" Pud, drink your potion and get my sister back.  I need to make sure Ben and Horatio aren't killed by the dead girl, they won't be able to defend themselves if they are carrying that thing to the kitchen."

Matilda span back into the room with a regretful glance in Titaanis direction, she drew her blade and moved to the door of the room.....ready to lead the way when the two old men were ready.

Ben:

Working with Horatio, Ben carefully lifts the dollhouse with Horatio's help and follows Matilda towards where he hopes the kitchen is.

Titaani, terrified and unaware of the party's plans, picks a spot on the ground and casts thunderstep. A deafening blast of crackling purple energy emits from where she was, which Cradlefall will have to make a con save against. 

If he fails he will take the full 11 if he succeeds he only takes half. 

“I…okay I’ll try. But I dunno if can catch up. That thing flies fast.” 

Pud turns and bolts for the window. Just as he steps out onto the windowsill he’s shaken by the concussive blast from Titaani. His ears ring and he’s seeing stars.

(OOC: I’m holding my move to see how the Thunderstep plays out.)

Titaani vanishes, as a thunderous boom detonates in her place. Cradlefall: DC14 CON Save: 11. The peal of thunder makes the whole of Loomlurch vibrate, and its windows rattle. 

Ben and Horatio successfully lift the three-foot-tall dollhouse. They note that the dollhouse is fully enclosed, rather than being open at the back as a normal dollhouse would be. Its roof is hinged, like the lid of a toybox.

(Unseen by the others, Titaani appears at the shore of the sluggish river. Thirty feet away, she sees a rocking horse eyeing her, together with a restless tree.)

A four-inch-tall Skabatha Nightshade sticks her head out a window, a long nightcap upon her head. "Hey!" she shouts, barely four inches tall. "What do you apish buffoons think you're doing?"

Cradefall, furious and seriously injured, dives straight for Titaani. 

He exhales a green gas in a 15-foot cone toward the frightened gnome on the riverbank. Titaani: make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 27 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Ben:

After lifting the dollhouse with Horatio and getting at least some portion of the way towards the kitchen following Matilda, Ben hears the small voice from the window, though it is quickly drowned out by a thunderous boom outside!  

Seeing the construction of the dollhouse, he ignore the hag’s query and grips the top of firmly opposite the hinge, hoping to keep the currently tiny hag contained for a few more critical seconds, then continues to move as best he can after Matilda and towards the kitchen.

Matilda is moving at speed, holding doors open for the two men and dashing to towards the kitchen to open the oven...

Pud watches as Cradlefall dives and spews a cone of poison at someone or something just out of sight. Pud reaches for his enchanted dagger and flings it at the dragon. The dagger magically returns to Pud and he scampers back into the house and tries to catch up with the gang.

Action: ranged attack with enchanted dagger. To hit 17 (or 10 if disadvantage is required due to range.) For 6 piercing damage. 

Move: Pud full movement into the house in pursuit of the party. 

Horatio and Ben lug the large, heavy, and moldy dollhouse about halfway down the curving stairs. Downstairs, they can see a study of some sort. Tucked behind curtains of moss and ivy are numerous bookshelves bearing ancient tomes, and built into one of the bookcases is a tall oval mirror in a wooden frame. Flickering candlelight emanates from the eye sockets of a human skull resting on an open rolltop desk. A single exit leads southwest; its door is ajar.

"Stop this instant, you thieving little worm," cries miniature Granny at her abductors from her tiny dollhouse window, "before I turn you into one." She holds on for balance as the two men heft the house down the staircase. "You have five seconds to put me down." 

From the balcony, Pud whips his strange dagger, but he finds the distance slightly too challenging (at about 50', it's still at disadvantage.) It returns to his hand without striking its target. Pud turns and races inside to the top of the stairs. Matilda squeezes by all of them and manages to get to the bottom of the stairs first.

Will hops into the window, only to hop right back out again and to the edge of the log, preparing to come to Titaani's rescue if he can (or at least find a good vantage point to watch.)

As the wounded wyrmling prepares to eat her, Titaani may act next. 

Tiny Granny's eyes drill into Horatio. "Five... four... three..."

Meanwhile, Cradefall goes for Titaani, death and hatred in his green eyes. (Recharge: 5)

Titaani may act.
Anyone inside dealing with Granny and her dollhouse may act. Ben and Horatio are about halfway down the stairs with it, and Matilda is at the bottom, leading the way. The study appears unoccupied, the exit toward the kitchen ajar.

Ben:

Trying to ignore the hag and keep the lid tightly on the dollhouse, Ben races down the steps and behind Matilda, trying to get a good enough grip that if Horatio drops his end, Ben can still stumble forward the last bit into the kitchen and thrust the dollhouse and Hag wholesale into the oven!

Matilda runs to the SE exit and throws the door open trying desperately to remember the outlay of the house and already knowing that they are not likely to make it......Titaani is probably already dead, Will and Pud she can't see....and Granny is about to kill her and the two old men.

At least they got the kids out.....

Titaani stumbles back, whispering a prayer to Titania in a terrified voice. "My queen, my patron, please..." 

As she speaks, her plea turns into arcane words and she throws up a minor illusion of a wall that shelters her from danger. 

Matilda races forward into the empty kitchen. Sickly-sweet vapors emerge from a fuming cauldron that rests atop the large clay oven. It has a five-foot-wide iron door in the front, and looks extremely hot. A rag nearby looks like it could be used to open the oven door; there are also some dirty spoons, cups, and ladles within easy reach.

Horatio and Ben lug the dollhouse as far as the kitchen door. (It'll take another round of dashing, and then a second round of regular movement to reach it.) Pud follows.

"Three... Two... Why are you stealing an old woman's home, human? Are you bored? Allied with some fiend? Or just evil?" continues Granny, addressing Horatio. "One..."

Meanwhile, Titaani puts up an illusory wall between herself in Cradlefall. The wyrmling pauses, examining it skeptically (while wasting an opportunity to attack). DC14 INT check: 22.
"Don't play with me, child," it hisses.

Standing atop Loomlurch. Will just points at the little dragon. It crumples into the muddy meadow, dead asleep.

Ben:

Fully committed to this course of action, Ben does his best to ignore the hag’s words and hustles towards the oven, still holding the lid of the dollhouse tightly closed as he goes!

Pud shivers at Granny’s countdown, unsure of what’s to follow. He makes a desperate attempt to distract her and casts the spell message and attempts to speak with granny. 

“Ms. Nightshade. This is Pud. Don’t worry, I’ve tricked them. I have them right we we want them. I’m leading them to Cradlefall.”

Matilda grabs the cloth and yanks the oven door open not being overly careful about getting burnt on the hot metal.

She sends up a prayer to whatever unicorns are listening that at least her sister Titaani is alright.
