"Ok everyone be quiet this will be tricky."

She casts Dancing Lights and sends them through the hole. She then joins her mind with Simon and her eyes shine pure white as she sends him through after the lights.

 Simon creeps into the room beyond.

It appears to be some sort of shrine room. An alcove in the south wall holds the rubble of a shattered statue. An alcove to the north holds a statue of a dwarf with horns, which stares greedily at a glowing green gem in its hands. 

 Toot conveys what she sees.

 "Tell the creature to grab the stone."  Dazlyn whispers back.

 "Simon can you do that please?"

She joins with the beast again and heads into the room. It creeps into the room and flaps over to the statue. As the beast reaches up to touch the emerald it turns to dust and the statue explodes. Toot flinches back as the corridor shakes and more rubble falls down undoing all of their hard work.

"It was a trap."

 Norbus sigh, "I am sorry about your pet lass."

 "It's ok I can summon him back."

 "Well I think that concludes our business. We are not miners after all."

 "It is late, you should stay the night. We have rations to spare."

 "Thank you, that would be appreciated."

 The group follow the dwarves back to the outer excavation where they have their camp.

They take a long rest.

 As they get ready the next morning Feldoran dons his new armour.

 Toot borrows some more incense from Thomas and brings back Simon.

 She then summons her disk and hops on board ready for the days travel.

 Elandra has strange dreams.

She wakes to find all the stones around her are floating a few feet off the ground. She gasps and they drop with a clatter.

"What the..."

 "Are you well Elandra?"

 "I think so... I feel different"

DAY FOUR - DWARVEN EXCAVATION

As the party leave the excavation they hear voices from the canyon ahead.

 Toot sends Simon ahead.

 "Orcs. Five of them."

 "Be ready for trouble."
