Beamer is not waiting, soon as the rope is available he shimmies across. [OOC: I guess I didn't think to ask what we are looking at on the other side. Is it a closed castle drawbridge or gate?]
You need to have faith in the heart of the cards. Let your conscious be your guide, looks for the bear necessities. be mindful of the force. But trusting the Dice gods is always a gamble.

You see just two windowless stone gatehouses set into the motte’s curtain wall with wood-shingled, high-pitched rooftops. Between them stands a set of oak doors with iron hinges. The doors can be barred shut from within, but they aren’t barred. You can push open the doors to gain access to Nandar Keep and its bailey.
Taliesin
You see no signs of traps or foes for that matter.
Upon entering the Bailey
The inner bailey is strewn with rocks. Ramps lead up to the 8-foot-high stone parapet that encircles the yard. No guards are currently standing watch on the walls.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Beamer moves in the opposite direction but with the same plan. He stows his bow now that he is inside and pulls his shield (AC now 18) and rapier for close combat. He starts up the ramp opposite Taliesin and also looks closely for traps and weak building structures. [@Tyrannosary, I assume Talieson went left and I'm going right we should meet behind the castle unless we find something. perception: 7 ]
Calanon stayed with the rest of the part as Beamer and Taliesan went to explore the ramparts of the inner Bailey. He drew his rapier and dagger, holding them at his side as he kept his eyes going between the two as they explored.
The whole of the courtyard and wall looks clear, along the way you see dead guards crushed by rocks within the bailey.
Jason
Upon looking closely you can see the Keep did take a few hits from the barrage of rocks. You do notice that the front doors are ajay as well as a hole in the side of the keep that seems to have been taken out from a rock hurled at an angle.
All in all the courtyard and Nandar Keep fared no better than the city slightly below. And still no live guards in sight.

Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
Beamer makes his way back to the group and reports nothing but rock devastation and the additional deaths. "Still nothing obvious about Lady Nander. We should search the castle of the keep itself. It looks like the doors are ajar. If we find the way blocked we could enter from the back as well. One of the rocks destroyed the back left section of the castle and it is completely caved in." Beamer makes his way towards the front entrance and cautiously pushes the large left door leading in.
With his weapons still drawn and at the ready, Calanon moved to follow after the halfling and human. The drow was glad to be inside but knew that with a rock having collapsed most of one side he still would have to deal with the accursed light.

Yes, good plan. I'll go left and you go right. I'd also like to stealth 11
