T’bitha is glad to see the Drow on the run, even if they are trying to sneak away using spells. She cries out with trembling anger in her voice, “Don’t ever come back. I have a new family now. You tell him to leave me alone!”
T'bitha's words are a shock to Khessa. Did the priestess of Eilistraee, who has known them so recently, really come to see her and the others as a new family for her? Khessa, for whom the concept of 'family' is linked to strong emotions, is almost moved...
'No, shadowhunter,' thinks the blonde arcane warrior, in an imaginary dialogue with the murderous drow on the run 'darkness or not, I will not let you escape. Even if letting you go did not likely mean to ruin the surprise we have in store for your boss, I would never give you a second chance to threaten one of the purest souls I have ever met. Your race is about to end. And it will never start again'.
Then, suddenly she hears it: the shadowhunter's growl of pain, followed by the thud of a body falling heavily.
'Good! Her run finished even sooner than I thought' reflects the tall warrior-mage. 'Hadi must have been luckier than me. All the better! Now only the two sleeping demons to take care of... then we can prepare to receive our main guest!'
Khessa looks around and, noting with satisfaction that all the enemies that were left have been eliminated, she catches her breath for a moment.
'Thank you, Eilistraee!' she thinks, remembering that she had asked the goddess for help before the battle 'You did very well, you know? I'm really grateful. You look like a goddess I could get along with. I... I'll really think about it, right? Thank you very much, anyway, you're great! And with 'great' I don't mean 'powerful', that surely you are that too... but that I care less about right now; I mean... 'worthy'. Yes, I really think you are worthy'.
Quickly refreshed, the blonde arcane warrior does not waste more time and proposes: "Perfect guys! We have killed them all! Nobody can warn their leader that the situation has changed! He will come soon, eager as he is to capture our dear T'bitha. Not knowing that we are waiting for him. And that Sarah is returning with reinforcements. I'd say to set a trap for him! Hadi and Tristan are elves, so if they wear the cloaks of two shadowhunters, from a distance, they can look like two of them. And they can hold T'bitha between them, with her wrists apparently tied (in fact, the rope will not be tightened or knot, so T'bitha will be ready to act whenever she pleases). The trio could stay at the entrance of our den. Dimitri and I could be hiding behind a nearby house, even completely out of sight (or Dimitri can spy if he wants, he is stealthy enough to do so). When our friend returns he will see the heroic two surviving shadowhunters who have managed to capture his coveted prey, he will show himself to them... and we will all be able to attack him by surprise either jumping on him or targeting him from distance, Hadi, Tristan and T'bitha from the front and, hearing the noise of the fight that begins, I and Dimitri will join the fray from behind. If the fight goes on, Sarah will have time to come back with reinforcements and they'll help us too! How about this? Let's try it, guys... We won't have another chance like this easily... We could get rid of this threat once and for all! T'bitha will be finally safer - and maybe many others also, because this will be not a small blow for the drow; they might be forced to reconsider their idea of being able to go anywhere and to do to the others whatever they want!"
Dimitri goes to recover his darts which are still usable, and goes to pick up his cane from where he left it by the tavern. He wipes the handle off and holds it in his gloved hand. It seems he'll have to see this through now, after all this...
"Okay. Let's give it a shot." He says, looking the others over. He likes this plan better than the one where they were cornered in a tavern with nowhere to go.
Now he'll just have to make sure he takes his leave at the right moment to get Sarah off his trail.
As Hadi's blade fades into the shadow, so does the tune he was whistling. He brushes himself off quickly and with a skip in his step says to himself, "wow... the song really works..." then looking up to the others adds, "That's as good a plan as any. Though let's see if we can find a cloak that's not too dirty if possible." (though regardless cleans with with prestidigitation before wearing it)
T’bitha looks around after the battle. Satisfied, she turns to Khessa and listens to her plan. She grimaces slightly, but understands the façade she is trying to set up. “I’m not terribly keen on that idea, Khessa; however, I understand what you’re trying to accomplish. I trust the bindings will be loose enough so do what I need to do in an instant.” She looks to Tristan and Hadi. “You may rough me up if necessary. Hadi, can your magic make me look like I’ve taken a beating? Maybe a bruise or something on the cheek?”

Hadi makes a fist as if to bunch T'b, then grins and instead waves his fingers ((performance 10)) as small marks appear on her face. He then places the cloak over himself with a bit of a grimace at the, lack of, style.
Khessa in the meantime takes the bodies from the road and hides them all in the den, out of sight, as if the battle had been fought all inside, without the defenders being able to exit or counterattack (shadowhunters bodies left outside could have risen suspects).
"Of course, my dear" the blonde arcane warrior replies to T'bitha, gently caressing her on the cheek while loosly wrapping the rope around the priestess' wrists without actually knotting. "It is only to fool your 'friend'. Yuo'll be able to act every time".
If Tristan and Hadi allow, she also darkens a bit their exposed skin with some coal (producing it by burning wood in the den with Fire Bolt, if needed).
Finally, the tall warrior-mage hides behind a nearby building, with Dimitri, ready to spring into action when needed.
Tristan starts to prepare his disguise. I have some doubt that this will work. Why would the leader come to the scene of an active battle when they could just have their thugs deliver T'bitha? Either way, they haven't proven to be as competent as I would have thought, so it is a possibility.
Tristan accepts the impromptu face mask from Khessa, but cringes slightly as it comes into contact with his skin. He also pulls a mostly intact cloak from a shadowhunter and throws it over his shoulders, using to conceal the sword at his hip.

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
'What a long day...' Khessa thinks to herself, completely hidden out of sight, as she awaits visitors 'Just today we returned from a mission during the course of which we went through everything... As soon as I received the reward, I had to rush to speak with Malekith before it disappeared. So I got invaluable information about who I should be looking for in order to have any hope of freeing my family. I went back to Ozemon's mansion in hopes of being able to relax a bit by having Cedric take me around... and I found instead that the house had been attacked by drow. I set the first trap on the fly... and we thinned the ranks of the aforementioned drow quite a bit. Meanwhile, I discovered that there is Avimm, whatever it is, with his ability to speak in my mind (when it is in the right mood, of course) and that Dimitri is accused of murder (which is absurd - I remember how he risked to save the man-crocodile, the one who later gave him the bracelet - a killer usually doesn't behave like this with others - someone must have framed him). Finally, now, not yet happy, I have organized this second trap to end the game with the drow in a definitive way.'
'As I was a child,' the blonde arcane warrior remembers 'it seemed hard the day of work in the fields... but I must say that even the days in the capital can be a bit heavy! I hope at least that tomorrow I will also have time for some entertainment... I have not yet seen anything in particular in the city, apart from how big and crowded it is! Nor have I been able to go shopping! While I couldn't wait, instead, to find out if someone could work the elven steel that I carried on my back for all these miles!'
'But, hey,' she mentally sighs 'on the ohter hand, what could I do? Let the drow do what they wanted just for the sake of touring the city and its weaponsmiths? Obviously not. First things first. Let's try to receive the guest as he deserves, as soon as he arrives, so we end this long day in the best way!'
