"Vars, I agree with you completely. We all had to earn each other's trust, perhaps not an easy task considering who we are. More importantly, young Reginald here will need to work hard to show that my faith in him is well placed."
Sparhawk looks back at Vars.
"And it goes without saying, I completely respect your opinion on these matters, and appreciate you not beating around the bush. Too many people's opinions are hidden in niceties."
"I'm not sure if you two have noticed, but starting today, we are rich folks." Bjorn grins. "And we're extremely trustworthy, wouldn't you agree? I certainly think so."
"Nah, rich folks sit in their big houses with their servants counting their money and figuring out ways to manipulate people. We are just hard working folk, trying to make an "honest" living. And...since I've met you, it still doesn't take me too long to count the money, and I've spent more of my time sleeping on the ground than in a warm cozy bed. I don't have any servants either, nor do I want one.
(Ok Dwar, we are head to see headed to see Dietrich Thornston.)
Seeing Frangipani more comfortable with a magic sea shell, which makes sense to Sparhawk (hard to swim with extra clothing), he takes the cloak of protection back and ponders as they walk to the Mirabar district.
"For now, I'm going to wear this cloak. Once I find myself a suite of plate, we'll decide who its best suited for. While we are in the Mirabar area, lets keep on eye out for better arrows and other things that could be of help with our missions." I'm also not against finding another Cleric who can fight in combat and provide some healing." Eberk and my share of the plunder are available if we find anything useful."
Frangipani let a little drool slip over her lips and amused herself by animating it into nudibranchs that skittered over her chin and mouth before being eaten again as they walked toward the warehouses.
After crossing the bridge into the Mirabar district you are amazed by the stark contrast possible trombone side to the other. The main of Luskan is mostly greys, brown's and dingy greens, but once you step off the bridge into the Mirabar district, it's like an explosion of colors. Yellows, reds and vibrant blue painted buildings and vendor tents at the market. The people have better quality fashions and even the guards where polished and well kept armor. You make way to the Red dragon market where the smells of fresh spices and baked goods great your nostrils. Somewhere you can hear music being played as people bustle about.
"Ah, who doesn't love the smell of fresh baked good." Sparhawk looks at his friends. "This is where the fancy people live. Let's take a look around and see if we can find our friend, Dietrich Thornston." Sparhawk looks at the group, "if you see something here you want to purchase, make sure you're not getting taken advantage of."
"Also, keep on eye out for pick pockets, this is where we would find them, so keep your belongings well guarded."
Vars keeps an eye out for new swords as well as some better armor as he goes, but he doesn't do any deliberate shopping. If he sees something, he'll stop and give it a look, but as is he's just ready to go see about this new job. Shopping can wait until afterwards as far as he is concerned.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Investigation for Dietrich Thornston (anything, like a sigil, colors of clothing, or something from his horse. (Investigaton: 8 (We can also ask people where his warehouse is located)
“Well Reginald, how is it that you found yourself navigating ships?” Sparhawk asks curiously hoping to learn more about his new friend now that they are outside the clutches of the wizard tower
while they wander, he’ll ask the occasional merchant, “wondering if you can assist a knight, I’m looking for Master Thornton?” He’ll smile and use his charm and good nature( which he has until you get on his bad side)
Although casual in demeanor, he keeps a watchful eye, always on alert for surprises.
Frangipani amused herself making various passersby smell strongly of rotting seaweed for a few moments and conjuring a small rain cloud over her own head.

After asking around the market a bit, you find a few vendors familiar Dietrich, known locally as the Baron, though he holds no such real title. They direct you towards the docks, warehouse #9

Reginald follows along, thinking about how his day has come to an interesting turn of events.

Everyone can roll a perception check while making your way to the warehouses
