Wilword starts walking away from the tied up goblin once he got the information he needed. "He is scared and looks like he will do whatever we need. No need to kill him yet." He leaves the others to ask their questions.
Looking towards the direction that the small creature had indicated, Wilword thinks about whether they are in time to save the Townsfolk.
Beamer wanders toward the northeast where the dragging tracks were seen. It is confusing that so many townsfolk would leave so few tracks. He studies them again.
The goblin looks to Taliesin "Name? I am called Mok. I help, Mok will lead. Will show you to where Hark is. Will show you where Shiny's are. Mok will even take you to slaves, just please don't hurt Mok."
Beamer with a second, closer look you see a set of Ogre tracks broken up by the humans tracks. It seems not all the townsfolk walked.

Calanon does not think they should trust the goblin at all but will defer to the rest of the party as they seemed to be wary of him as it was. The drow shakes such thoughts away as he could say the same at times as it was foolish to trust anyone you did not know well.
"It looks like the townsfolk went this way. The second ogre was here as well and it appears the townsfolk were 'encouraged' if not forced by the ogre in this direction. Calanon, Do you want to follow the tracks with your ability to see in the dark or should we lead with the torches? We should work as fast as possible, no telling the dangers they are in at this point."
"That will depend on the tactics we wish to take. If we want to scout ahead I would say it is best for those of us skilled in stealth and with capable dark vision to move in first. If the plan is instead to rush in and overwhelm them then it will not matter who leads." Calanon says, turning to each member of the party to see their thoughts on the matter.
Beamer looks at Calanon and says "Go, we need to understand what is happening. Be careful and quiet but see if you can learn something. We will try to follow but at a long distance so we are not disturbing your stealth. If you get into trouble yell 'Companions of Nightstone unit' and we will come quickly."
Calanon nods to the two of them and pulls his hood low over his head, his hand moving to rest near his rapier if the need to draw it comes. With one last look at the rest of them be will go ahead to scout where they had seen the orgre and human tracks.
In the darkness, Calanon sneaks off towards where the people are being held. As you approach the open tunnel you see an Ogre standing further in, at the end of the tunnel. On guard facing towards you, she seems to be on guard and alert, holding her club.
Ogre's Perception check: 12
She looks right past you as you blend seamlessly along with the cave walls.
Calanon will stay far enough to remain hidden but will look closer to see what else he can see in the room, hoping that he will be able to spot the villagers.
You see that the room behind her isn't flat, rather there seems to be a decline in the ground. Further in you don't se any ground at all but rather a steep inclince near the rear wall, as if there were a pit. Calanon spots no villagers, but he hears noise coming from the room... murmuring and faint crying.

Calanon makes note of this and will slip back to the party to tell them what he saw. "From what I saw there was another ogre in the area ahead. I saw no signs of the villagers but there was what may have possibly been some kind of pit. I heard a murmuring of voices and crying but it was faint." He looks to them to see what the next step will be.
Guys leave him alone he's fine. What's your name?

Taliesin gets down on one knee still looking at the goblin.
Don't worry, I don't want to hurt you. Would you like to be friends? Here's a little shiny piece for yourself.
I'll hand the goblin a shiny copper piece.
I think we'd make great friends, you can leave your past behind. Join me and you'll have great friends and a home of your own.

Being prepared for what lies ahead would be prudent. I saw we let our scouts gather information. But we need to be quick.

[OOC: fun fact! In my country word for "sword case" is the same as for vagina]

Jason "we should find a way to pull the Ogre here"
Agreed. if we can take out the remaining Ogre we could deal with getting the villagers out with relative ease.
