A little, gray-skinned girl wearing a pig mask and holding an oversized lollipop stands in the middle of the cupboard, silent and unmoving. Her body is encased in silk. Upon opening the cupboard door, a swarm of moths is released. They fill the air, making it hard to see for a moment, before settling on the lantern in the hallway with their friends. The girl slowly emerges from her silk cocoon. (Horatio recognizes her from a vision he saw in a mirror at the carnival.)
Horatio moves quickly between the group and the girl, his fists clenched. "You serve Granny, isn't that right?" His voice as calm and neutral as he can muster. "You use the Witchlight Carnival to lure children here?"
"Yes," she responds, vacantly. “I serve Granny, who made me what I am today." She pauses, standing silently and staring awkwardly at Horatio for a moment. “Children need work to keep them out of trouble. Those toys aren’t going to make themselves. Does she have a new task for me?”
The large, room-sized "cupboard" is filled with workshop supplies, boxes of junk, and other mundane bric-a-brac. It has no other exits.

Ben:
Sadness in his eyes, Ben asks, “Who were you before Granny molded you into your current form? Were you one of these unfortunate children, brought to this strange place and forced to work for her, never to see your home or family again?”

Matilda begins plowing through the boxes of junk. She finds a 1-inch-square painting of a sleeping elf and a vial of viscous liquid labeled “Fomorian spit. Do not drink!” but little else of note. The two groups of moths, she can see, have coalesced around the lantern in the hall; they have exited this room. "Light! Light!" Titaani can hear them cry joyously as they dance in the air around it.
"I met Granny when she came to collect grave dust from my cemetery, far away on the Material Plane. She brought me to Loomlurch and fed me bowls of carrion. She made me what I am today," she says evenly, unblinkingly staring at Ben. "My name is Sowpig. Does Granny have a new task for me? Who are you?" She stares silently.
Horatio swallows hard. "Hi, I'm Horatio, and this is Ben, Matilda and Titaani... oh yeah, and this is Will. Umm... look, I understand Granny brought you in... and kinda took care of you. But, your name shouldn't be Sowpig. Before that name... before you were in a cemetery, you had a different name. I'm sure of it. Can you remember what that was? Do you remember anything before the cemetery?"
”I hate to be rude, but we are in a bit of a hurry,” responds Ben to this being he now suspects to be some kind of undead. “We have no messages for you from Granny…Sorry to disturb you,” he adds, backing off and moving towards the end of the hallway.

Horatio sighs, frustration plain on his face. Then his eyes light up as if an idea came to mind. He shrugs as he says, "Well, I guess it was good to meet you then... could you please stop abducting children though? I realize granny may want it, but if you continue, someone powerful will eventually get very angry. You don't want granny to die, do you? You seem to care about her a lot... just a thought."
The party collects in the hallway, where the moths make it hard to see.
"Everyone dies," replies Sowpig. "Everyone decays. It's a lovely process." She follows you into the hallway. Mishka, holding one end of her broken chain in her hand, glowers at Sowpig. Elkhorn gives her a wide berth, holding his new spear at the ready.
He pops the unlocked door open. It leads to the room you had spied from a distance earlier.
Ten brightly painted structures resembling little wooden houses line the walls of this room. Each small house has a three-foot-high hinged door. All of the doors are open. A narrow staircase ascends the circular wall. Near the foot of the stairs is a painted wooden box three feet on a side. A crank protrudes from one side of it, causing it to resemble an oversized jack-in-the-box.

Ben:
"Up the stairs, I presume? Or through the far door?" asks Ben, moving along as Will leads the way. Somewhat disturbed that the dead girl is following them, he tries to think of what tactic might be useful in convincing her to go back to her room, if not just leaving the service of Granny altogether...

"The dormitory is at the top of the stairs," whispers Will, who seems relieved to see that the room – and all little wooden houses – seem to be unoccupied. "The sewing room is right there." He points to a doorway off a landing to the north, about halfway up.
Ben can't get a read on the strangely masked gray-skinned barefoot girl following them. He has no idea what might motivate her. Yet she continues to follow the party.

"Wait - hang on guys," Titaani pauses in the room before letting out a sharp whistle, trying to get the moths to follow her. "A massive, blinding swarm of critters might come in handy, y'know."

Keeping an eye on the creepy girl Matilda began searching through the cupboard.
" Where are the moths?"

"Before the cemetery was long ago, and unimportant. My existence here is most important," remarks the masked, gray-skinned girl in a flat tone.
Outside the cupboard room, Will still stands by the hallway's southern door, getting impatient. "We going or what?" he whispers in a sharp rasp.
" Yes! Lets go.", says Matilda dashing after Will with her new finds tucked into her pockets....
Horatio sighs, frustration plain on his face. Then his eyes light up as if an idea came to mind. Titaani gives the moths a frustrated look, annoyed that they basically just led her and the party into a trap.
"Let's open a different door," she says to Will, ignoring the grey skinned girl, assuming that Horatio has it covered.
