Shooting my shortbow, the dice roll was messed up

Calanon once again fires a vicious arrow into to pudding, followed immediately by Taliesin.

The Ooze is shuddering visibly and parts of its mass are falling to the floor. Jason, then Wilword are up next. 

Fire Attack: 22 Damage: 5

The ooze falls in a burning heap. Singing your noses with a smell akin to a car battery on fire.

The party is free to act on their own accord. The room can now be freely investigated for "Shinies" spoke of by Mok

Calanon will move in to investigate the room now that the ooze is no more. He will go back to look at the holy symbol but set it aside to search for any money he can make since his job to make contact with Lady Nadar had failed.

Tomoe will slump against a cave wall and catch her breath. That was close. Thank you.

"Glad to see you are still with us.  That thing was bad news."  Beamer will pick up his torch and make inspections as well to help find any loot.  He will also keep his eyes open for any weird creatures crawling out of the corners.

I think i need a bath. And something for this headache. I am officially ready to leave. Tomoe will try to clean off her armor as best she can and evaluate the damage to it.

Taliesin will move to the bloodstained leather case and inspect it. He'd also like to see what's inside.

Wilword will take a deep breath not realizing he was holding it while waiting to see if Tomoe made it out alive.

While the rest of the team search the room for the second time he leans up against the cave wall and watched out in case the commotion brought any others.

While all of this is going on Viclas will ritual cast detect magic

Jasons stands near Tomoe with his shield on his back and his Hoar amulet in one hand

"Tomoe you were on the edge. Try to not repeat it to many times"

He looks around and starts preaching

"Bloody magic, yes it has killed this abomination but it was also the reason it was alive. Nothing good from the magic"

“The divine art is one used by the gods to give power to mortals, throught it many goods have come, but yet with that many evils follow as not all gods are good, throught divinity the dead can be raised and curses pass, no tool is evil, for only the wielder can make that choice, magic is a very powerful tool” Viclas finished his quote and continued with his ritual

Jason disagree "It is not our to judge the gods. Gods powers will never surpass them. They can control it fully and share it with the faithful. You can't say that about the magic. It is twisted and wild in its roots" 

After this he would cast Divine Sense in the room and will check the holy symbol

“The mortals that are gifted by the gods can be as corrupt as any mage can, for we are mortal and will always make mistakes, no mater the path choosen” Viclas finished his ritual and approached the amulet as well

(No no please, continue this morale debate about the nature of good vs evil, Arcane vs Divine, and the nature of mortals vs the nature of gods. You've pulled me in.)

Tomoe is healed of some of her burns and brought back from the brink. Jason channels holy energy through himself into the wounded woman to keep her with the living.

Those of you investigating still see the matching pair of silver salt and pepper shakers, a bloodstained leather case, and the holy symbol laying about. Beamer, under Moks corpse and thoroughly covered in dead slime is a metal box, looking to originally be a safe it has corroded down to little more than a tin of metal. Yet is has remained shut (Althetics check to try and pry it open, the lock is completely unusable.

Wilword still is in recovery of the fierce battle and the wave of relief that she's okay, he spares little more than a glance at the room.

The Holy Symbol, for those of you looking at it requires a Religion check to which faith and god it belongs to. You can tell the wood its carved into and more importantly the gold inlaid into it makes this quite valuable if nothing else.

Taliesin, inside this case is coin 21 gp, 98 sp, and 84 cp (loose) that jingles as you open the case. A complete set of thieves tools (very new and very usable). And a small sphere of thick glass weighs 1 pound. With a word in Elvish elegantly carved into it that reads "Guide".

Viclas, your spell reveals 2 sources of Magic nearby. In the suitcase is a dim shine and the heavily damaged metal box a bit of a brighter aura grabs your attention.

(I really hope i covered everyone's actions. It looks like I did, but I still feel i missed something.)

Viclas quickly moves to where the metal box is "this box appears to have magic properties, do you think you can get it open Beamer"

(Calanon was investigating the holy symbol to guess at the worth of it. He wasn't really worried about the god it represented but might as well try.)

"If it is locked I might be able to get it open as I have trained in dabbling with lockpicks in my time as a mercenary." Calanon will tell Viclas.
