Loran manages to make it through the poles only getting whacked one time, but is unable to land a hit.Attack: 18 Damage: 4

" pretty there Loran, you only took a minor hit. You did na' kill any bad guys,  but at least they didn't  kill you," he chuckles a bit.

" I believe Mr Luke is up ..."

Luke hops down off the fence where he was watching from and shyly takes out his 2 daggers "Oh I uhh, ok I will give it a try."

Gerty whistles as she watches Luke expertly dodge and attack the poles.  "Advantage going last, eh?  Kept an eye on how things worked?  Good plan!  That was impressive!!"

Luke kicks at the dirt "Thanks Gert. It must be all those dusty books I read about this Jones fella raiding temples and stuff"

"Eeeyouch... I am really not cut out for this adventuring stuff." Loran says, nursing his brand new bruise courtesy of Magnus. With a sigh, he makes his way back to the fence.

Magnus claps his hands, “ Well done, Well done young Luke. That was a great display of agility and attack. Ok, I think we are ready for the ranged attack dummies.”

He brings you all over to the poles in the middle. These ones are wearing shirts stuffed with straw and thin leather chest guard with a single white circle painted where the heart would be. There is one at 15 , 30, 100 and 300 yards.

” This exercise is pretty straightforward. Hit the target with your chosen distance weapon. The farthest target will be out of range for some of your weapons,  up you should try for it anyway…

( ensure you shoot at disadvantage for the shots too far. If any of you want proficiency in another ranged weapon, nows your chance. You can choose short bow, longbow or crossbow. Otherwise just use what you already have. The attack roll will determine if you hit and the dmg will be the points/ accuracy. You will get a bonus + accuracy for the 100 yard shot, + 10 for the 300 ) the ac for the targets is 10 for the 15 yard, 13 for the 30, 16 for the 100 and 18 for the 300)

You got to hit them all. Remember this is proficiency training. You will want practice hitting at all ranges. Post all the attacks in one post

Say Luke... what's your opinion 'bout those new guys?

Gerty swallows hard when she sees the next test set before them.  She has no experience in ranged weapons.  Since the ones that went before her used the long bow, she wasn't going to let them show her up, even if she had never touched one before.  What difference would that make?  She hadn't touched a shortbow either!  She steps up to the pile of weapons and picks up the longbow.  She sets herself in the marksman location and notches her first arrow....

Luke speaks quietly to Will “It’s hard to get a read on em. They aren’t like you and I always seeking adventure but I guess neither was Gert or Sasha. Maybe it’ll work out with em. What you thinking?”

I'm not sure.. let's see how it goes...  

What do you think Luke, shoud I try a short bow?

Loran Saunters over to the weapons and mulls over his options before pulling out a Light Crossbow and few Bolts. Fiddling with it as he looks it over. He loads a bolt and moves to the line to wait his turn. He'd seen one used before. In a book... How hard could it be?

Now that he thinks about it, if the other tests are anything to go by. Very... "Well I've made it this far. Might as well embarrass myself a bit more."
(Geeze im really blowin it with this dice roller.)
