The guard has no reaction to Brom's or Zade's transformation, but when Stravini transforms, he suddenly exclaims: "Wh... what the hell are you?! STAY BACK. You are not one of the races of the Great Treaty, therefore, you must be aligned with the were-wolves!" The two spearmen start running towards Stravini, but are far enough that their whole turn is used on movement. You are within attacking range if that is what you choose.
Without hesitation, Brom transforms into his hybrid form as he rushes to put himself between the oncoming guards and Stravini. Posturing to make himslf as large and aggressive looking as possible, in guttural roar he bellows, “No! Stravini good! Victim of Drow magic! Not wolves! Talk first!!”
Uthemar tired from the long day at his post sees the ruckus going on and decides to intercede. He is aware of the prejudices and suspicion out there about those that are different. He himself has never had the change come upon him. He practices magic for a time to try and spark some kind of lycanthropy. He even went to see a wizard expert in these types of things but he never able to divine anything useful. He had long ago given up on being normal with the rest of the world. He would have to make due with being plain and uninteresting.
"Gentlemen, let's not be hasty. Perhaps we should hear them out before stringing them up. If we strip, beat, and kill everyone that doesn't fit our mold of normal, then we are just like the were-wolves. Go ahead and explain yourselves. quickly now!" says Uthemar to the three companions.

Uthemar turns to his fellow guard he was standing watch with and says "Yeah we should get the Captain over here. Let him take care of this mess. Go fetch him here while I keep an eye on the situation."
