Lelith pivots on her feet at Princess Zelda's command. Her bow comes up, is drawn back, and then an arrow is loosed, arching over the shield wall and killing one infantryman near the back of the formation. Before the formation can retaliate, she pulls another arrow from her quiver and fires again, killing another of the shield bearers and sending it sprawling...
Judal and Malenia will be in Melee Range at the start of their next turns!
The phalanx barely has time to look up before Thea's attack literally washes down over one of them. The poor chap has time to gaze into the light of the attack and then is nailed before he can dive to safety. When the attack finishes, he looks much, much worse for wear, but it still standing.
A crossbow bolt screams out of the formation and bounces harmlessly off Judal's armor before one of the shieldbearers in the front line shift to fill the hole that has been knocked in the defensive wall of the phalanx.
As the formation shuffles to fix itself, a Guardian steps into sight far down the road behind them. It immediately starts sounding the deep bassy alarm they have been using to signal one another.
"On the boats!" Someone behind the party calls. "Get all the civilians on the boats and get them out to sea!"
"There is no time!" A voice protests.
"Then get as many aboard as you can. The ships cannot be close when those things get close. They'll scuttle the whole fleet."
Judal and Malenia will be in Melee Range at the start of their next turns!
"Give me some space," Judal calls out to Malenia and runs to the thickest cluster of enemies he can find. Once he manages to get into the thickest part of the mess that he can he lifts his hand and kisses the ring he wears there, activating his Ring of Obscuring and creating a Fog Cloud that surrounds him and everything in a twenty foot radius in fog, heavily obscuring the area. Closing his eyes, Judal trusts his instincts (and his Dagger of Blindsight) to allow him to continue to fight effectively nonetheless...
"I am one with the force, the force is with me," he whispers silently to himself...
And then as a Bonus Action he puts Hex on whatever the biggest, juiciest target in his fogged up sphere is...
Fog descends on the formation as Judal charges into it, and then chaos ensues. A mace whiffs by him with absolutely no effect, and then everything is trying to kill him. Halberds lick the air over his head from multiple directions, spark on the ground at his feet, even bang harmlessly off his armor on more than one occasion. One of the swings is even hard enough that he feels it.
Malenia will be in Melee Range at the start of her next turn!
The heel sof her feet dig into ground, grinding her forward momentum to a compelte halt as the wall of fog blocks her vision forward. Flicking her chin from left to right, Trying to see some way to aid Judal who had gotten ahead of her. The Jedi sigh's, stepping five feet back from the fog and holding her weapons in front of her. "JUDAL, I CANT SEE ANYTHING!" Calling out, hoping her companion isnt in immediate danger.
Holding my attack action if anything comes in my Melee range.
Bonus Action: Dodge. Attacks against me have disadvantage until the start of my next turn.

Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thia's spectrum of light is triggered upon Malenia's entry into the fray, bursting from her in all directions.
Thea's readied action triggered as Malenia engages melee:
Dawnfire w/ Radiant Soul:6 Temp HP on Malenia and Con DC15 vs baddies
Dawnfire You offer a prayer of protection for a friend in need, and a burst of holy light comes to their aid. Choose one ally you can see within range. Each enemy within 5ft of the chosen ally must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d4 radiant damage. The chosen ally then gains temporary hit points equal to the total radiant damage dealt.
Radiant Soul You have resistance to radiant damage, and when you cast a spell that deals radiant or fire damage, you can add +4 to one radiant or fire damage roll of that spell against one of its targets.
There is a quick flash of light as Malenia charges into battle and Judal drops the fog cloud. The light dissipates the fog, burning it away as three of the foes throw their arms up and the shieldbearer tries to push his face behind his shield for protection.
One of the infantrymen tries to attack Malenia, but her nimble feet keeps her out of the way of its attempt. A second fighter attacks Judal, trying to loop its halberd between his legs, but is unable to hook him as he moves.
There is a shout from the docks as people are loaded onto boats, and then there is another volley from the Scorpion as it begins targeting the back line with ballistas. Three bolts fall along the back ranks, and two hit the same target, pinning the failing body to the ground as the life leaches out of the infantryman. The other is able to dodge the bolt meant for him as it sticks into the cobblestone street.
Another infantryman jabs his halberd at Judal, raking a gap in his armor.
"Malenia!" Zelda shouts from the backlines, sensing something. She throws her hand out toward the shieldbearer, and it raises its shield in an attempt to resist before crumpling to the ground...
Only eight of the combatants in the formation remain standing, and they all look battered....but the Guardian continues to bear down on their position...
Malenia's next Ability Check, Saving Throw, or Attack Roll is at Advantage!
"I seethe with purpose." Lelith felt the surge of ancient power from her patron coursing through her veins. With a swift motion, she invoked the power of the Feywild, a shroud of ice enveloping her form. In an instant, she transformed, crowned by a regal tiara of ice and clad in robes that echoed the biting cold of winter to those who saw it. Fey glyphs danced in ethereal patterns across her glowing figure, and a chilling wind, redolent of the heart of winter, encircled her. "My vengeance will be swift and brutal."
Swiftly drawing her bow, Lelith fired two arrows in rapid succession at the advancing Guardian. The projectiles streaked through the air, aimed unerringly for the red eye. Her swift and precise movements hadn't dulled a bit since her last battle; if anything, she had improved. Unfortunately, her new transformation seemed to have destabilized her with the winds, causing the first shot to go wildly astray. However, the second arrow found its mark, hitting the Guardian.
Lelith's first shot, fired too hastily, falls way short and skitters across the stone street, while the second shot strikes the stone body of the Guardian and splinters without doing any damage.
Malenia's next Ability Check, Saving Throw, or Attack Roll is at Advantage!

