One of the axes is damaged, but not enough to knock it out of action. The axes are flying quickly and are tough, so it's hard to land a solid blow on them.
Three axes, including the one previously damage, are smashed out of the air by Ameera's great axe. They lie on the ground, their haft's split or cleaved in twain.
The remaining two axes are smashed to the ground. Ameera takes a breather and lets the red rage leave her.
She looks into the chest and sees her prize - The Horn of the Great Tiger! She picks it up with two hands reverently, then works out how to fit it alongside her pack.
It's time to leave.
Anything else Ameera wants to do before heading out?
Ameera and Yselm emerge. Harshnag looks at them both and nods when he sees the horn.
"It was yours," he rumbles. "It is time it was returned. And I see you have none of our other treasures. I wonder if it just shows what you desire. I was unsure of what I would do if you had taken some of our sacred items. But it seems my visions were true and I am thankful. I will return now, my presence in the next part of your journey would bring you trouble. My visions were clear about that."
Harshnag stoops to awkwardly pat you both on the shoulders.
"Farewell friends. Good luck in restoring your tribe." Ameera and Yselm give their goodbyes and thanks.
The giant turns to leave, taking great strides and is soon lost to the gloom.
Yselm looks at Ameera.
"There were moments there when I was a little worried," she said, smiling. "Well, that's part of what we must do. Now the hard bit. It will likely all hinge on you now. We have the right to challenge."
The pair take off, leaving the hill just as the moon rises and the great stone throne hovering above the entrance returns to the ground, sealing off the dungeon below it.
Yselm knows the way well, and there is one overnight stay (long rest) beside a cairn. The stone markings of the cairn show that the tribe is of the Tiger, but not Ameera's mother's tribe and that they headed towards the coast, following the reindeer.
21st day of Flamerule
The next day was overcast once more, meaning Ameera and Yselm spent hours in complete darkness. Yselm had suggested that they contact as many tribes as they could on their way, telling them what was about to happen. This would make it more difficult for Bjornhild Solvigsdottir to subvert the customs of the tribe regarding challenge and succession.
"I don't know that she would, but let's not take the chance," said Yselm. "Worship of Auril has changed her, and not for the better."
They found the camp of the tribe, responded to the challenge of the sentries and were brought before the tribe's chief Frode Bengtsson. He and his tribe listened in wonder to their story and gazed reverently as Ameera produced the Horn of the Great Tiger. Frode Begtsson stated he would send messengers to the nearby tribes, who would do the same and converge on Bjornhild Solvigsdottir's tribe.
"While I am happy that the tides of change are here to restore our ways, others who have tied themselves to Bjornhild Solvigsdottir will not be. They will hear of this, and I pray to Tempos - yes! To Tempos! - that there is little they can do. You must stay the night with us, let us feast together, and in the morning you must head straight for your mother's tribe. I guarantee the tribes will be there within a day of you."
The night was a good one, there were stories and sharing of information, lots of fermented reindeer milk, and great slabs of meat cooked just the way Ameera liked.
The next three days were heading towards Ameera's tribe, the tribe of Bjornhild Solvigsdottir - Queen of all the Tiger Tribes. They were contacted by emissaries of other Tiger tribes, all wanting to see the Horn of the Great Tiger, to verify it and Ameera's pedigree and intention. They all said they would report back to their chiefs who were even now making for their Queen's tribe.
On 25th day of Flamerule, when the rest of the Heroes of Good Mead were fixing the Id Ascendant with the help of Potzblitz the gnome artificer and the ceremorphs, Ameera faced her mother across the battle circle. Around the circle were the chiefs, shamans, and great warriors of the smaller Tiger tribes, all keen to see the spectacle. The previous night had been one of discussion of Lore, whether Ameera was who she said she was, and whether Yselm could actually be a witness to Ameera's deeds.
In front of the crowd of chiefs, great warriors, shamans, and others, Ameera declared herself the child who Bjornhild Solvigsdottir had flung into the sea as a sacrifice to Auril. There was murmuring about this, as most had only heard that her daughter had been "lost" - with death ever present the Reghed tribesfolk shunned human sacrifice as a waste. Bjornhild did not contest this, everyone could see the physical similarities that marked them as mother and daughter.
Then they debated whether Yselm was a valid witness to Ameera's deeds according to the Lore of the tribe. It hinged on whether Yselm's status, whether she was banished (being permanently removed from the tribe) or exiled (which could be permanent or temporary, but were still part of the tribe). Finally, when evidence was shown that Yselm was providing the Queen's tribe with steel, food, and provisions from Ten-Towns - and just as importantly that Bjornhild Solvigsdottir had not been sharing with the other Tiger tribes - the chiefs voted that Yselm's status was temporary exile, not banished.
