Lelith's features twisted into an exasperated expression as the massive construct came into view, its six-legged form and menacing laser turret a grim reminder of the challenges they faced. She recognized these menacing machines all too well; they were Guardians, formidable constructs that had caused her no small amount of trouble in the past.
Her voice carried a mix of annoyance as she addressed the team, "Guardians. T'is just what we needed." Lelith had tangled with one of these before back when the Twilight Embers were more than just embers in her memory, and that recollection was far from pleasant. It had been a close encounter, the Guardian's defenses and relentless firepower had nearly overwhelmed her, though as always she came out on top.
"They're incredibly tough," she warned, her gaze locked on the approaching threat. "Their primary weakness is that big red eye on their body. If you can target it, you might disable them temporarily." She paused, recalling the devastating energy beams that the Guardians unleashed from their ocular weaponry. "But be careful; they can fire back with powerful energy blasts. As it just demonstrated..."
With remarkable speed and precision, Lelith swiftly drew two arrows from her quiver and expertly nocked them onto her bowstring. She had only one target. Its eye.
Zelda's eyes open wide as she watches how quickly things turn to violence. She raises one hand, preparing to get off some sort of magical attack, and then thinks twice about it, instead reining Kazu around and darting out of the way while the professionals handled things. She and the Kocra went between two nearby houses.
The laser fires, and then hits Thea's Shield as it shimmers into existence. The shield turns the attack back at the Guardian, and the laser slams into the joint where one of the constructs legs meets its body. There's a fiery explosion, but the Guardian remains upright and in the fight.
Lelith's first arrow hits the side of the turret the laser is mounted in and glances off, slipping harmlessly off into the city. The second arrow, however, nailed the eye, and sparks showered in all directions as the eye spun around and away from the band for the moment...
The other two infantry moved forward, halberds ready as they formed a line in front of their heavier weapon...
“We can leave?” Judal quips as as he spies Zelda and the Kazu depart the field of battle. “Is that just a birds and children thing or…?”
“Ahh, screw it,” he spits more serious as the situation quickly develops into no laughing matter. Even for him. Taking his cue from Lelith, at least to start the battle, Judal flashes out his hand pointing at the red eye she had just targeted and unleashed a pair of Eldritch Blasts at the same spot she hit.
EBlast 1: 15 for 9 damage
EBlast 2: 25 for 5 damage
Finding his attacks to be less then effective Judal decides that perhaps his best use is tying up the infantry instead so the others can focus on the eye. Judal moves to engage the horned fiends, or at least the lead.
((Not sure on distances. If Judal can get into melee with just normal movement he does so and drops Hex on the nearest one. If they are more than 30ft away he will instead use Misty Step and movement to get between the two lead fiends to try to engage them both?))
“Eep!” Thea squeaks when the laser fires and she realizes she was too distracted to move quick enough. Her eyes close tight, bracing herself for impact, but it never comes. At the sound of the explosion, she peaks with one eye, then both. She pats herself down as she comes to realize the laser was redirected. But how!?

Thea looks to her left, then her right, then pauses before looking up, almost cross eyed at her horn. “Thank you.” She blurts, seemingly to herself.
Closing her eyes again, Thea takes in a steadying breath as she feels herself vibrating with a mix of excitement and adrenaline. She gathers herself enough to start a quiet melody, humming softly before speaking melodic words that carry over the space. “Hwe so hwul sei co.” The casted light expands, blanketing those around her with a kiss of its warmth.
Casting Bless lvl 3 on: JudaL, Malenia, Lelith, Riair and, assuming that’s everyone covered, then herself
To avoid another close call, Thea looks to tuck herself behind some cover. She hopes to find a spot where she can keep an eye on the Princess to ease the mind of Malenia (so she can focus) while also being within range to assist those in close combat.
Judal's first Eldritch Blast sails harmlessly into the distance as it misses the Guardian's eye, but the second nails it, and there is a huge explosion. The Guardian takes a step back, still making the deep booming alarm sound as it does so. As he closes the distance with the first fiend and drops Hex on it, the other two look ready to fight.
While the grounded Guardian takes a moment to gather its composure, its flying compatriot moves into range, its light settling on Judal the second before it fire's a laser, sweeping it back from Judal to Malenia...
Kazu squawks from the cover between the two houses...
The Emerald hues of Malenia follows the path of Kazu and Zelda, Gritting her teeth as the child moves to cover. A small tinge of relief visible on her shoulders once Thea moves to keep watch on the pair. Diverting her attention back to the situation at hand just in time to side step the sweeping laser, Although the odor of singed hair fills her nostrils, a small strand of her crimson locks being burned off in the process. Planting her feet firmly into the dirt, In a blanding flash of Amber and Crimson; Malenia barrels towards the closest fiend with both of her weapons humming through the air. Positioning herself as the Frontline, Attempting to prevent the enemy from advancing any closer towards Princess Zelda.
Once both weapons cleave through the air, She twists on her back foot to propel herself into the air, Twisting while delivering two thrusting kicks towards the same fiend. Settling down in a wide stance once she lands.

