Sasha keeps cheering on her friends, with a bit less enthusiasm for each new trial Magnus puts them through. She finally hops up to sit on the the fence, dreaming away to the dancing and drinking at the festival that is coming up.
Magnus congratulates everyone for a job well done, and as he reorganizes the weapon racks let’s you know you can use his training pit anytime you wish to become proficient in a new weapon type. the first of the sales will start soon so you all go back to the inn to clean up and change into regular clothing and head over to the Auction House.
Loran Saunters over to the weapons and mulls over his options before pulling out a Light Crossbow and few Bolts. Fiddling with it as he looks it over. He loads a bolt and moves to the line to wait his turn. He'd seen one used before. In a book... How hard could it be?
Now that he thinks about it, if the other tests are anything to go by. Very... "Well I've made it this far. Might as well embarrass myself a bit more." (Geeze im really blowin it with this dice roller.)
Sasha gives her friends a final tired applause before hopping off the fence and skipping over to Loran. "I'm sure you will be there for us when it counts Loran." She says softly, giving him a warm smile and laying an encouraging hand on his shoulder.
"Now, I didn't plan to sell off any of my family's sheep here in Longsaddle, but I suppose I could come with you to the Auction House." She says, turning to the others. "Maybe I will buy some more sheep here that I will sell in Mirabar for profit."She says with a sly smile, ready to head back to the inn
“That seems like a good idea - I gotta think the prices here will be a bit more competitive than Mirabar, but you’ll be able to sell more of ‘em. Might be worth it to hold off on sellin’ the whole lot. Good thinking” He grins at Sasha, then joins her in making their way back to the inn.
Once back at the inn, Aaron will put on a clean pair of leather slacks, linen tunic, and a cherry-dyed leather vest. He also take out a small tin of fats and runs it through his hair, styling it with a grooming brush. Once finished getting ready, he’s makes his way back out to the common room and wait for the others.
Luke walks along with the others chit chatting about the auction here vs Mirabar. He gets back to the inn and cleans up a bit. Washes his face and hand, brushes his hair so it's no longer a tangled mess, and puts on clean clothes. He heads down to the common room and sees the new guy Aaron waiting for everyone else. "Hello there. I'm Luke.....uhh in case you've forgotten. I'm a horse rancher. I train them, teach others to ride, and do other odds and ends jobs for the townfolk...pulling carts, going on cattle drives, but I uhh don't want to do it anymore. This adventuring business is my chance to do something really cool....I hope one day to see the inside of a ruin and look around for old stuff. What about you?"
"I don't have a mind for business so I will probably just keep it simple in the end."Sasha says to Aaron with a shy smile.
Sasha walks with Aaron and the others back to the inn, going up to her and Gerty's room to wash up a bit, trying futilely to fix her hopeless long curly dark hair, then going back down again, skipping down the stairs smiling widely as she sees Aaron and Luke already talking. "Does any of you gentlemen know where a girl could get a dress for tonight?" She says quickly, looking expectantly between Luke and Aaron.
"Not looking for anything that fancy really, but it would be nice to go in a new dress for once." Sasha says with a quick smile, looking at her own clothes.
“Luke, even though I was well into my night o’ drinking I remember your name.” He gives him a reassuring smile, “You got horses too, eh? Good lookin’. Ma and I do a bit of both horses and cattle, so I’ve brought both along with me today. Never thought adventuring would really be a realistic life for me but I gotta say, y’all have convinced me. Between the riches and the good stuff y’all done for Longsaddle, I feel I oughta join ya. Almost feel obligated, especially since the Biderboos are real. Can’t imagine if they were allowed to run rampant and terrorize the town folk.”
(Would Aaron being a local know of the place to buy a nice dress in Longsaddle?)
Loran listens to the others chatter as he follows along and quietly ponders his time in the pit. Would he even be able to pull his own weight in a real fight? Getting back to his room, Loran tries his best to clean and cheer himself up. Changing into an at least slightly cleaner set of battered old clothes with his same dirty well worn boots. Looking about as good as he cares to make himself. He makes his way downstairs to join the group.
Suddenly feeling a little underdressed as he spots Aaron's new attire. "Wow lookin sharp there Aaron. Quite a change up from last night."

For the festival , venders have come into the town from all over so there are booths as well as the normal shops available. Aaron thinks he may have seen a couple clothing vendors with pre-made dresses and shirts. It should be easy enough to find something nice. The evening festivities and dance will be held at the Ivy Mansion. One of the few times the Harpells have opened it up to the general public, so the excitement level is rapidly growing. Rikaria has gotten you all a reserved table inside where the musicians will be playing.
He chuckles, “Oh you mean this old getup? Ma said If I’m selling this year, I oughta look the part. She always said buyers like talking with well dressed folk - free leverage, and I ain’t one to argue with her wisdom. I’m sure y’all got enough coin now to get yourselves fancy outfits down at the festivals. They’re vendors from all over the realm - should be quite easy to find something that fits your style.” He puts his arms behind his head and leans back in his chair.
Gerty, exhilarated after their training session, heads back to the Inn to get ready herself. She brushes off the dust, tries to comb through her matted, thick, long hair. She checks out her shirt, and decides to change that, but that was about as good as it was going to get.
She heads down to the others talking about what they are selling in town and what they are taking with them to the festival. "I have a bunch of potatoes, I'm trying to decide what to try and sell here and what to take with us to Mirabar... I'm open to suggestions, this is all new to me."
"I think I'll visit those vendors after the auction then." Sasha says to Aaron with a smile. "Should we get going then, the auction is about to start, don't you think." She say to the others, getting up, ready to leave.

"Oh, I think I look fine enough not to spend money on some nice pants or whatever. Besides those fancy clothes make me feel all stuffy"

"Sounds good to me." Loran says with a lazy stretch, ready to follow along with the group to the auction.
