The wall across from the double doors has several diagrams drawn on fine parchment hung in frames. They look to be architectural drawings of the tower and a map of sorts.
Lir breaks the frames, rolls up the parchments and stuffs them into his bag.
"Hold up Lir, lets take a good look and try to figure our way out. Lir, Bjorn, what can you decifer?"
Sparhawk, senses Frangipani's discomfort and Eberk's feelings which match his own, and thinks to himself, the majority feels quite uncomfortable with these items.
"Eberk, time to destroy these accursed items." He looks at the group. " I"m sorry if anyone feels otherwise, but its growing into something that I fear will attack us again or destroy one of us!"
Sparhawk will dump the arms, necklace and book out of his pack. He will draw his Warhammer and start swinging on the items.

Having just reached for one of the drawings you find yourself transported to a new place. You are in a large, round cavern. You instantly feel more at home as you realize you are in very close proximity to the ocean. The smell of kelp and salt water is very strong here. The layout of this cavern resembles the first floor of the tower where you entered, except where the book shelves were placed, there are now old corral formations, long dried up and dead. You see three tunnels exiting the room, one due North, one South East and one South West.
the whispers from before have now returned and are loud. More like shouting. Roll a wisdom save dc 12

You feel the overwhelming need to attack someone, anyone…but since there is no one you can see you find yourself unable to do anything. You can’t think Straight with all the gibberish being spoken in your mind. Occasionally you think you hear Ufeli’s voice

"Whoa, whoa, hold on," Bjorn stammers as he sets down the chest he's been dragging. He waves a peculiar gesture and speaks the words for Charm Person, cast at second level to target both Sparhawk and Eberk. (DC 15, idk if we want to roll initiative or what.)
"Suppose it is Abernath coming back to life, won't he appreciate that you gave him new arms? And if it's a monster, then how will it catch us without legs, eh? There's nothing to worry about..." He looks over to where Lir was standing. "Er, well, except for him."
Anyone with a passive Perception of at least 7 notices he's slowly and carefully drawing his magic axe with his other hand as he approaches. His eyes keep flicking back to the book, like he's afraid it might suddenly vanish.

( no need for initiative just yet as they are somewhat occupied for a sec while you cast. See what the results of their save throws are)
Eberk and Sparhawk wisdom saves if you wish to resist Bjorns charming argument
Sparhawk 9 so he’s probably listening. He has no real reason to doubt his friend except the weird spell from the book. (What effect is charm on a friend?, more convinced?)

( just more persuasive than usual and you will likely follow his advice)
Woefully humming his blasphemies, Lir, sets off down the South West tunnel.
Lir
You follow the south west tunnel and notice as the cavernous sea rock gives way to more weathered stone and soil. The temperature seems much warmer here and humid. You can smell lush vegetation not far off and can hear the singing of birds and bugs as you get to the exit. The voices fade away and you see a vast, dense Jungle before you. So many different kinds of birds abound and flowers you have never before seen.

Lir responds with an obscene ululation of Chthonic free verse, attempting to drown out the sound.

Good try. It just melds into the cacophony of horrible sounds, it is almost as if your voice belongs with the others
