Sorry. No, she expresses what she knows and makes the argument for not involving urchins as decoys or such for safety concerns... Mostly hanging in a hospital waiting room for a couple of days so not as expressive and clear as usual... ((All good, planned surgery on brother but still never fun))
Varlan shrugs, a little surprised to see a chink in Finn's tough and scheming facade, "They wanted to question her. I doubt they will kill her now. Expecially if she is fleeing alone...." He frowns and turns to Thordahr, "One should be enogh, I think. More than one and she might be seen for what she is, or be attacked."
Finn shrugs and turns her back to it. “I’m not the boss of anyone… just sayin’ that a bunch of thugs may be upset when they re-kidnap a kid instead of who they’re looking for. They may get violent. They may want no witnesses. But you’re calling the shots so it’s your conscience…”
Finn otherwise is just paving around and ready to be moving again, no matter how reckless the plan. “We should keep moving,” she reminds all, eyes continually going up to the sky…
"Well... Anyone could've called a cab. That just seems like a poor way to avoid attention from someone with the resources to acquire gargoyles. Perhaps a more discreet route would be beneficial to all, and pay the urchin to take a cab ride."
Thordahr nods in agreement. "Let's do it. Ill send our urchin friend on her way in a cab, dressed appropriately, directly to the temple. I promise, no harm will come to her there. Also, Finn can you give us instructions on how to get to this safe house? Maybe it would be better for us to leave in groups of two or three, but stay in contact with Finn's telepathy trick? Or better to keep our strength combined and risk attracting attention as a bigger group?"
"The fastest ways won't work, it requires the right people knowing your face. The sneakiest ways... Well that requires some stealth and quiet, not ideal while half dragging a kidnap victim. But I can shorten the route, I think," Finn suggests, thinking as she talks. I'd suggest we stay as a group but not move as a group... No more than 2 or 3 in a clump, always keep within ten or fifteen feet. Pause once in a wile when the other groups don't, don't when they do, so we don't look like a moving formation of geese, eh?"
"I'll take lead. I still have contact with Norros and Thoradhr so they should each be in another group. Anything goes hinkey, holler. Mindwise... Or voice wise if the situation demands, I suppose..."
Still not loving the use of an Urchin as a decoy, Finn none the less does as she can to prepare the others on how best to move through the streets and to give them a rough idea of the route they'll be taking. "Already be ready for changes, but so long as we can communicate we should be good..." Once all is ready, Finn will indeed start leading the group to their destination.
Varlan notices a group of people seeming to be moving spread out, but in a coordinated fashion. It looks as if they are intently looking for something. They occasionally stop people to check against a piece of paper they have, before moving on.
Thordahr and Finn have a vague feeling they are being watched.
Varlan speaks urgently and in a low voice, "Multiple people, all looking for our friend it seems. We should get going." He moves in a direction that will lead them away from the people searching. "Hail a cab?" he asks.
(( @DM: is the scholar we rescued conscious, semi-conscious, or clearly drugged? I was unsure if they were injected by the Tabaxi. ))
Thordahr weaves carefully through the streets at apace away from the rest of the group when he gets the sense of being watched. Knowing better than to ignore such feelings, he sends a message to Fin telepathically asking if ~has she seen anything or if anyone else has either?~

(( So...use urchin for distraction and pile into a cab? ))
((Sure… Finn doesn’t love plan but not actively stopping it.))
Norros looks disapproving.

Varlan laughs out loud, then nods, speaking quietly. "Aye. An urchin in a cab would seem to satisfy both."
Thordahr nods in agreement. "Let's do it. Ill send our urchin friend on her way in a cab, dressed appropriately, directly to the temple. I promise, no harm will come to her there. Norros will lead pack 2, and whoever pairs up with him.

Varlan will continue to shadow Norros, especially if the rescued scholar is also with him.
The urchin with reddish brown hair happily takes the coin and hails a cab. "Thanks for the coin" she says as she bites it to maker sure its real.
Everyone please roll perception to see if you notice anyone following.

(Clearly drugged semi-conscious. She will need a bit of time to recuperate)
"Someone should carry our invisible friend," he adds.