Thea remained aware of the boats loading, wanting to ensure that as many as possible can access the ships. She felt she could use a better view. Thea moves in to position herself within line of sight to her companions. She whispers a soft melodic prayer in celestial beneath her breath, calling upon the light to bless them.
Casting: Bless 3rd level on Riair, Judal, Malenia, Lelith and Princess Zelda.
Extending her prayer, Thea's horn glows. The light blanketing Judal refracts, growing with nostalgic warmth.
The remaining 8 members of the phalanx are looking battered but not beaten as they shuffle, trying to reform ranks in the face of an onslaught they hadn't expected.
One of the infantrymen attacks Judal as the fog cloud drops, with two of the attacks scraping uselessly across his armor, but the other slashing the exposed portion of Judal's neck...
As the fight rages, the Guardian levels a flashing laser on Thea's chest as it charges up a shot of its primary weapon...

Judal feels a wash of warmth and healing and pauses to bath in the light for a moment before he is rudely reminded he is in a battle not a bake shop by an infantryman nearly slicing his damned head off!
Cursing colorfully, Judal turns on his attacker... He catches their eyes and then closes his eyes before attacking, just to add a bit of intimidation to it.
first Serpent's Fang attack: 12to hit for 13slashing damage plus 6poison damage...
second Serpent's Fang attack: 21to hit for 14slashing damage plus 7poison damage...
If either attacks hit Judal will add a Slashing Flourish to add an additional 1damage to them and any one other target that may be within 5 feet of Judal. (Well that roll sucked.)
As a Bonus Action Judal sigh and speaks to himself... "Pull it together man. What would the ladies think if you die here... to these things??" (3rd level Healing Word for 10healing...)
The Guardian freezes in its tracks, and the laser stops flashing across Thea's chest.
Judal's first attack goes wide, but the second digs in deep. The infantryman is badly wounded, and Judal's withdrawal of his sword with a flourish grazes three more of them as his weapon arcs around...
The shieldbearer swings clumsily and misses Judal both times before one of the halberd-wielders in the back sticks him twice.
A second infantryman tries to get Malenia with its halberd, but the Jedi is able to duck and dodge away, easily sidestepping one attack and narrowly missing another...

Malenia moves fluidly through the formation, her lightsabers a whirlwind as she goes. Her primary weapon just barely misses one of the elite soldiers, but she catches another in the rear of the formation across the torso. His body splits in half, his upper portion permanently divorced from his lower end...
The Guardian remains frozen in place by Riair's magic, but the infantry keep fighting. There are blades swinging as Malenia moves, dodging one swipe only to get clipped across a leg by another. A different warrior sparks his blade off Judal's armor. As this is happening, the ship fires again.
A bolt comes down hard, skewering a demon-warrior in the back row. Then there is the sound of 'thwack' followed by cursing and shouting as one of the ballistas breaks a cord and distracts the weapon crew next to them, whose shot goes wide.
Weapon's swing in multiple directions as the fight continues, but the confusion of the situation means that none of the band are wounded in the melee...
Lelith continues her mantra about purpose and vengeance as she fires again, putting to an end, finally, the last remaining member of the shield wall. The arrow slices into his neck, and a second later his knees buckle and he topples back into the fray. He next shot, however, pings harmlessly off a pikeman's armor.
The Princess watches the battle, and brings her hands up to the sides of her head.
"These were my people..." She mutters to herself, creating her own chant now. "...I will right the wrong for those who are no longer here to do so..."
Another of the infantrymen topple... Four remain to fight off the heroes.
There is a horn blast nearby as another Guardian can be heard approaching.

There’s a soft shimmer to Thea’s skin as she concentrates on the boon she shared amongst her companions. Violet eyes scan the battle field diligently, keeping an eye out for any civilians in a final effort to make sure they weren’t leaving any one behind before moving forward themselves. Watching the civilians being stuffed into boats with some already having set sail, and following the sound of a new guardian horn, Thea felt the rise of urgency. While Riair had paralyzed one, that’d still mean two guardian’s, and undoubtedly more to come should they linger. “This may be our cue to keep moving.” She calls out to the others as she herself moves as far as she can to close the gap in distance.