Then of course Yselm could tell the story of Ameera's deeds, although only the ones for which she had proof. Then she told of her personally witnessing the recovery of the Horn of the Great Tiger from the terrible dungeon of the Frost Giants. Ameera thought Yselm laid it on a bit thick but restrained her urge to correct her that the vicious flock of giant birds was actually just ravens. Then Ameera presented the Horn of the Great Tiger to everyone. They all looked at the Great Horn of the Tiger with wonder, and of course it had to be blown in full view and hearing of everyone present. Chief Frode Begtsson was nominated and accepted as the person who would wind the horn for the first time in a generation. A yurt was the target.
The chief blew the horn, and a blast of energy which sounded like the angry roar of a great cat created a furrow through the snow and blew apart the yurt and shattered all of the pottery within, and the energy continued past the hut for a total of over 600 ft. There was dead silence, and then much cheering and jubilation. Queen Bjornhild Solvigsdottir scowled.
"Lets get this so-called challenge over with," she said. "You may have fought old bones and a few birds, but you have yet to face the rage of the tiger!" Her sabre-toothed tiger companion, Grava, growled in response to her misteress' mood and turned her yellow eyes on Ameera. This was the other debate of the previous night. Bjornhild insisted that Grava be allowed to fight with her, as a totem of their tribe, as "part of her" as much as her sword. She cited precedence where this had been allowed before, and the chiefs agreed reluctantly that it was allowed. Ameera herself would be allowed a second, in accordance with Lore and Law. There had been no shortage of volunteers to assist Ameera and now was the time to choose.
Her voice rang out clearly..
"I choose.."
(Options can be no one, Yselm Bloodfang, or Dane Begtsson - brother of Frode Begtsson and Great Warrior of their tribe)
One of the axes is damaged, but not enough to knock it out of action. The axes are flying quickly and are tough, so it's hard to land a solid blow on them.
They attack again
Axe 1: Attack: 18 Damage: 5
Axe 2: Attack: 13 Damage: 4
Axe 3: Attack: 16 Damage: 6
Axe 4: Attack: 14 Damage: 3
Axe 5: Attack: 14 Damage: 6
Axe 6: Attack: 5 Damage: 2
Attack 1: Attack: 23 Damage: 18
Attack 2: Attack: 15 Damage: 19
If that knocks out one of the axes, I'll use GWM to attack again as a bonus action
Attack 3: Attack: 15 Damage: 19
Three axes, including the one previously damage, are smashed out of the air by Ameera's great axe. They lie on the ground, their haft's split or cleaved in twain.
The remaining three circle and attack:
Axe 1: Attack: 19 Damage: 6
Axe 2: Attack: 15 Damage: 3
Axe 3: Attack: 8 Damage: 5
Attack 1: Attack: 17 Damage: 16
Attack 2: Attack: 15 Damage: 8
One axe is badly damaged but can still fly (1 hp left :) )
The three axes relentlessly attack:
Axe 1: Attack: 10 Damage: 9
Axe 2: Attack: 23 Damage: 4
Axe 3: Attack: 16 Damage: 6
Yselm looks on, she seems confident, despite Ameera's cold weather clothing being spotted and stained with her blood.
Attack 1: Attack: 26 Damage: 11
Attack 2: Attack: 18 Damage: 13
Perhaps tiring, Ameera's attacks all miss. The axes are untiring, and resume their attack:
Axe 1: Attack: 15 Damage: 9
Axe 2: Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Axe 3: Attack: 15 Damage: 7
Attack 1: Attack: 21 Damage: 11
Attack 2: Attack: 22 Damage: 12
Attack 3: Attack: 25 Damage: 10
The damaged axe takes another blow and goes flying into the wall where it's wooden handle flies apart. It drops to the floor. Two axes left.
Axe 1: Attack: 21 Damage: 4
Axe 2: Attack: 16 Damage: 3
Attack 1: Attack: 25 Damage: 13
Attack 1: Attack: 14 Damage: 8
One axe is badly damaged but its magic is still able to function:
Axe 1: Attack: 22 Damage: 4
Axe 2: Attack: 8 Damage: 5
Attack 1: Attack: 21 Damage: 19
Attack 2: Attack: 16 Damage: 12
Attack 3: Attack: 11 Damage: 14
The remaining two axes are smashed to the ground. Ameera takes a breather and lets the red rage leave her.
She looks into the chest and sees her prize - The Horn of the Great Tiger! She picks it up with two hands reverently, then works out how to fit it alongside her pack.

Pretty beat up so will drink my healing potion
Heal 45
Leave I guess...I'm expecting trouble from Harshnag though...
