Horatio pulls out his tools. (Yes - make a strength check and add your proficiency modifier to it.)
Meanwhile, the tree goes to intercept Titaani as she starts to climb the side of the massive log. Its massive boughs try to grapple her. Titaani: make a contesting Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (your choice). The DC is16.
Pud stands back watching the guys struggle. “Come on guys! You got this!” He chuckles at the sight. “If that don’t work maybe try peeping in the window? See if there’s anything worth the effort. I’m gonna go outside and check on Matilda.”
Pud heads out the side door towards the patch of redcaps. He calls out “Matilda! You out here?”
Once Pud spots her he’ll climb up the side of the log house and join her.
Titaani deftly slips out of the grasp of the huge tree and clambers out of reach up the massive log to join Matilda and Will. Cradlefall begins to awaken, sitting up in a confusion.
Meanwhile, Horatio and Ben get nowhere in trying to open the dollhouse. It seems magically sealed. Tools and brute strength evidently will not open this thing.
A crooked grin crosses Horatio's face. "How much you wanna bet this dollhouse is super important to that evil witch? If we can't crack it open, then lets burn the damned thing!"
As he says it, he looks directly at the face in the fire. "Waddya say fire, can you destroy that Hag's magic dollhouse if we feed it to you?"

Ben:
Looking inside the dollhouse first for anything important, Ben will try to fish out anything that seems useful…or maybe just shake it loose and out one of the windows. When he is done, Ben hands the dollhouse to Horatio to do with it what he will, though he does detect for any unusual auras first.

Horatio gets no response from the crackling fire within the open stove. The fire's eyes are coal-black; it stares back silently. The heat coming out of the oven is intense.
Ben picks up nothing with his divine senses; neither inside nor outside the dollhouse or oven. But there are some things rattling around the inside of the dollhouse. There is loose dollhouse furniture downstairs, some of which Ben can touch with a finger but not grab or extract, and a variety of things in the attic, including something small, round, and heavy which rolls noisily. Peering in the attic window, Ben can see a pair of slippers, a small book, a strange tool, and hints of other items. The heavy rolling thing reveals itself to be a false eye, probably made of gold. But the problem of removing them from the attic remains.
Pud, Matilda, Titaani, and Will regroup atop the giant log. The awakened tree reaches for them unsuccessfully with its huge boughs. Cradefall takes flight, and takes in the scene. "Are you stuck up there?" He flies up and over the log house, descending on the other side, trapping the group between the grasping tree on the west side, and the flying wyrmling on the east. (To the north is the two-windowed balcony which accesses the aviary and bedroom.)
"There are items inside which may be of use if they are returned to normal size," says Ben, setting the dollhouse down. "Hey, do you think the others are okay? There are still some of the hag's forces outside, right?" Ben says, moving towards the bedroom stairs to see what might be going on.

Matilda regards Cradlefall with pity, "Go away and grow some more, none of us are afraid of you and between us we could make a quick end of you. Better to find a nice cave somewhere to grow big and then come back and eat all of us."

(Ahem...)
"There are some items in the attic already of normal size--they may indeed be the hag's prized possessions and likely worth investigating," corrects Ben, "Though I have no magic to open the latch of this dollhouse attic, and most of the items seem too large to fit out of the window."

Cradlefall maintains its position in the air, a relatively safe distance away (say, 35 feet or so, and maybe 25 feet off the ground.) It looks wounded, and in pain, and still groggy from its recent arcane sleep.
"Yes, yes," it responds weakly. "You won't make much of a mouthful." It retreats an additional 20 feet.

Once he see's that Titaani is safe and sound, Pud will use the cantrip Message to send word to Ben and Horatio.
