...But the grate is too heavy to budge.

"No no no no no," hisses Cradlefall as he slithers over to sit on the grate. "We don't trespass into this house and release prisoners."

Meanwhile, Matilda scrambles down to the ground outside the door, carrying the unconscious child. Will tries to climb down next: DC8 Acrobatics check: 20

"Goodbye," says Cradlefall, and releases a green, choking gas from its mouth. Ben: Make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 26 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. "Who's next?"

Roll initiative! We'll keep the initiative scores from Matilda's battle, and start at the top of the round:

Crash! Will comes right through the roof of the kitchen, leaving a gaping hole in the ceiling, taking another 4 bludgeoning damage and narrowly missing the girl. 

"What the...?" gasps Cradlefall.

Matilda did her best to stabilise the youngster, using materials from her weavers kit to staunch the wounds.

She loaded the concious and unconcious kids onto the owlbear and told him to take them back to Little Oak.

Ben:

”Keep working at it, Elkhorn,” encourages Ben through a coughing fit where he thankfully avoiding inhaling too much of Cradlefall’s poison.

Turning his attention to the beast, he says, “You really should get that checked out by a physician.  Your breath is horrible!” as he draws the tiny magic sword and steps up to Cradlefall, stabbing at his mocking face.

"Mr Dragon, I promise you being on our side is the better choice!" Titaani says desperately. "We don't have to fight!"

Matilda stabilizes the unconscious child and lays it upon the owlbear's back. You're not certain if the owlbear understands you, but with some quick words of direction from Matilda, the other children will guide it back along the fen and through the gully into the forest. You only hope they will find their way back to Little Oak, Tiny, Squirt, and the others.

Titaani pleads with Cradlefall to end the fight. "You're right... Let's all stop this and have a little chat until Granny arrives."

Will picks himself up and rushes over to the chained girl. "Mishka!..." He wrenches mightily at her chain – STR check: 9 – but cannot break it.

Elkhorn makes a well-aimed stab upward with the ladle, at Cradlefall's underside:
Ladle Attack: 16. Hit: 4 bludgeoning damage.
Cradlefall yelps and jumps in the air in surprise.

Ben stabs the little dragon in the eye. It shrieks with anger and pain.

Cradlefall hisses and snaps at Ben.
Bite Attack: 6. Hit: 4 piercing damage plus 6 poison damage.

Everyone may act, starting with Horatio!

After Horatio has taken his turn, Titaani will: 

Give up on trying to convince Cradlefall to come to her side. Instead, she changes tactics, and uses minor illusion to create the sound of Granny's voice outside. 

"Yes, Charm, you can kill my pet dragon and wear his scales as armour if you pay me well," Titaani makes Granny say. "How about...five children for the little wyrmling, hmm? Oh no, don't worry, I don't care about him at all. He's a useless little lizard anyway." 

Horatio takes a deep breath, then moves directly in front of the dragon. "Dragons are supposed to be ancient and wise, not housebroken pets with mommy issues!" He swings a quick left jab, then a right uppercut.

Attack 1: Unarmed Strike - 12 to hit, 7 damage

Attack 2: Unarmed Strike - 21 to hit, 5 damage

Horatio socks Cradlefall right in his green reptilian jaw. (The first swing misses.)

Hoping that the kids would be ok....at least they were out of the Hags house...Matilda wondered where the others and Will had gotten to.

She could hear voices from the kitchen and ran there and tried to open the door, " Ready to go?"

Ben:

Replying to Matilda, Ben says, “We still have two prisoners trapped here and the poisonous worm is attacking us.  Free someone if you can.”

Not knowing how much time they have before Nightshade arrives, Ben grabs the lever he shoved into the seam of the grate and pushes it with all his strength, hoping to break Elkhorn loose with effort fueled by the adrenaline of battle!

Ben tries to wrench the grate once again, with no luck.

Titaani manages to simulate Granny's voice so well that it sends chills down your spines, while definitely catching Cradlefall's attention.

Cradlefall, disgusted with the situation, disengages, spreads his wings, and flies through the door (ajar) to the north with a loud sigh.

Matilda ran in and went to work on the nearest lock with one of the kitchen knives, " Hags gonna be here very, very soon.".

3 Sleight of Hand ( Disadvantage)

"Yes!" Titaani punches the air happily. "He won't bother us again."

(when it's Titaani's turn, she will notice Matilda working on the locks, and realise what a good idea that is. She will try to have a go at picking the lock holding the girl down. Using her gloves, she will make an attempt: 10 (disadvantage))
