Gerty enters the room and can see several long tables setup. A line of three on the north side and a line of three on the south, with right in the center. There are 3 metallic pitchers on each of the outer tables, and 2 kegs on either end of the middle tables. The center tables are covered in tattered cloth the looks like it used to be curtains or something. A large pile of tin plates and surprisingly nice eating utensils sit next to the kegs. All around the room there are strings with dangling objects. All kinds of random things, pieces of broken tools, bones, feathers, and other things.
No goblins to be seen in this room. Going down the stairs William notices a thin string stretched out across the steps near the middle rung. the scent of food grows stronger here. You reckon it’s almost noon by now, and the scent Of whatever’s cooking smells delicious.
The scent could be coming from any direction as it fills the entire room. William looks over the kegs and can see a couple familiar labels belonging to some of the local farms. One says it contains Deepstone Lager fro Starmetal Hills brewery, the other is Elderberry Brandy, from ivy mansion distillery. It looks like these goblins know how to throw a party. You find it sort of shocking considering what you have always been told about goblins and their feral ways.
Rikaria moves carefully into the room with the others, listening behind them to see whether or not whatever was banging on the double doors sounds like it's going to break through.
Perception: 12
As she listens, she whispers to the others "If Gorf has escaped then we can count on him going to the other goblins and telling them where we are and WHAT we are... So that rules out sneaking up on them OR tricking them... And if whatever was through those doors manages to break through, we might be surrounded. We have no choice now but to push forward, hope we can overpower them, and hope we can avoid whatever THAT was long enough to escape..."
She looks around at the room at the tables, chairs and doors and comes to a realization that she'd been too preoccupied with the gravity of the situation before to notice. "This place is clearly more than just a cave beneath a well. This was something once. A fort or a hideout or something. And if 'bidderboos' or whatever they really are are able to get in and surprise the goblins, that must mean there are other entrances and exits. So we can still get out of here while avoiding that creature..."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sasha nods as Rika finishes. "We should still hurry though, right? Gerty pick a door you think will take us to the kitchen." She says, then listening for threats. Perception: 18
Rikaria nods in agreement with Sasha. "We need to hurry more than ever. Gerty, what do you think?"
Despite anything else Rikaria might be feeling, she has utter faith in Gerty. She channels that faith into guidance for her, and for the first time realizes that that's what she's doing.
(Gerty, ya got guidance for a perception or investigation check or whatever to figure out where the kitchen is!)
"Yes, we need to find that boy!" As Rikaria casts guidance on her, Gerty looks at the girl in astonishment and pauses what she is doing. Takes her half a second, then regains her composure. She heads over to the North door and takes a big sniff, trying to decide if this is the kitchen or not.

William carefully follows Gerty in. No signs of goblins?

Moving cautiously down the stairs and into the room Sasha tries to figure out which way to go to reach the kitchen.
Olfactory perception if needed: 9
Watch out guys! There's a string stretched across that step! That one there...
William points it out for the others. He will carefully walk to the southern tables (avoinding the hanging objects) can he check one of the kegs?

"Hey, good eyes you got there Will." Sasha says appreciatively, taking good care to not trip on the string as she moves down the stairs.

"One of you, head over to the other door and see if you can tell if its a kitchen or not."
The scent at the north door seems lessened, and seems like more air flow that way.
Sasha nods and moves over to the door, hoping to determine if it is the way to the kitchen.

Rikaria nods in ascent and moves to the door that isn't been checked by Gerty or Sasha. She takes a deep whiff.

(And what's going on back up the stairs with the double door, Dwar?)
( which door? There are 3 total. South or east?)
(If Gerty checked the north door, let's say Sasha checked the east door and Rikaria checked the south door.)
William joins Rikaria at the southern door.
So what happend in that room, Rika?
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
"I can't tell, Billy. Can you smell anything? My nose is still full'a that skeleton room, I think..."
Rikaria gives William guidance on a perception check to smell the southern door.
