Loran wonders if he could convince himself to ever leave his home as he watches Luke and Aaron partake in their Gentleman's game. Absent mindedly playing with the coins in his hand, gently knocking against each other as he zones out. Feeling the buzz of an entire cup of ale as he dozes off a little.
(Im also about ready to move on when the time is right. Down to keep up tavern shenanigans until we're ready too though.)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
High Hopes, Low Rolls. Timezone Is EST. Surely THIS one will reach an ending...
"Hey, nice work! You figured that out pretty quick. Now, for the fun part - who's drinking that ale?" Aaron says, looking at Luke then the rest of the party.
"Oh well since you gave me the copper it would only be right to let you drink the ale eh A-A-ron" Unable to control himself he laughs at his own mispronunciation of Arron's name
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aaron shrugs, taking the half-pour, "Well.. if you insist. To good luck!" He raises the glass briefly before tipping it back, knocking it down in a few gulps, then placing the glass back on the table without much grace, then letting out a belch equally graceless. " Sheesh! Gettin' ahead of myself here. Suppose the festival is starting early this time around, eh?!" he says with a slight slur to his speech, following it up with a howling laugh.
You guys party and enjoy yourself for the evening. Eating drinking and getting to know your new friends. You all eventually make it to your rooms and into a deep, restful slumber.
the sunlight streams through your windows and the sounds of bustling activity and rooster calls welcome you to the morning. After a hearty breakfast of Ham steak and eggs along with a new potato side dish the server called hacked browns, you all make your way to the Six horns and Magnus’s training pit. The ones who have purchased armor are wearing it alongside their beautiful new weapons. The morning sunlight dances across the beautifully worked dwarven chainmail that Gerty is wearing. She truly looks like a warrior hero from the stories. Luke struggled a bit before leaving the inn trying to get the longbow strung. It is indeed a little bit of a trick and the draw weight is quite a bit heavier than on his short bow. He is very excited to take it for a whirl.
"Sorry everyone...took me longer than I thought with this new bow....it's a bit bigger than I am used to but once I start training at Mr.Magnus' I will mow down whatever gets in our way" Luke says a little too sure of himself
“ Good Morning young warriors, welcome back to Six Orn’s shop of destiny, the Pit awaits..”
Magnus greets you with a smile and open arms. He helps Gerty make a small adjustment on the mail shirt and tightens some straps on the boys studded leather. He then leads you to a large area out behind his shop. The area is like a large box filled with 12”s or more of sand. There are wooden posts all along the edges and at different intervals throughout the boxed in space. “ for a warm up, I will have you all work the pell. It’s a wooden striking post where you can train yer arms and legs for combat.”
He leads you to a row of poles wrapped in thick leather hide over iron bands.
( for this exercise you must roll 5 attacks and damage. The goal is to do 30 dmg. 1st to 30 wins this round. You can roll all 5 in the same post)
( pretty awesome rolls there…maybe I should have upped the Hp for the post..lol)
I forgot the AC for the post is 15.
William goes at the post with a flurry. The rapier seems to be a part of William’s soul as he strikes from many angles with slashes and thrusts. Dealing 34 dmg
“ Outstanding there William. Your ready to move on to the next set. Let’s see if anyone beats you out for the win..” Magnus says, truly impressed by Williams skill

Once Will has done his attempt, Gerty saunters up to her pole wearing her new armor and feeling the weight of it seems to give her new strength as well. She holds her greataxe in her hands testing the weight again, then holds it back and lets it swing..
He then passes it over to Luke, setting up a new half-pour in the center of the table, "Here - why don't you give it a shot?"

Luke takes the copper, sticks his tongue out in concentration, and bounces the copper across the table sinking it with ease. "Beginner's luck eh?"

"Hey, good shot Luke, now you have to choose someone that has to drink." Sasha says smiling, discreetly pointing a finger at Aaron.
