As you walk in the direction that Zade had shown you, the forest starts to clear up, and you see the exit of the dying forest. Before reaching the exit however, two wolves slink out of the woods, facing you, looking hungrily at the bear cub. Roll Initiative.
Without taking his eyes off the wolves, Brom slowly slides his pack off his shoulders and onto the ground, placing the cub carefully behind the pack. Considering his condition and the cub, Brom slowly stands and readies his glaive in hopes of keeping some distance between they and the threat.
”Unless these are scouts, there are usually more than two in a pack. Do either of you see anymore, especially behind us?”
Welp.... Stravini will cast Tasha's Caustic Brew on the Wolfs, moving around to get both of them. DEX save: 13
Each creature in the line must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be covered in acid for the spell’s duration or until a creature uses its action to scrape or wash the acid off itself or another creature. A creature covered in the acid takes 2d4 acid damage at start of each of its turns.
“Thank you for carrying the cub. I can help if you get tired”
D&D since 1984
Brom nods and smiles. “I appreciate it. It may need some healing here, soon. We’ll know more once we find a safe place for all of us to rest.”
Carrying the bear cub, Brom (and the others) continue walking in the direction of the village that Zade had suggested.
As you walk in the direction that Zade had shown you, the forest starts to clear up, and you see the exit of the dying forest. Before reaching the exit however, two wolves slink out of the woods, facing you, looking hungrily at the bear cub. Roll Initiative.
