One of the neighbors comes out of his home, shakily holding a dilapidated looking sword. “ are…are they gone? “
He sees the woman laying on the ground and rushes to her. “ Moana, Moana…oh dear.” He says as he pulls his vest off to make a pillow for her head. “ Will she be ok?” He asks Eberk, who still has a glow of magic about him, even though in his night clothes. He just assumes Frangipani is Eberk’s beast
Zaal struggles with the weight of the unconscious Sparhawk. Sir Dod and the Articifer Aaron tell Zaal they will drop off Sparhawk’s armor and gear in the morning along with his artifacts. It takes about a half an hour for you to get to Kaya’s. Where you see Eberk out in the street near some homes next to a stegosaurus and some people, a few injured, a few splattered remains of zombies. Part way back some of the guardsmen ask about Sparhawk’s status to ensure their tallies of the dead and injured are accurate. .
(as Zaal drags the huge half-orc across the street to Kaya's inn, Sparhawk is completely unconscious, quite pale, and only dressed in a robe. The tired dark elf seems to struggle with the weight of the man and it is clear by the dirt on the bottom of the paladins robs that Zaal has dragged/ carried him for quite some distance)
Zaal assures the guards that Sparhawks... condition, has nothing to do with the recent attack. Though, if one of them had offered to help him get the wounded paladin to the inn, he wouldn't object. Regardless, he continues his slow and monotonous task of dragging his client to the inn, taking note of the damage around him.
Zaal sighs as he is once more stopped in the street, straining under the weight of the paladin. "He did this to himself. Some sort of ritual." He hefts the paladin upright again, as his grip slips for a moment, "That's probably what attracted the undead, as the attack started around the same time as the ritual began. As for Bjorn, I have no idea." He eyes the streets around him as he says bluntly, "The coward ran off when the undead showed up, but he was disguised, so if he changed his appearance he could be anywhere at this point." Unless Eberk decides to perform some healing on Sparhawk, Zaal will continue towards the inn without another word to the cleric.
Sparhawk’s eyes flicker open, he sees Eberk and Zaal and his mouth flickers in a brief smile
”Did it work?” He says weakly, then falls unconscious and cannot be awakened. His breathing slow but consistent. He seems to be a shell of himself and clearly has no strength.
( healing will not help as this is exhaustion related)
The woman is in bad shape and not conscious.
Eberk places his hand on the woman’s forehead, casting Spare the Dying.
OCC: Just to clarify, Sparhawk, Zaal, and Bjorn are MIA. Lir is presumably still asleep inside. Is that correct?
Frangipani nudged Eberk with her huge blue head and ignored the woman now that she was no longer dying.
(OOC: We (Sparhawk, Zaal, Bjorn) are off doing something else in parallel to what you are doing. I'm sure Dwar will bring us back together eventually)
(Correct)
the woman stabilizes, and begins to breath normally.

About this time Lir comes out of the Inn, dressed to go out, seemingly oblivious that anything had transpired
Frangipani bellows annoyance at Lir...
Lir walks right past, eyes fixed above as if searching for a specific city architectural feature.

“Yes, she just needs rest.” Eberk looks around for more wounded. Seeing Zaal dragging Sparhawk, he runs over. “What happened to him? Where is Bjorn?”

Eberk casts Healing Word on Sparhawk and help with getting him to the inn.
Heal for 5
Sparhawk seems to be a shell of himself and clearly has no strength he is exhausted.
Finally noticing Sparhawk Frangipani thunders over the multi-ton behemoth becoming her genasi self at the last moment.
" What happen?"
The healing helps, but doesn’t bring him to consciousness
( healing will not help as this is exhaustion related)
