Beamer responds to the woman as he quickly looks for a place to move people to safety. "I wish I knew more, These Storm Giants are never easy to predict, they tend to stay to themselves. But their sense of the future is very keen and If they are bothering the world below there is a reason. We are powerless unless against them unless we can find help from beings of similar power. For now we need to find safety." And with that he moves in the opposite direction of the giant ship above them hoping to avoid the boulders being thrown down.
Jason to hmiself "Giants? Here? Gods must be realy angry at this townfolks..Interesting.."
As he moves to the safe place pointed by the guards he still hold his shield.
"Hoar. Should I help these people or this is a punishment for thier sin?"
If Jason sees someone with crossbow or other weapon he will shout something like "Do not try to be a hero boy(girl). You are nothing for them. You'd better finde a shelter!"
As Beamer works with Tomoe to find shelter he remembers another race of giants that might help explain what is happening a little better and shouts to Tomoe. "It is possible that these giants are actually cloud giants and not storm giants. That could explain some things. They are distant cousins of the storm giants and act with less awareness of the future and with more carelessness. They don't usually pay much attention to the 'underworld' below the skies, as the see our world, but when they do it is likely to be for imperceptible reasons like boredom or on a dare. They see themselves as being without pier even though the storm giants could subdue them if necessary. Still I would suspect that something has happened that brings them down to rain boulders on us even if that something is no more than a game to them."
Wilword is running next to the Tomoe and the halfling, neither of them seems to be taking any notice of him.
"Whats all this talk of Giants. I thought this town had a problem with Goblins. They both start with G but they should be careful mixing them up. There is quite a difference in size."
As you are making your way towards the bridge you see a commotion at the towns bridge. A bottleneck is forming as the guards are tying to prevent anyone from being hurt.
(Jason)
As you made your way some guards ran up to you, one you recognize as the guard you met yesterday upon entering Nightstone. "Sir Inquisitor, please we beseech your help. Might you lead the way towards the Dripping Caves? It is a cave a mile north of the town, we can hide out there until this barrage passes."
(Wilword, Tomoe, and Beamer)
Approaching the gate you can see its starting to bottleneck, the guards are doing all they can to keep the townsfolk from trampling each other.
(Viclas)
Staying near the guards you overhear more than a few speak about their concerns about who will defend the townsfolk if the goblins attack them as they evacuate.
(Taliesin)
She says "I'm just grabbing my things, who knows whats going to be left when this is all over with". She is telling the truth, but not all of it. There's more to this woman than just wanting to grab her bags.

Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
Calanon kept his hood pulled low as he joined with the villagers and guards, his hand resting on the hilt of his rapier. He wished he had a blade of drow make but knew that it could not be so on the surface as the sun would have ruined the enchanments and destroyed it. He shook such thoughts away and continued to keep his eyes on the giants and the boulders they threw.
Viclas will attempt to move in with the towns guard making sure no one gets hit with a boulder

Tomoe follows Beamer.
Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 12 (8W-4L)- - Coliseum of Conquest: Master of Faerie Fire. Just don't ask her to spell it.

Wilword runs after Tomoe just as he starts following the halfling.
"What is happening? Where is the bard? Where are we going?"
Wilword will be ducking every time he hears a boulder land and will be always watching the sky in case a boulder is heading in their direction.
Taliesin says, "Well obviously I'm not with the goblins. What are you doing?"
