Pag turns to the group, "By the look of things, I suggest we head south along the coast. We need to head in that direction anyway to get o Hyrule. But what about supplies? Does anyone have water, rations, a tent or even a sleeping roll? I didn't exactly pack for an expedition, by land or by sea, when I jumped over board to escape my ship sinking. I'm exhausted, hungry, and desperate for some coffee. **** it, ale at this point. But we might have to travel for a while before we find place that is not smashed to pieces." In the meantime, Pag keeps his eye out for Reble, his first mate. They got separated trying to make it to shore.
Malenia softly leans against a piece of debris, thinking over the choices made to them. Striking a particular idea from her forethoughts, she looked to pag. "I've enough to get me for a day or so but not enough for such a group over what would be many days travel. We will need supplies, Is anyone familiar enough with the city to suggest a place we could look for such things?"
Ventris shakes his head. "Unfortunately, I have only been here for a few days, and my ration supply is dwindling." Ventris looks for anywhere of note that doesn't seem destroyed.
"I only arrived recently so I'm no help when it comes to the city. As for supplies?" Cinder looks through her bags. "I have enough to last me a little over a week. I had planned to restock on rations and supplies here, but then this happened" she says gesturing around them.
Pag says to Malenia, "I doubt there is much left in the city for sale. Or else the refugees might need whatever is there. I suggest we head south and southwest along the coast. I can improvise some fishing tackle. We can scavenge for wood for a fire. We should come across an undamaged village before too long or a boat to take us out to sea."
Stasolya looks sadly at the wreckage of the city. "The false promises of the forces of Chaos can be seen in front of us. They said they would spare the city if they got the Princess, but have they? Treacherous creatures!" She nods to Pag. "We must certainly not take anything for ourselves when the people here are struggling to survive. If we must make haste, we can forage on the way. I have all of my belongings with me already. I do not have food, but I can graze if I need to."
Atreyu seems...lost. Not derelict, but simply without a way to cope with what has happened. He staggers amongst the wreckage for a little bit as he listens to the conversation going on behind him. At one point he becomes animated and leans into to flip a board off of someone..****y to frown and lean back when he realizes it's too late for them.
"I wondered for a long time how Bavmorda thought she could be a threat to anyone." He said finally, wiping the back of his arm across his forehead. "I guess now I know."
He turned, slowly heading south then, following along the debris washed ashore, his feet sloshing in the receding waters. There is a cry far into the city on their right, back inland, as someone deals with the emotional impact of what has happened.
Moving along the coast reveals the extent of the damage. Inland, only the walled section of the city seems to have been damage; The Docks, Pigrow, the Trade District, and even Newood and Chalk Forge took the brunt of the damage, while what they can see of Rain Field reveals that this section of the town is much more intact. Still, the gates are now open, and people are filing in like a small army, doing what they can to help their townfolk after the attack by the Kraken.
Most of the boats they encounter are sailing (or rowing) north, toward the docks; it doesn't seem like any of them are staying docked at at any of the docks or marinas they encounter along the way. The few that are left are damaged, battered against their tie-offs during the storm or, in some cases, even swept inland and deposited on dry ground.
Atreyu finally stops, sitting down on a crate that has washed in from along the beach.
"The Khun have called for Falkor." He says, partly to the group, and partly like he's thinking out loud. "He's probably half a world away. We can be to the Goron Range in two weeks, give or take, and there are a few small fishing villages between here and there I imagine. Maybe you lot can find a boat. Maybe by then Falkor will know where to go. I wish we were closer to Death Mountain, but that's too far out of the way and too close to the lair of the Gmork...but I bet he's tracking the Order of the Phoenix by now, anyway."
As the party passes through Rain Field, Pag looks for a store selling a Gelfling sized bedroll and some basic rations. He doesn't want to deprive the local refugees, but he also hasn't eaten anything the entire day. He also keeps scanning the shore and horizon for an appropriate ship.
Cinder will keep an eye out for anything that looks like it could be used for transportation as they make their way through the city. She will also keep an eye out for someplace to buy camping gear and rations.
Malenia would be one of the folk leading the group as they venture along the coast, she had passed this way fairly recently on her way to Argos. She is sparing along her own rations, not knowing when she will have the chance to get more. "The Order of the Phoenix?" Malenia is more than curious about this Order of which Atreyu speaks, never having heard of it before. "What exactly is the Order?"

As the party walks along the coast of Rain Field, Pag sees a heavily damaged ship that has washed up on shore. Using in Gelfling ingenuity and Sifa clan knowledge, he cuts from the sail a piece large enough to fashion a tent. He scavenges a wood piece to hold it up, ropes and spikes to tighten it. He carves another piece of wood and a string into a serviceable fishing rod.
