You approach the edge of the forest. It certainly lives up to its name. The leaves and grass are a bright green shade, yet darkness and mist quickly obscures the path ahead, as nighttime approaches.
You create a knife made from ice, and dash up to the nearest spider, piercing it's heart. It freezes completely, from the inside out. Then, it falls over, shattering to a million pieces. The other spider, badly weakened, shrieks in terror, and then runs away into the forest. It leaves a trail of blood behind, allowing you to follow it to it's lair, if you want to. (Roll a survival check if you want to follow the spider)
“That’ll teach them!” I do not like spiders and an completely wiped from battle and turn to my party “I think it’s best we continue on, and get this sword. Anybody have any other ideas?”
"We should follow it back to it's lair. It could have a lot of gold or useful items. And while we heal, so will the spider. I'd rather deal with it now, while it's weak, than deal with it later when we don't have as much as an advantage."
"So it's off to the emerald forest? Any objections? Great let's get out of here. I tire of of everyone staring at me in horror and disgust."
“What are we waiting for? Let’s go!”
