At this point the orb is strobing by the command of as excited Taliesin. The globe bobs in the air, rising when commanded to shed its light, and slowly sinking to the ground when inactive. Taliesin roll perception or Investigation for me please.

With an active effort and intent from Viclas the wand releases 3 bolts of force and fly towards the wall hitting it dully for 12 damage. The Wizard recognizes this spell immediately. Magic Missile had been cast from the wand. You may roll Arcana, now with advantage since you know its nature, to see how many more times you (or whoever end up with it) can do that again.

Good find! That will definitely be useful in the future!

Taliesin excitedly command the orb again and a brilliant flash of Daylight over takes the small room and hall. Calanon eyes sear as the light hits his sensitive eyes. I thought the spell counted as being sunlight, but it does not specify so I am ruling no. Sorry Calanon, I jumped the gun.

now the first one works

Well Viclas, I guess you used one of the charges on your wand but now we know what it is Beamer says with a smile.  Gentlemen and lady who should we trust to carry our treasures so we can benefit from them in the end?  Or do we just barter for each of them now?  I am most interesting in the bag that seems to be able to hold more than is natural.  We should investigate exactly what it is and decide who will use it.  Beamer continues to inspect that ornate bag that Tomoe put the rock in to see if he can understand more about it.  (If we are not pressed for time do we have a better chance of understanding what something is?  [ investigation if needed: 4 ] )

Well this ball is pretty cool, you guys can decide who wants the salt shakers, holy symbol, bag, and wand. I just want this. Hey Viclas, is there anything magical about this leather case? If not I guess one of you guys can have it, if you clean it up you might be able to sell or trade it.

Arcana would be the roll to discern magic items properties. Or the spell Identify. You are not pressed for time as you are quite sure this cave is empty other than those of you in this room. Someone can aid you with Help to increase your odds as well. A character may also spend an hour with any item studying it and testing to learn its properties. No roll or spell required.

Viclas, the wand seems to be almost spent. Little power remains.

How much longer do you guys want to be in here? If we have time I'd like to take a look at the case and figure out if I'm missing something.

I am spent. I would like to return to town and rest. My entire body hurts with quite the intensity.

Once his vision is no longer blurry, Calanon will still have to refrain from strangling the bard. "I am in agreement let us return to town. The sooner the better so thst I am not under the blasted sun for to long."
