Finn considers heading back into the casino to try and grab some loose chips… but she’s probably going to have to avoid this place for the foreseeable future anyway, so she’ll skedaddle while the skedaddling is good.
When he sees Finn escape as well, Varlan hurries to catch up with the rescued woman and Norros, wary of both pursuit and ambush. He smiles in recollection of Finn's efforts, then shakes his head, concerned at the lost lives, but they did the best they could. Probably should have set fire to the place, hard to argue with flames.
As they move forward he tries to position himself to protect the woman, as well as limit her options for escape. With a grin he turns to Norros, continuing the role he took on earlier, "Where to, boss?"
The party dips into a side alley. You see a rusted dumpster that might have been green at one time, but now is a brackish black. 2 cats saunter in on the windowsill of the ramshackle building. You can hear a couple arguing in one of the apartments above you. Clothes lines zig-zag above your heads.
"Anyone have any skills or spells for keeping someone hidden? If we can keep this halfling gal out of sight we might have a chance to getting back to the HQ. But I'd kind of like to have a chance to question her beforehand. Anyone know of a safehouse nearby?"says Thordahr hopefully.
Finn eyes the clothes lines and will snag whatever she sees hanging from them or those on adjacent alleys. She passes out the clothes almost randomly throwing whatever seems likely to fit yo that person. “Doesn’t matter if it matches or looks good, we just want to look different. And someone keep eyes on the sky, watch for gargoyles!”
Even as she says it she’s scanning the sky herself and signaling the others to follow her. “I know a place… may be dirty but beggars and choosers and such…”
Looking from Thordahr and back to their ward, Varlan tries to judge relative sizes.
"Do you think subterfuge might help? Thordahr could wear her cloak and carry the empty satchel, and head one way, while we go the other... it's hard to judge sizes, and if he moves fast, weaving in and out..."
Then he smiles, "Or perhaps enlist the aid of a local urchin?" The question is directed at Finn, who seems to know the area quite well.
"Its a good idea. I'm just not sure if I can pull it off. Unfortunately, subterfuge and disguise is not a class found at the temple, and although I understand the idea in principle, I'm not an expert in any sense of the word. But as far as hiring someone to dress up as our refugee sister and try to draw away some of the heat on us, that is an excellent idea. "
"How about it Finn? I'm not sure how familiar you are with the area, but it seems as if you at least understand how things operate in these types of neighborhoods. Where can we find someone that fits the bill?"
Street urchins are roaming the streets looking for any scraps of food they can steal. If you look around you can see them by food stalls. There is a food stall not to far from your current location.
Thordahr holds up a gold coin and makes a beckoning motion to one the urchins. "Are up for some easy gold 'lil one? Have you ever played hide and seek? If you put on these clothes and let my friend here disguise you a bit I'll give you this gold coin. Just walk around and if it looks like someone is following you, ditch 'em and hide. Do it for as long as you like then ditch the clothes anywhere. If any of your friends want to play they can get a gold coin as well."
Finn looks around and watches for a bit to try to get a sense of we’re being followed at all.
Perception: 10 All in all though, Finn is opposed to employing urchins for anything that could possibly put their lives in danger. We don’t want to use them as false leads lest anyone looking for us kills first, questions later.
Thordahr disengages from any nearby enemies and makes a run for it.
Thordahr escapes
Brumak looks around, but there are too many people in the way.
Alright Finn can also escape in the chaos of the patrons rushing outside.
That would be the end of combat.

Everyone has safely escaped.
Noah is a bit ahead of the rest, but you can make him out in the crowd as your familiar with him.

"We need to regroup. Hurry for home. Anyone familiar enough with this end of town to get us out of here without drawing too much attention?"
Norros looks for an alley to hide in. "That was a bit more explosive than I'd hoped."

Finn would know of a potential safe house. Its an abandoned Inn called the Jaded Sheep.

Finn sees pigeons, but no gargoyles in the skies
Remembering the bioculars, Varlan looks around the alley, "Any sign of the watchers we had before?" he asks.
Norros casts Invisibility on Ellis before we start for the Jaded Sheep

(Sure you can ask for the aid of a local urchin)

(( @Kaemgen: just checking RP here, but does this mean Finn says nothing, but ignores the request and starts looking around elsewhere? ))
