Taking a closer look at the wooden wedge, Ben says, "While the inclined plane can have many uses, it appears that this one in particular is primarily used to hold open a door."
Bowing, he adds, "Thank you for your hospitality and directions. My friend is right, our time grows short and we need to go help Lamorna."
Looking at Matlida, he asks, "Does everyone have their unicorn disguises? The magic will not otherwise let us pass."

Horatio offers to quickly widdle some sticks if anyone needs horns. While making his own, he adds to the conversation, "If I had to pick, I think the wooden wedge would make a fine exercise bench for mice. I work with wood, and most anything can be used for something it wasn't designed. It just takes imagination."
All three pixies light up and giggle with delight at Matilda's suggestion. "Geometrical vampires! That's a good one. Certainly must be true!" Grinning, Cobweb mimics stabbing Toadhop in the chest with the wooden wedge.
"Here," adds Hemlock as you prepare to leave. She hands Matilda a reed whistle. "Blow this if you need us."
The journey to Wayward Pool is uneventful, if circuitous. Following the pixies' instructions, you hike through the multicolored forest to a massive boulder sunken between trees, and from there a hard turn down a gentle slope toward the lake, which reveals itself by its sparkles glimming through the fat leaves of the fey woods. Everyone affixes horns to their heads, as required by the regional magic.
For the third time, members of the party swim out across the misty lake. The waters, while not in themselves technically healing, nonetheless feel refreshing, invigorating, and purifying.
For the third time, you ignite the bowl of coals on the lake’s rocky central island.
And for the third time Lamorna appears, silently, on the shore.
"Hello, friends," she says. "What new news do you bring?"
Towing the rocking horse over to shore near Lamorna (if necessary—I think we left it on the island), Ben says, “We have made some progress in our struggle against the Hag coven. Before we go into detail, though, I believe Titaani has something for you.”
Bowing to the majestic unicorn, Ben looks at Titaani, silently encouraging her to return Eldion’s horn to his mate.

Pud stands back silently, fiddling with the position of his wooden horn that Horatio made him. Normally he couldn't care less how he looks, but there's something about being in the presence of this majestic beast that makes him somewhat self conscious of his appearance.

"I do!" Titaani beams, holding up the unicorn horn triumphantly. "We have defeated all the hags, and reclaimed this for you! Now you can fix your husband!"
Ben finds the hornless rocking horse more-or-less where he left it on the island, now a cozy grove of freshly blossomed flowers. It has been well-cared for; the peeling paint covering its limbs has been carefully excised, and its rocker cleaned of the moss that once covered it. The rictus grin once painted on its face has been removed. He tows it back to the shore to meet Lamorna.
Lamorna is overcome with emotion at the sight of the horn. "Go ahead," she finally instructs Titaani, uncertainly.
Upon touching the horn to the socket, the rocking horse instantly transforms into a flesh-and-blood unicorn. He gasps for air, and looks around in bewilderment. Lamorna cries out with emotion and nuzzles him affectionately. "Elidon!"
Elidon appears to be fully healthy. "The curse... is broken! Thank you to whoever did this." He looks around at the party, confused and relieved. "Thank you!"
A touching reunion ensues.
Finally, Lamorna thanks the party. "...You have restored Elidon. You say you defeated all the hags. This world is still broken, but now perhaps we have a chance at healing it. Any word of Zybilna?"
The gratefulness of the unicorns is palpable, even magical. You each receive a Charm of Heroism, which you may use once, anytime in the future. (This charm allows you to give yourself the benefit of a potion of heroism as an action. Once you do so, the charm vanishes from you.)
"By the way, I have some things that belong to you," adds Lamorna. She shakes her mane, and an otter appears on the lake surface, swimming furiously, wearing a backpack. Climbing out onto the beach, the otter produces three items with its tiny paws, handing them to whomever takes them:
- A pair of embroidered velvet slippers that look like they may have some monetary value. - A cracked hand mirror with a gaudy, bejeweled handle and frame. Even in its broken state, it looks somewhat valuable as well. - An oddly twisted bluish-black screwdriver, carved with runes.
"These were all inside that dollhouse. The other items – foul things – and the hag's dollhouse itself, we had destroyed. But we saved these items for you," she continues.
Finally, Elidon speaks again. "If the hags are gone, it is high time to find Zyblina and reclaim the Palace of Heart’s Desire before worse things seize it. I warn you, though – The League of Malevolence is still out there. But I think the time is now to strike."
"I can get you there, and I can probably keep you hidden for a short while. Do you think you ready to finish this, to restore Prismeer, to find Zyblina or learn her fate?" he asks.
Quite relieved that the transformation worked, Ben joins in the celebration.
After a few moments he says, “Bavlorna was killed as far as we could tell, her body decomposing into slime after our attacks. Skabatha fled but her home and dollhouse are destroyed. Endelyn was blasted into nothingness by her lightning machine. They are defeated, yes, but I know not if their magic can bring them back to vex us once again.”
Turning to the others, he asks, “Is there anything else we need to do before heading to the palace?”
Horatio asks the Unicorns, "Will no one from the three realms of Prismeer rally with us? We are outsiders risking our lives. Can you two convince natives to do the same before we go?"
After some thinking, he walks over to Matilda and leans in close, but not awkwardly close.
“Whaddya think about showing them your little brother? They might be able to help.”
" Oh! Yeah!", Matilda took out the globe/sphere thing containing her brother and held it out to the unicorns, " Do you know how to get my brother out?"
