T’bitha immediately shuts down when Sarah asks the question. She looks to Khessa and Hadi. T’bitha listens to the instructions of Khessa and repositions herself near the door and unlocks the door and opens it just enough to let Sarah in.
"Oh, uh"T'bitha you see a pale skinned elf with soft light blue hair nod to two of the guards standing on her left before stepping forward and through the threshold of the doorway. One of you shuts the door behind her (and locks it?) Standing in front of the four of you, you now see a slender, average height pale skinned elf with light blue hair. She's not wearing a helmet, but she does a bandana style cloth wrapping on her head. She also has a shortsword on a sling at her hip. "So uh" she looks around at the four of you, landing her eyes on T'bitha"can you tell me what this is about? Why were we sent here after shift to assist you?"
Tristan clambers down from his spot, and makes his way over to the commercial district. If the shop that is open is a bakery or grocers he will head inside, otherwise he will knock loudly on the doors of one of the closed stores. As he waits, he fishes inside his pouch, pulling a out a few coins.

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Since none of her companions take the initiative, Khessa thinks: 'Evidently, no one has any idea how to tell if this Sarah is a drow or not. Great! I guess I have to try and come up with something myself...'
"Sergeant Sarah," then the blonde arcane warrior speaks "you were sent here not simply to 'assist us', but to render an important service to our city! Lately," the tall warrior-mage goes on with a worried tone "the drow have become a major threat to surface cities - not excluding ours! Not only have some smaller population centers been wiped off the face of Weskeilia, which would have been bad enough; now even our city, the capital, is being threatened".
"But, to know how to continue the conversation," Khessa's tone becomes more and more serious "tell me something, sergeant Sarah: what do you know about drow? Do you know anything about their organization, their philosophy, their culture? Or at least, do you speak their language?"
Tristan you climb down, the shop that is still open is actually a small stall that is selling produce, likely belonging to one of the outskirt farms. Running it and attempting to close it up as the last person begins walking away is a young boy, no older than 12 or 13 years. As you approach, without even looking your direction you hear "Sorry, I'm closed up for the night. You'll need to return in the morning." Are you wanting to talk to him or do you want to go knock on an actual shop?
As you lock the door Khessa she looks back with a concerned look before speaking with a concerned tone "what's the meaning of this?" As you continue to speak she listens and visually searches the room. "Right.." she says with skepticism "the drow aren't stupid enough to attack Whiteridge City. They've only had one successful raid in the past ten months thanks to our dark knights and it wasn't even on a Whiteridge town. It was an orcish village." She looks down at her arms as you ask your final questions "obviously I speak their language. I'm an elf." She gives you a questioning look "drow however are not my priority. I know about as much as others. They live underground and hate us surfacers."
She stops scanning the room when her eyes fall on Dimitri again. She squints her eyes as she begins speaking again "I knew I recognized you." The elf begins rummaging in a small pouch on her side before she pulls out a small rolled up piece of parchment. "You're wanted for murder." She unrolls and displays the parchment which is a wanted poster with a very detailed depiction of Dimitri in his mask.
Hadi, in the back of your head you hear, very shyly "we could eat her."Tristan you catch a glimpse of light out of your peripheral in the direction of the tavern. As you look you see a small glowing red bead of light fly across the road toward the four guards who are still standing outside of the tavern. Followed by a second bead of light. Followed by a third, a fourth, a fifth, and a sixth in rapid succession. Tristan, you watch as these beads get larger and a little brighter until they slam against the tavern and the guards and explode in a small fiery explosion. Dimitri, Hadi, Khessa, and T'bitha the four of you hear six explosions go off directly outside of the tavern. Sarah turns towards the door "what's going on here? What did you do?" as the door blasts back, falling to the ground inside the tavern. Looking outside you see the four guards that were accompanying Sarah laying on the ground, moaning, and looking very hurt.
"You're not here bounty-hunting!" Khessa shakes Sarah "The drows are attacking and if we can not stop them, there will be FAR more murders in no time! Dimitri is helping us and better you do the same! Obey your orders, for the sake of Whiteridge and us all, and help us defend T'bitha".
Retreating behind the bar, ready to trigger the deadfall, the blonde arcane warrior urges the wounded guards: "Inside and take cover! Ready to counterattack as they come in".
T’bitha stumbles backwards, but remains on her feet as the door blasts in. She peers through the smoke and dust to see the other guards laying on the ground, injured. She rushes forward through the door, “Help me bring them in!” She grabs the first guard who appears injured the most and attempts to move them into the building. As she steps outside to do this she looks around to check her surroundings.
(OOC: So, I forgot about Hadi'salarm. It would have gone off when Sarah entered the building, and it says you choose designated creatures at the time of casting, so I guess for the first 10 seconds of her entering you all just stood in silence as a bell went off from her entering into the alarm area lol. It'll also go off every time you drag one of these guards into the tavern like T'bitha is attempting to do)
"It is my orders to bring in a murder suspect, but we'll deal with that later" she looks at the door and at T'bitha rushing to help the guards laying on the ground "we have bigger problems at the moment." Sarah begins walking in your direction, T'bitha "if they're after you, perhaps you shouldn't go to the door!"T'bitha you step through the door and grab the most hurt looking guard and begin pulling him into the tavern. As you look around you spot two shadowhunter mages standing on the opposite side of the road looking intently at you and you know where there's a shadowhunter mage, there's at least two shadowhunters. The mages are never alone.

Tristan grimaces but walks forwards and steps inside anyway. He covers his sword with his cloak, doing his best to appear non threatening. "I will pay triple your normal rate, if I must. Please, it is urgent."

Hadi blinks as the voice in his head says something to him for the first time, and wonders briefly if this is the same voice that his friend had mentioned just a minute before. But before he has time to react the explosion happens and everything is thrown into chaos.

Dimitri sighs inwardly. That's why I don't get involved in things. He rubs the dart he hid in his palm, planning his next move. He would have to run, to a different town, perhaps, with diguises... He glances at the exit, calculating how he would manage to escape, then he hears the blonde warrior's crisp, determined voice calling them off. He looks up at her, surprised. But then... Would they still trust him? When this blows over? He should have ran when he had the chance. In truth, he didn't know why he stayed. Seeing them setting up a dumb trap that is pretty much doomed to fail to help a drow they barely know... Guess he just couldn't leave this bunch of idiots behind.
T’bitha speaks to Sarah as she kneels down near the most injured guard, “Yes, well, these guards lives are in grave danger exposed out here.” She looks up to see the two shadow mages and her eyes widen, “They’ve found me.” she says softly to herself. She starts dragging the guard into the tavern as quickly as she can.
T'bitha and Dimitri, the two of you are first to react! At the moment, only the two Drow Spellcasters are visible. The Drow Shadowhunters are not visible yet. T'bitha you currently have a guard in your arms that you're dragging back into the tavern, but you can of course drop him and attack!
Tristan, it's up to you if you want to turn and react to what just happened or continue to talk with the young child and attempt to purchase something from him.
