Kalhala had been sitting back enjoying breakfast fully when the elder arrived. As he talks about his vision, the connection to what happened to them in the grotto cannot be ignored. As some of them ask Kalhala to show the elder the amulet, he pulls it out and places it before the man. “Does this match your vision?”
Ushru's eyes widen. "Yes... that's it..." He states, astounded. He then leans in close, his voice dropping down to a murmur. "My friends, what you have in your possession is known as the Jewel of Three Prayers. It is a magic relic from the Calamity... a Vestige of Divergence. It is not by accident people stumble into these things... And if my vision rings true, then there is something more to this than meets the eye. I saw something else... a hero from long ago praying in a temple of great evil. I believe this temple of evil is in Bazzoxan, about two weeks' travel to the east. If you wish to learn more about this item you've come across, I suggest you go there."
"It's called the Betrayer's Rise. From what I hear, the Aurora Watch stationed there is constantly on guard for evil creatures that emerge from the temple wreaking havoc..." Ushru says, shaking his head. He then turns to Aldith. "The Vestiges of Divergence are relics from the Age of Arcanum and the Calamity, when the Prime Deities, the Betrayer Gods, and the mortals all waged war on one another. Some are divine relics blessed by the gods. Others are powerful arcane items crafted by great wizards and sorcerers. This one, the Jewel, is one of the former. This is a divine blessing. I imagine it boasts some interesting powers to any who attunes to it."
Kalhala picks up the amulet with new appreciation and checks it over carefully, holding it up to whatever light source is around. "Aurora's Watch you say? I used to be part of that. I think it would be wise to travel to Bazzoxan. What say you all? Nexus?"
"I'm going if you all are." Mornin replies. "Besides, it wouldn't feel right to do nothing after seeing a vision like that."

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
"So did I," Shayone murmurs. "Bazzoxan sounds like a good idea," she says, louder. "But this temple is treacherous. We might need to be more strongly outfitted than we were for a fair, even one that involved fighting sharks." She deliberately keeps her eyes on the amulet, and not on Ushru.
Nexus listened while the others and the elder spoke, though hearing the name 'Bazzozan' did chime a bell in the back of her head, leaving her to quietly ponder for a moment -why- it sounded familiar. It wasn't like she's ever really left the town, least not terribly far. Eventually she does recall something, seeming to brighten up at the prospect. "Well, suppose if we do head there, I might have a friend in that town we can talk to that knows the local area. And frankly...I'd like her opinion on this, too. She's a very smart woman."
Aldith recalls her dream, vision really, and of the powerful sense that she must follow this relic, this Jewel. It's a mission from the Keeper of Moontides himself. He promised her even greater power, a power she had come to rely on to protect herself and her family, and how could she refuse that? Even despite the promise of greater power, she had to admit she was curious about this relic, curious to learn more of the man they had seen in their vision.
"I'm in," she says decisively. "Let's go to Bazzoxan. We should see this through."
Ushru smiles. "It will be a hard road, but one certainly worth taking. Something awaits you there, I'm sure of it. Something that will lead to more answers about this relic you have found. I wish you all the best of luck."The old orc bows his head, then stands and takes his leave.
Almost as soon as Ushru is out the door, Ayo Jabe walks up to the table. "Seemed like a serious conversation. What was he saying to you? Was it about that weird vision you had yesterday?"
Had it been someone else, Nexus might have clammed up. But....Ayo was a childhood friend, and she liked to think she knew the other enough to trust them with a little information. "Yea---the vision, the strange item, and perhaps some guidance on what to do next in Bazzoxan. You and your group wouldn't be interested in perhaps traveling together if you're heading that way, would you? You're probably aware being the bookworm I am I don't get outside the city much."
In her mind, they were about as capable as all of them were, if not more in some aspects. If the road there was dangerous, than having more allies to count upon was a great thing. "....Also, look forward to an actual challenge the next time we have a swimming race. I won't be losing a second time."
It wasn't often Nexus made challenges like that aloud, but it was certain without a doubt she knew this woman with the familiar tone she used with them. Sure, they might not have hung out in awhile, but it wasn't like they had been on bad terms.
As for Kalhala, asking who she knew; "A friend of mine, currently employed with the organization I hope to join at some point in the future. You've probably met them before, Mini. Though, you do see a lot more people than I do, so..."
Fig nod vigorously “Sounds like we’re all in agreement to Nexuses friend then on to Bazzozan”! She looks to Ayo to see if they will be traveling along with them.
"I should try and find Maryl again --" Shayone adds. "I promised to try and catch up with her, and she used to work out of Bazzoxan, so she might have some useful insight."
Kalhala pipes up "That would be great to have a possible in to Bazzoxan. Yes, let's talk with Nexus's mentor, yes, I think I do remember her now that you mention it. And then see if we can find Maryl before we head on out. Ayo, you and your friends in?"
"We were lookin' for some opportunity, now that the festival is done. If you're headed to Bazzoxan, you'll need all the help you can get. We'll come with you!" Ayo says with a thumbs up. "We can travel with you, or we can meet you there. It's up to you. We'll be ready to leave in an hour or so."
"Well, I'd like to pack a few things and inform my mother I'll be leaving town for a time, so---Why don't we all gather at the gate in an hour, then? Kalhala---Might I hold onto the thing? I believe that it shouldn't take me too long, so mayhaps I'll have a moment to try and identify the specific properties of the item while I wait for everyone else."
She glanced at the rest of the table, not forcing it if they were all uncomfortable with her holding onto it. As for Ayo---"I'm personally in favor of traveling with you all, though. Just gotta make sure everybody is okay with it."
Shayone nods. "More numbers on the road is good, and you fought well." And they hadn't pushed a fight about the eye's brief disappearance. "Oh! Nexus, if you're looking at things, can you look at that scroll I found? We didn't really have time to sit down and take a good look at it, I forgot about the damned thing entirely until just now." She pulls out the scroll she'd found in the underground tunnels and offers it to Nexus.
"Yes, let me see it. Perhaps I could provide some guidance."
(Sorry, was on a quick trip, but back now)

Shayone perks forward out of her slouch at the mention of Bazzoxan. "What kind of temple? Could you see anything of it in your vision?"