Malenia's lightsabers cut horrendous injuries into the first of the fiends before her kicks catch it in the face. It's head cracks backward as it sways on its feet, stunned.
The fiend to its right steps out and attacks with its halberd, catching her once, but missing the second swing...
"I would advise you to be careful, my fine Summer compatriot. Watch your head!" says the wizard cheerfully, right as he hurls a great ball of ice into the middle of the fighting.
Familiar will turn off the spell effect blocking Cube of Force Riair casts Iceball from the staff of power, then moves back 30 ft. (37 cold damage on failed save, half on success)
The Jedi, recoiling from the vicious slash of the fiends halberd. Her normally stoic, sharp features grit in pain. Hears the warning of Riair and without a moments hesitation, Raises a foot to step off the same halberd as the fiend misses it's second strike. Using with the added leverage she propels herself into the air, Pirouetteing into the air. Completely avoiding the barrage of ice sent forth by the magic caster before deftly landing back onto the ground in the exact same position.
"Thanks for the Warning" The usual calm tenor of Malenia seep's out as she faces down the frontline of the attacking enemy.

The Iceball sails into the midst of the infantry and nails the halberdman dead-center before exploding. A jagged piece of ice as long as a ballista bolt from from the things blood as it is jettisoned out its back, and then the body of the fiend, still freezing over, falls forward, its arms and legs popping off in broken sections.
One of the others, the one on the left, lunges to the left, avoiding being nailed but still getting swept by ice, but the fiendish halberdman on the right is caught in the blast of cold air. Ice and frost ripple over his skin as he takes the brunt of the damage....but miraculously stays upright, even for as badly as he's obviously hurt.
Lelith swiftly notched two arrows, her movements a graceful blur as she drew her bowstring with a practiced ease. Her steely gaze locked onto her target, she released the tension on the bowstring. The twin arrows sliced through the air, their flight guided by her unerring aim thanks to her elven and fae ancestry, to strike right at the heart of the enemy.
The arrows slice through the air. Once glances off the armored shoulder of the target and spirals toward the Guardian, doing nothing to its stone body, but the second arrow sinks deep into the chest of the infantryman. He staggers back with blood spraying.
His partner attacks Malenia, the closest enemy he can get to, but is unable to hit the Jedi as she out maneuvers him...
(I believe there’s still one fiend infantry standing?)
Judal looks to finish off the infantry before trying to figure out how to take down the machines. Moving his Hex to the closest remaining fiend, Judal moves in… With his Serpent’s Fang sword glistening, he starts slicing away… (I believe fiend he’d was on fell already, if not he’s attacking that one…)
First Attack: 12 to hit for 13 damage plus 9 poison damage and 5 necrotic
Second Attack: 27 to hit for 15 slashing and 8 poison damage and 4 necrotic from Hex…
“Let’s shine a little light on the subject!” Thea chimes, tilting her head up and opening her arms. The sun glints off her horn sending a flash of light towards Malenia, the moment it touches her it refracts into a rainbow which bursts out from her. She’d continues to peek over to check on the Princess and steel.

Judal's sword eviscerates one of the halberd wielders before he can do anymore damage, and he topples forward, trying to stop the bleeding as he collapses. Within a split second, Thea's Dawnfire splits around Malenia and slams into the remaining trooper, burning him to a crisp in the searing light.
The damaged Guardian's eye begins to flash as it begins walking backward, and a thin laser centers on Judal's chest as it charges up.
As this happens, the flying Guardian strafes around, its laser trying to take focus on Thea...
