"Good job Sarah! Another one bites the dust!" Khessa encourages Sergeant Sarah, as she sends Male Drow Shadowhunter bleading to the ground. Out of the corner of her eye, she checks how her companions are doing and is relieved to see that they don't seem to be in trouble.

'Sarah, on the contrary, is injured,' she decides 'better to help her get rid of this last drow... so then together we take out the rest, one at a time. By the way, Sarah will have a very important task as soon as we wipe out this first wave of attackers - I just hope she'll listen to me without arguing too much'.

Since she has no other drow nearby, Khessa wastes no time invoking green fire but she tries to surprise Scarred Drow Shadowhunter with a treacherous thrust.

Attack: 23 Damage: 8

(Yep, Tristan is making his way back, probably should have specified that 🤪)

'Poor Tristan...' is Khessa thinking, in the meantime 'He insisted to take position out, alone, to watch over us... But he did nothing, neither to warn us of the incoming attack, nor to fight the drow assault off. He must have been spotted and surprised by them. And killed! No, no, I hope this not... Our poor brave hero! Maybe they have simply knocked him out, like they did to Cedric at the mansion...' she is desperately trying to convince herself, but with not much success 'Avimm, do you know something about his current conditions? They did not kill him, right? Please Avimm, lie to me if you must, but tell me they did not...'

Combat Round 2

Hadi you strike the Normal Drow Shadowhunter with green-flame blade dealing 5 damage to her and releasing flames to Soulblade Drow Shadowhunter dealing an additional 4 damage.

Khessa you swing at the Scarred Drow Shadowhunter with your greatsword dealing 8 points of slashing damage.

Khessa you desperately try to convince yourself that Tristan is safe outside, or at least alive. You then reach out to the voice in your head, but continue to get no response from it.

Lead Drow Shadowhunter is dead, so she doesn't do anything or maybe she's just unconscious. I don't remember anymore.

Scarred Drow Shadowhunter slashes at Sergeant Sarah with her scimitar. Attack: 18 Damage: 10

Male Drow Shadowhunter continues to jab at Khessa with his rapier. Attack: 22 Damage: 10

Aggressive Drow Shadowhunter continues to do things you can't see from inside the tavern.

Normal Drow Shadowhunter strikes at Hadi again with her shortsword. Attack: 24 Damage: 11

Soulblade Drow Shadowhunter continues to strike at T'bitha with her soul blade. Attack: 23 Damage: 14

Tristan - out of combat | You most definitely would be close enough at this point to have spotted two drow standing outside the tavern, as well as a few guard laying on the ground.

Hadi uses his last shield slot to deflect the sword attack at him, and retaliates again with the green topped shadow blade.

T’bitha sees Sergeant Sarah getting pummeled as she courageously fends off the drow. She reaches her hand out in the Sergeant’s direction and cites an incantation,  “Bathe in Elistraee’s healing moonlight”

Knowing he has been spotted, Dimitri rolls onto his feet, pushing himself up with his good leg then aims again at Male Drow Shadowhunter with another dart he produced from his cuff, before stepping into the shadows again.

Khessa is really tempted to go against Normal Drow Shadowhunter and Soulblade Drow Shadowhunter, since with her green fire she would be able to damage the both of them at the same time... But that would mean leave Sergeant Sarah alone, just now that she has been hit again!

'No, this guard is the one who needs my help most' she decides. 'We will get rid of this one, then we will go together to finsh the others'.

"Come on Sarah!" he urges her, attacking the drow from the opposite direction to the sergeant, to make it difficult for him to keep an eye on both at the same time "They're falling one after the other! Let's serve this guy as well as the one before!"

Then, choosing a moment when Scarred Drow Shadowhunter  has briefly shifted attention to the sergeant, the blonde arcane warrior unleashes her heavy blade in a swift slash.

Swift greatsword slash: Attack: 13 Damage: 12

T'bitha heals Sergeant Sarah for 11 points.

Dimitri throws another dart at Scarred Drow Shadowhunter (moved from Male because he's dead), but it unfortunately she moves out of the way just enough to cause it to miss. You then hide. You feel pretty well hidden!

Demanding Drow Spellcaster speaks with Aggressive Drow Shadowhunter.

Tristan, you're up now!

 (OOC: We'll see if Tristan wants to engage with the Demanding Drow Spellcaster and the Aggressive Drow Shadowhunter before moving on to Sergeant Sarah, Hadi, and Khessa!)

Seeing the situation unfold, Tristan is dumbfounded for a second. Quickly coming to his wits, he drops the bag and slides his saber from it's sheath with a hiss. Dashing forward, the runes on his forearms burn cause his sleeves to smolder and burn as his body radiates energy. With a cry, he slashes out at the nearest drow (Demanding Drow Spellcaster), his blade leaving a glowing trail in it's wake. If it hits it's target, the wake continues onwards and slams into the drow standing nearby, burning with the same energy coming from Tristan.

(Activating Crimson rite: 4 damage)

Attack: 15 Damage: 12 + 4 Fire damage to the Agressive Drow Shadowhunter

Tristan pulls out his saber, covers it in a green flame and strikes at the Demanding Drow Spellcaster, forcing the flame to jump over to the Aggressive Drow Shadowhunter for 17 damage and 4 damage respectively. Tristan, you get the feeling they're both about to focus an assault on you.

Khessa is eager to take down Sarah's enemy, for this would allow the both female fighters to start ganging up against the remaining ones and quickly close the combat. So she feints high, then quickly lowers her heavy blade in a vicious bent slash.

Khessa realizes that her last attack against the drow left Scarred Drow Shadowhunter pretty rough: "A fight can be way less fun," she taunts her victim "when your opponent is NOT a helpless historian outnumbered, taken by suprise in his home and bound to a chair, don't you think?"

'If Sarah could have hit her, she probably wouldn't be standing!' the blonde arcane warrior thinks 'But Sarah seems to need some training at attacking drows. Well, she's doing quite practice right now... Let's hope she is quick at learning'.

Pushing herself beyond her limits, the tall warrior-wizard attempts a return blow from the side opposite the one he just hit from.

Return blow (Action Surge): Attack: 10 Damage: 12

Hadi continues his retaliation at the drow with whom he has been squaring off with, almost enjoying the first time he’s really been able to use the ancient skills he’d read about.

Khessa you strike at Scarred Drow Shadowhunter dealing 13 slashing damage. You then strike at Scarred Drow Shadowhunter again, but she manages to dodge the attack.

Hadi you deal another 6 points of damage to Normal Drow Shadowhunter and 4 points of damage to Soulblade Drow Shadowhunter.

Scarred Drow Shadowhunter yells in elvish "let's get out of here." She then strikes at Khessa with herscimitar. Attack: 23 Damage: 10 after she misty steps pass the web and out of the tavern. (OOC: She was originally attacking Sergeant Sarah near the door, so she did not need to move to be able to teleport out)

Normal Drow Shadowhunter strikes at you again Hadi. Attack: 24 Damage: 5 before she moves away from you, also misty stepping out of the tavern. (OOC: You have an attack of opportunity, if you'd like to take it)

Soulblade Drow Shadowhunter jabs her soul blade at you one last time, T'bitha. Attack: 15 Damage: 13 before she takes the same course of action, fleeing, and misty stepping out of the tavern. (OOC: You have an attack of opportunity, if you'd like to take it)

Aggressive Drow Shadowhunter charges at Tristan. Attack: 15 Damage: 14

Tristan, though it's not your turn, and I don't think you have a reaction to deal with it, you watch as 3 more drow appear outside the tavern, though one looks severely injured.