The heroes had made their way along the coast for nearly a week before they came to the little harbor town, following the road out of the western side of Argos and heading along the southern short of the Gerudo Desert toward the Goron Mountains. The desert, though hot, was calm, save for a handful of refugees who had decided to flee south from Argo toward Japitter, so they didn't encounter any resistance or any highwaymen on the road.
Japitter was quiet itself. The town was going about its daily life when they arrived. People were hauling baskets of freshly shipped supplies into the Harbour Quarter of the town. Fish, shrimp, fruits from other regions and, sometimes, other continents, as well as tapestries and textiles. Bundles of wheat and hay were carried up from the docks, lumber, and livestock led on ropes. Hammers ring from the northern end of town as black smoke rolls from the various smithies functioning there, and many, many boats were docked down by the water.
Atreyu hadn't led the procession; rather, he accompanied them, making the trek with them and talking along the way and looking, and acting as well, very naked without his AURYN Medallion. He had expressed concern about being unable to talk to the Ivory Tower, or to return to the Empress's side, but seemed to be recovered well from the crash he had been involved in with his pegasus. As the heroes learned, the pegasus had not been named Artax; rather, upon being revived on the ground in Argos, he had thought he was reliving some traumatic event in the Swamp of Sadness he had survived years ago. He didn't seem to want to discuss it any further.
Malenia leaves the group, telling them of her intent to inquire at the docks about perhaps renting or purchasing a small boat that could carry them along the coast as they traveled. Once she leaves them, she makes one quick stop. Making sure she is concealed and in a private location, She takes off her prosthesis to view the current status of her affliction. Determining if it still progressing of if it has stalled for the moment. Once done she heads to the docks to ask the first person she can see who is currently by or near a small boat about chartering it.
Pag suggests that Stasolya gives the AURYN medallion back to Atreyu. He also asks some of the locals in Jappiter about taking a ship south and whether they were affected by the Kraken attack.
Cinder asks around about horses or other mounta for sale or rent while the others ask about the ship. She will also ask around about any sighting of the kraken or the fish ment that were seen in Argos.
Cinder returns to the group after asking around about horses. "They have horses and other mounts here but probably out of our price range. Unless someone here has like 50 gold just laying around for horses. Any luck with a ship?"
Malenia returns nearly at the same time as Cinder, scratching the back of her head. "Cheapest boat is 50 gold, The Captain can drop us at a small port outside Hyrule castle or make a voyage to kings landing. I dont know about you folk but I dont have that Kind've coin." Malenia Is willing to make the trek by foot but is a little wary about spending so long traveling in the open.

Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny
No one in the town seems prepared to give the new comers any handouts as the band moves about Jappiter looking for mounts, boats...transportation in general. Atreyu, frustrated with this stalling by the locals, separates himself from the group, promising to return when he's come up with...something. Anything. Any chance he can find to figure out a way to get them south.
It doesn't take him long to return even more pissed off to converse with the rest of the group.
"It seems they're actually afraid of the Ivory Tower and AURYN here." He says, looking around as he addresses his traveling companions. "I tried muscling it around to change things for us but...I guess they're so afraid with Ganondorf's fast rise to power that they won't dare assist his enemies. Or perceived enemies, anyway. But I've heard a rumor they may need someone to do a job for them. It's less than ideal, but it's the best answer I have."
Stasolya looks alarmed at this news, but it explains the difficulty they've been having. "Enemies of the Ivory Tower!" she says sadly. "The poor souls. Fear is a tyrannical master. What is this job that might need doing? Perhaps we can help."
There is a moment where Atreyu begins to speak...and then the shudder happens. The whole world feels like, for a moment at least, it could fly apart, deatomize into its particles and be gone forever...and then the event ends. The young man is stunned as he looks about, unsure of what to do next, torn between Stasolya's question and the event.
"Something isn't right." He said, getting a worried look on his face. "Someone...Blix. Blix has used the Alicorn."
Atreyu seems to hold there for a moment, his forehead bunched in thought.
"The Empress said it'd feel like that when it finally happened. That's how we'd know."
Another pause, another drawn out thought.
"There's a Kruthik nest out in the sands." Atreyu finally says, regaining his composure. He points north, past the town, toward the dunes of the Gerudo Desert. "They're asking for someone to clear it out. The Mayor, well, I think he's the Mayor, said that there'd be a cash reward, and probably transportation involved too. As for me...I don't believe I'll be going much further with you. Stasolya...may I see the AURYN?"
