Norros leads the way to Brumak. He clasps his hands behind his back.
"Feel free to call me Mr Blank, Brumak. I am a security consultant, and I specialize in assessment and upgrade, capable of providing training, and equipment of the most modern sort. As you can see, one of my team is demonstrating the latest and greatest in VIP protective wear, with features such as rapid don-doff, and subtlety options."
"But we can talk about that later. For now, I think security risk assessment may be your interest if the sentinels outside are any indication. You've thought of everything you can and spared no expense - why would you? Now allow us to put it to the test, and I promise you will not regret it "

Finn thanks the bartender and flashes him a smile before taking her glass and mingling more. The woman she’s looking for wouldn’t be a showgirl. They’d want to keep her much more low key and the science types generally don’t have showgirl skills either… She could have asked about people staying more hidden but that would likely raise some eyebrows and Finn didn’t want to draw suspicion quite yet.
Finn circles the first floor to get the layout, try to spot the guards and see if the vibe of the room seems even keel or on edge. She’d then make her way upstairs, debating internally between rejoining the party or checking out the table games… She tries to also get the lay of the land upstairs before making her decision.
Finn would need a stealth check to make it upstairs. Otherwise the guards will move in to intercept.
Brumak suspiciously eyes the party, but in the end agrees with Norros. "Hmm... alright let me give you a tour" she stands revealing her full height of 7 feet and easily hefts her greatsword. Brumak puts the gold coins in a floor safe and opens the door back into the lounge.
Finn what do you do? Rejoin the Group or stealth your way upstairs.

(My bad, thought party went to office upstairs. I see I misread though. No worries though…)
Finn pauses a few steps off from the staircase, curious why guards were posted there. Perhaps the poker was higher stakes than she expected and the players welcomed the inconvenience for the added security. Or there could be something of interest up there besides games of skill… Finn waits until she feels the guards are more focused on the other direction and makes her move towards the stairs…

If she is stopped she acts the confused gambler. “The bartender told me the poker was upstairs… If it’s a private game he really should have mentioned that! What kind of employees you have here anyway?”
Finn makes it upstairs unnoticed. There are gambling tables of all sorts, Poker, Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette. There are many people at the gambling tables. You hear a cheer as someone just won a hand of poker. There is a barred counter to redeem your winnings. There are several servers moving about serving drinks. You can sense the tension at the high stakes poker table as one of the gamblers wipes sweat off her forehead. You also see a fat man being dragged away for cheating. The guards has a hand clasp over his mouth so he cannot disturb the other clients.
There are 2 doors on the right side of the room. One labeled VIP and the other seems important as their are 2 guards standing next to the door.
Brumak begins the tour showing the layout of the lounge and then guiding everyone to another door. Upon entering the group sees several guards on break sipping coffee and chatting, They stop when Brumak enters and stands at attention. "Here is the guard room where you will find the locker room, bathroom, and break room for the guards."
With a high passive perception Thordahr noticed a red strand of hair stuck on one of the guards clothing, he also has a bandaged left hand as if injured recently. Soon afterwards a guard comes in whispers something to Brumak she then turns to the party "I am going to have to take care of an errand, take your time looking around. There are 2 rooms upstairs that you cannot enter without the bosses permission so stay clear of those doors"
The party is now more free to look around at your discretion.
Thordahr walks nonchalantly over to Norros and quietly tells her what he has discovered. "I would recommend having a chat using your charms to question the guard over there with the bandaged left hand. In addition, I also saw a sack with a Melbric Academy emblem on it in Brumak's office."

Norros nods and leads Thordahr over to the injured man. "Well, that's no good. What happened to your hand? Pardon me, I'm a security consultant Mr Brumak is entertaining hiring. Is this an off duty injury or something that happened here? No need to be shy, neither gets you in trouble. We know the guards here are quality, but we always look for gaps that we can help with. And for your trouble talking to us, my man will have a look at that hand to make sure it isn't infected. Do you have any in house mages that might take care of injuries? Always a good idea."

Finn studies the poker tables for a bit trying to get a sense of the stakes and the stacks in front of each player. She has a mind to get a seat at the lowest stakes table, if she can afford even that, and play the role of lookout over this floor. Not being fully established as a part of the rest of the party may give them an advantage later, or allow her to create a distraction when they most need it.
With that goal, and others, in mind Finn creates a psychic link between herself and Thordahr and Norros. Finn psychically quickly gives them a rundown of what's happening (We can mind talk to each other so long as we're within a mile of each other. This should last a few hours. It's great for private discussion!) as well as her plan to act like just a club goer and play lookout. The Psychic Whispers lasts 3 hours.
Psychic Whispers. You can establish telepathic communication between yourself and others—perfect for quiet infiltration. For a number of hours equal to the number rolled, the chosen creatures can speak telepathically with you, and you can speak telepathically with them. To send or receive a message (no action required), you and the other creature must be within 1 mile of each other. A creature can’t use this telepathy if it can’t speak any languages, and a creature can end the telepathic connection at any time (no action required). You and the creature don’t need to speak a common language to understand each other.
If Finn does get a seat at a table she'll occasionally psychically ask Norros to subtly see if they can get a peek at the other players cards and let her now... All information helps in poker :)
The guard looks at Norros. "Oh this is just a minor injury. I ran into a feisty ginger cat. We do have old Garm, but he is such cantankerous bastard that I didn't bother"
Finn makes her way to the low stakes poker table. The dealer is a heavy set dwarf with grey hair. He looks to Finn and and gestures at a tray of poker chips. "That will be 5 gold"
There are 3 other players at the table. A blonde elf bedecked with jewels, and elderly gentleman smoking a pipe, and a half orc guzzling ale.
Varlan continues to shadow Norros, quiet but vigilant as he watches over his boss. He uses the guise as guard to openly assess anyone and everyone nearby, looking out for threats, and peering instantly at any sudden movement (such as one of the forbidden doors opening).
To Finn he says, "Perhaps we can work out where these doors lead and find another way in -- from above or below?"
Finn takes her seat at the poker table and gives the dealer her buy in and accepts her chips. She then immediately starts chatting up the rest of the table. The more chatty and comfortable the players are the looser the game tends to be. If you can get everyone having a good time and being social they care less about if they are winning and loosing. Also, once you get them chatting you can steer the chatter in the direction you want... Like craziest thing they ever saw at this club and so on.
(Assuming Norros passes along the question since I can only link two people besides myself mentally...) "You got a plan how to do that?" Finn psychically asks. "My big idea is to create a brouhaha to get the attention of all the guards and everyone so you all could sneak in... But that only works if you all have a way through possibly locked doors?"

Thordahr continues to keep a watchful eye on during the tour to see if he notices anything else out of place or specifically looking for clues.
He knows that Ellis Moir was an archeologist affiliated with Melbric Academy as a professor, before she went on the run.
