Sasha breathes a sigh of relief after gathering up her flock again, taking a seat by the campfire, starting to eat some bisquits and dried fruit for breakfast. "Team meeting? Okay." She says to Will with a shrug. "Do you think we should look into this banditry by bidderboo?"
Aaron approaches with the herded cattle, tying them to a tree nearby the fire. He takes a seat, looking to the others. "So this is what it is all about, yeah? This adventuring business. Protecting the innocent and serving up justice to those that would harm innocent folk?" He adjusts some crude bandaging covering one of the wounds he sustained in battle with the creature, "I certainly think we oughta root this stuff out. There's no tellin' who else'll get hurt if we don't do something about all this. We mighta just made them angrier and more aggressive, so I think we should finish the job. But at the same time, I think we need to finish our business with the livestock. They aren't made for this kind of business."
Yeah, I was just saying that I want to line my Rapier with silver. Casting spells is exhausting! That reminds me, those poor buggers that didn't survive the bandits...
William takes out the deed to the tin shop in Mirabar.
Seemed like they bought a tin shop. Maybe someone in Maribar knows them?
Luke nods in agreement with Aaron "Yes we need to finish this business first. Our families depend on these sales to survive the year. Then we can certainly go adventuring. I am pretty excited to adventure but I need to make sure my mom and dad have money to survive."
I suppose we must, yeah... It's going to take like forever tough... But we can do some things along the way, right? When we are in Maribar we can further investigate the tin shop.
Loran is as silent as the grave as he listens to everyone talk. Staring at the ground as he paces. Thinking. A scowl on his face as he takes stock of what just happened. 4 Men Lay dead in heaps just a short walk away. And the others seems Indifferent. More concerned about Vigilante Justice, Some Tin Shop and Silvering their Rapiers? Eventually Joining the group by the fire, he quietly takes a seat.
And he STILL doesn't even know what a Bidderboo is...

Luke watches Loran come over and sit with everyone "Are you ok Loran? This was your first skirmish? It's only my second....It's not easy for sure. I don't know about the others but I have to see the market job through. My family needs the money." Luke turns to the others more keen on adventuring now "Maybe those fopdoodles have something on them with some answers or clues. Did you check them out?"
Gerty cracks her first smile, "Did you say fopdoodle? Sure, I'll go check them out. And I agree with Luke, we need to finish the duty we have been sent out to do. Doesn't mean we can't keep our eye open for trouble along the way."
And with that, she gets up and checks out the bandits that have been slain.
"Yes, as much as I would like to set out right now to find those responsible for the bidderboo and the banditry someone would need to look after my flock of sheep."Sasha says, then getting up to join Gerty in examining the bodies of the bandits.
“So we finish our trip to Mirabar, then make our way back to finish up with this bandit problem? Seems like a good plan. And what’s this about silvering weapons? You think silver will make a difference? I thought that was for jewelry.”Aaron will get up with everyone but look for the handaxe he threw earlier instead of looting.
After looking over the bandit bodies, you find each has a small bag of copper and silver pieces approximately 100sp 200cp each. Along with a bone handled knife, 2 short swords of decent quality and a small carved bone hunk with the image of a wolf.
Sasha turns over her findings to Gerty as she clearly is the more responsible of the two. "No clues as to who these bandits were or who they might work for. I suppose we just have to leave this and return to investigate it further when we have finished our business in Mirabar."She says with a tired sigh as she returns to the campfire. "Hey, let me take a look at that." She says in a worried tone as she sits down by Aaron to look at the wound the bidderboo inflicted upon him. "I hope it's not infected or anything, we wouldn't want you to turn into a bidderboo now would we." She says with a smile and a wink. "The bidderboo is supposed to be harmed by silver Aaron, we learned that when we met one the day before yesterday. It seems like a long time ago now."She says as she tries to clean the wound with some water from her waterskin.
Aaron let’s Sasha look his wound over, “it ain’t so bad. I’ve had worse, trust me.” He gives her a reassuring smile. While she does that, he’ll take out a whetstone and start sharpening up his weapons, “Well, should we be off soon then?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I'm not sure everyone is fully rested yet Aaron." Sasha says, glancing over at Will tucking in again. "I should return to my vigil now, you go ahead and catch some more rest Aaron, I'll make sure no more bidderboos will harm you tonight."She says, laying her hand briefly on Aaron's thigh, smiling warmly at him before finding a position to watch the camp.
Luke watches Loran come over and sit with everyone "Are you ok Loran? This was your first skirmish? It's only my second....It's not easy for sure. I don't know about the others but I have to see the market job through. My family needs the money."
"Not Easy" is an understatement. This Adventuring stuff isn't anything like any story makes it out to be. But Luke is right. There's sheep to sell and road left to travel to Mirabar. "Yeah... You're right. I guess i thought... Well I don't know what i thought. Lets just get this job done eh?" Loran says giving him a little smile. "I'll be fine."
Loran heads back to his Sheepy resting place. And eventually manages to will himself back to sleep. This whole "Adventuring" thing isn't turning out to be too much fun...
Aaron will holster his axe on his hip after finishing up with sharpening it, then responses to Sasha, "I'll stay up with you - not sure I'll be able to get much sleep after all this. I feel... oddly energized. I do think I'll take these bandit's weapons if nobody else wants them. If I need to throw one of them, it'll be good to have a backup." Smiling slightly, he goes ahead and holsters two of the shortswords on his back as well.
Gerty happily hands over the weapons to Aaron and then attempts to get a little shuteye before they head back on the road. The Bidderboo, pup was it?, the fact it didn't turn back to human disturbed her... what was it?
