Taliesin speaks to a sobbing woman questioning her about the crowd "Oh, oh I am so sorry. We are just morning the loss of Lady Nandar. She had a reputation for being distant (you recall the day you arrived having to wait until this morning to see her, ironically) but she was always here for the interests of us people. She treated nightstone as if we were her children. We all loved her so...." she breaks down into more sobs.

Viclas you may short or long rest. Morak has seen to it that there is at least room enough for all of you in the still serviceable rooms he has. 

Calanon walks into the crowd, having issues keeping his vision clear due to the burning light. After a few minutes and many apologies from various townsfolk he sees what they are all around. Lady Nandar is laying on the same table she was on in her keep. Cleaned up, but no less dead. These people were mourning. It did strike Calnon as odd that there wasn't a priest around to perform a service for the deceased. 

(For SOME reason I can't get that paragraph to unBold....)

Morak points to the upstairs "Yes lass there is a private washroom beween yer two rooms. It ain't much more than a trough with spring water, but it ought to do the trick."

Calanon frowned at this but did remember that they had found the church infested with goblins when they had at first returned to Nightstone so that they could find put the fate of the corpse on display. "Does this village no longer have a priest?" He will ask one of the villagers, hoping that they can confirm if the priest had been killed in the attack or not.

A guard pulls Calanon aside "We do, he is at the temple now. It seems to have been the first place the goblins ventured into. Why do you ask?"

Tomoe and her handmaiden Taki go to the "wash room" and Tomoe is cleaned up as best she can. She changes into her non combat attire and will have her Squire Orin try to repair her armor. Hashi remains with Morak assisting him with chores at the inn.

"That was the exact reason I asked. We were attacked by goblins that came from inside up on our return to find out the fate of Lady Nader. I did not know if your priest survived the attack."Calanon will calmly explain to the guard that had pulled him aside.

Viclas takes a short rest at the table eating his fill and recovering some of his spent arcana (arcana recovery)

That is quite unfortunate, what happened to Lady Nandaar.

My friends and I were actually here to accept a job offer she had for us but ironically was unable to meet with us until today.

After the attack we went to the mansion but found out she was killed by one of the boulders thrown down by the giants.

We came back to the caves to find you guys but found you were missing so we came to rescue you. I'm glad to know you're ok now even with the loss.

Maybe I can sing us a song to help ease the pain amongst the people?

was anything but subpar

She was hope for the people 

looking down from her mansion to the steeple

May we pray her body and soul finally get rest 

So she may join those of us who have passed on to be with the best.

Beamer hands Talieson a copper and thanks him for the performance.  (@Hatter, I assume the second Wilford in your long post was actually Beamer, yes?).   Beamer is grateful for the generosity of the Townsfolk and wants as much rest as he can get.  He heads into the Inn to get it.

After eating some food and thanking the dwarf for his hospitality, Wilword will head upstairs to nap in one of the beds. Before heading up he will give Viclas and Beamer a heads up. "I am just going to get some rest, I am spent and all. If anything happens let me know. As there are only two rooms I am more than happy to share so don't worry about waking me when you head to bed yourselves."

(There are 4 beds per room. 2 bunk beds are set up in each to be sure there is room for most of you. The main 7 and 1 retainer if anyone is concerned wit their sleep)

After Tomoe eats and gets an updated about the state of her armor from her squire, She will retire to the provided rooms and 17 in her exhaustion accidentally climbs into an already occupied bed and falls asleep immediately.

After eating and cleaning up Beamer enters the Inn bedroom and finds the first unoccupied bed (not hard with everyone falling almost where they stand) and sleeps.  ZZZZZZZZZ

Beamer wakes up after a long sleep and looks around to see what time it is.  He didn't mean to sleep as long as he did but is awake and aware now.  He gathers his things and moves toward the door.  (I'll edit this post if anything interrupts us in our sleep :-) )

Viclas heads off to sleep after spending a few hours down stairs
