With the entrance open and the hall secure Feldoran checks out the eastern double doors.
Stealth 22
The earthquake that hit Axeholm triggered a ceiling collapse that left this hall in ruins. The eastern half of the hall is strewn with debris and is difficult terrain. The stench of death hangs heavy here.
Feldoran leaves the party to scout the northern passage. He comes back after several minutes to confirm that the passage leads to the eastern bulwark and there is a burrowed tunnel in it's eastern wall heading upward.
Simon finds a rubble-strewn tunnel connecting the upper and lower levels of Axeholm. The tunnel is approximately 2 feet wide, 5 feet high, and 60 feet long.
Toot sends Simon to explore the tunnels ahead of them.
The group follow behind and light Simons way with dancing lights. First he tries the northern tunnels and finds nothing but rubble and then the south. They reach a door that has been smashed open, and its remains are strewn on the floor.
The stench of death and decay grows stronger as Simon approaches the room, and he can hear the hisses and snarls. Six Ghouls look up as the room is filled with light and Toot brings Simon back as the Ghouls charge forward.
The party follow Simon in. This chamber was once a shrine, as evidenced by wall carvings that depict dwarves carrying censers and observing religious rites. However, the eastern section of the room has collapsed, filling the area with rubble. Gnawed bones scattered among the debris are the remains of a number of dwarves.
Feldoran searches the debris.
He finds a platinum amulet on a thin but sturdy gold chain. This amulet is a holy symbol of Moradin (the dwarven god of creation) and bears his symbol: a hammer and anvil. Feldoran keeps this and hangs it about his neck, next to the symbol of Abbathor.
The party get to work unbarring the entrance and opening up the doors to let in the fresh evening air.

Empty Room
It appears that this square room was cleaned out by the dwarves before they evacuated Axeholm. Only dust remains.

Feldoran also finds an unlocked steel coffer. This small box is packed with silt, nestled in which is a potion of superior healing.
He discards the coffer and gives the potion to Elandra.

A door stands closed on the opposite wall and stairs descend off down to the left.
To their right the passage turns off to the left and another door stands closed on the northern wall.
