Beamer remains at ready studying the situation to understand where the townsfolk have been taken. He follows one of the guards with a torch deeper inside to get a better look.
Hearing the footsteps Wilword readies the sleep for when the newcomers come within 20 feet.
As his orb starts to glow in his hands he calls to the rest of the team, "If you wish to keep your feet stay away from the passageway they are coming from I will try and drop a few before they know what happened to them."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hey Calanon, are you able to see tracks? What direction do you think the villagers went?" Beamer calls a guard over with a torch to search for tracks leading into the caves. He studies them for a time: survival21
"Let me see what I can find." The drow calls back to the halfling as he moves around the cave to see if he can find any sort of tracks. He was not sure how much he would be able to find if the human and goblin tracks intermingled.
(Investigation to look for any signs where the villagers went 14)
As the party readies themselves for the next wave of enemies Beamerstudies the muddy tracks on the cave floor. Upon close inspection he can easily spot 23 distinct tracks, 14 left by goblins, 7 from what appears to be large rats, and 2 from Ogres.
Calanon spot faint signs of dragging toward the tunnel in the northeast of the cavern. (Top right on the map in the campaign notes.)
Whilst investigating 6 more goblins appear from a tunnel behind where the Ogre was bathing in mud. (Bottom left tunnel on the map by the mud puddle.)
(Goblin Initiative incoming, those of you with prepared actions may let loose on them)

Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
(It's the same initiative as before. Those in the party who haven't acted may act now as well as anyone who has a prepared action. Goblins initiative will be rolled into Round 2. they don't get to act because their action was wasted on doing whatever it was before they heard the sounds of fighting. There is no need for the party to re-roll initiative. I apologize or any confusion, multi-wave battles are a bit clunky.)
Viclas lets loose a ball of shifting energy, striking a goblin square in its chest. The overwhelming magic stops the creatures heart and it dies charging.
Tomoe, Beamer, Wilword, Jason, Taliesin, G1, and G2 are up.

I will fire my small cross bow at whatever Goblin he sees first unless someone else is already attacking it (if that's the case he'll shoot the next one)

Calanon turns to tell the others what he had found but stops as he sees the goblin, cursing as he had put his bow on his back to investigate.
Am I after Jason still or did some of the goblins beat my initiative roll?

Yeah that's what I was asking. If I was before or after any of the new goblins. Alright, thanks.
