"Good to see you Toblen. What news do you have for us?"

 Toblen thinks for a moment.

"I hear that Barthen is looking for someone to make a delivery to the Logger Camp up north in the forest. If you venture that way Falcon’s Hunting Lodge is the only safe haven in Neverwinter Wood. It lies deep in the forest along a river’s edge, and wealthy nobles venture there to hunt while under Falcon’s protection. Falcon is a retired veteran of many wars, and it’s said he’ll offer free room and board to anyone who brings him a bottle of wine.” 

 "Then we had best purchase a bottle."

 "I'll see what I have out back."

Toblen returns several minutes later with a bottle of red wine. The label reads Echo Wave. "That will be five gold."

 "I'll cover it." Feldoran offers.

 Thomas spends the evening dismantling and cleaning his pistol.

A few of the patrons take an interest in the unusual weapon and wander over to take a look at it.

 Elandra spends the evening in the stables yard practicing her swordplay with Feldoran.

She starts to hone her new psionic skills and shares her concerns with the dwarf.

 "I don't know anything about blessings but it could be useful."

 Toot attempts to cast shape water using her new hat.

INT 18

 The spell fizzles out. "Hmm looks like I need practice!"

 As the evening draws on Anders brings out the lute.

‘This Moment of Magic’ – A love song about a wizard’s apprentice falling for his classmate as they cooperate in the creation of a summoning circle. ‘Though I open a gate to the Plane of Air, and float through unending skies, I would never find night that was dark as your hair, nor a view as blue as your eyes.’

Toot sits nearby and dreamily taps her table top in time with the music.

The party take a long rest.

DAY 8 - PHANDALIN

The party wake and meet downstairs for breakfast.

 "Shall we head round the Barthens to pick up some work?"

 "You go ahead. I will check in with Sildar before we head out once more."

 "I'll come with you boss."

 Elandra heads for the general store with Feldoran and Anders.

 Barthen greets them warmly.

"Ah you have returned. How can I serve you today?"

 "Tolben tells us you have work?"

 "Ah yes, I need a delivery made to the loggers camp up north."

Barthen tells them that his clerks have filled two crates with supplies as he hands them a sheet of parchment, upon which is written an inventory of the crates’ contents: foodstuffs such as dried meat, blocks of cheese, and loaves of bread, as well as casks of ale and flasks of oil. The two heavy crates are loaded onto a two-wheeled cart pulled by an ox. “The ox’s name is Vincent,” says Barthen. “I’ll expect to see him and the cart returned, thanks.”

"When you get there look for Tibor Wester. He's a shifty old scoundrel so dont get sucked in to any of his schemes."

 "Thanks." laughs Anders, "We'll try not to."

 Back at the Lords hall.

Thomas delivers an update on their adventures to Lord Hallwinter.

 "We have seen no sign of the dragon, though others have."
