“Hmm perhaps there’s another tomb like the one before? We replace the urn and more treasure to be found of sorts. Might be worth holding onto while we’re still here… if we can return it to its rightful place, that would be the right thing to do.” He nods and smiles at Garth pocketing the coin. “I’d also assume that they’re leader is further down, these were mere lieutenants at most. As for the doll, do goblins practice voodoo? Could this be a way they’ve Tortured Tark?”
Javier, there is nothing else unusual about this room. You aren’t sure about goblins and hobgoblins practicing voodoo, it’s nothing that you have read about, but definitely a point to write in your ledger and research later. Perhaps they were just bored guards and they felt it looked funny.
The map appears to be of the level you explored above, it seems to be Dirak’s annotations and notes on the Old Fritz mine. He may not have been aware of this lower level and unfortunately discovered it with a cave in.
There is a door in the northwest of the room that you came through, a passageway east that you listened to, and the unexplored passageway to the southeast that awaits you. Which way would you like to go?

With a last look at the expensive armour on the bodies, Garth turns to the east, ready to move on. "Something tells me our destination is to the south, but lets check this way first. Everyone ready?"
He waits a moment to see if anyone objects, then resumes his stealthy movement in front of the group, heading east down the corridor that that was previously investigated.
As you head down the eastern passageway, it starts to turn south curving left and right. You see a natural spring come out of the ground and the water flows down along the way you are walking. As you keep going, you see light and an opening, you exit into some sandy soil and as you look down, you see signs of goblin footprints that go back and forth. Garth, as you peer around the opening and the bushes, trees and stream in this area, give me a survival check.

Indeed, as you piece this together, the location, the initial assault. This is path that the goblins used to waylay wagons and then sneak back to the caverns with their supplies.

Salamir follows along a short distance behind Garth, trying to be quiet as well. He is still wielding his rapier and is listening intently for any noises up ahead, even though he is a little behind.
Belkaria is concerned on how the man’s urn and resting place had been desecrated. How many of the Shadow Warriors were there? It was good to see the one tomb undisturbed, but this? With sweet cakes and a pin cushioned doll? Just didn’t seem right at all. And she agreed with the rest on the doll - was an odd thing for a goblin to do. She hopes it was just them passing the time and nothing worse. She thanks Garth for the distribution and falls in line with the rest as they continue their search through the cavern. She hopes they find their way out soon… and also wishes that map was for the level they were on!
Garth heads down the southern passageway and you all follow his lead. Initially quiet, stopping carefully and listening, you make a turn to the right (westward) and then see a glow at the end of the tunnel ahead. Salamir is a little excited about what may lay ahead, and he bumps into the back of Garth, making a little noise as you come to the opening of the room. Here is what you see.
You peer into a large natural chamber made of bands of gray and black rock. Firelight flickers on the walls. There is a stalagmite on the floor near a large pit. Behind the pit is a raised platform. There is a set of stone stairs leading up to a ledge with a table, barrels, and some sacks. Behind this is a curtain. On the left side of the platform is a makeshift throne.
It is not the throne that catches your eye, but the large orc sitting on it, holding the chains to his two giant pet rats snapping their teeth and lunging at you. It makes you think that you are their next meal. Near (yep, you guessed it) Sawtooth are four goblins, three with scimitars and short bows. The one closest to Sawtooth holds a spear instead.
The goblins seem preoccupied as you enter the room, playing a game called "Slaps" where they try to hit each other's hands. As their boss speaks out loud to you, they snap to attention.
You are observed when you come in the room, and in a booming voice Sawtooth says to you, "Who the hell are you? Are you the rescue crew? Ha ha hah! You're not here to take away my plaything, are you?" He points to the muddy dwarf down in the pit that looks exhausted and emaciated, he has four yellow warts on his face. Sawtooth turns to the goblins and says "Where are those idiots Deet and Duzz? I'm thirsty!" Then he turns his attention back to you. "Well, I guess we can remain all friendly like if you just pay your tribute, give me 100 gold pieces and I'll let you go on your way."

Salamir hands Garth the map. "Unfortunately not, it seems to just cover the level above us. No clue as to what lies down here".
He pulls the pins out of the doll and puts it all in his pack, it might be significant, after all.

Javier nods “yes let’s be as thorough as we can be.. it doesn’t seem like the enemy has sounded the alarm by any means as is.”

"Not sure what to make of the tracks, but this is a way out at least. Probably used for their ambushes."
He waits while the others inspect the area, "Grew up in the mines, so tracking and such kind of passed me by."

“Now it makes me even more curious as to where Tark was running off to, I had assumed that was the way to the exit”, Salamir says.
”Maybe we can check that after we resolve the issue with this Sawtooth?”, he adds as he turns to go back through the tunnel.
Garth nods, "Aye. We've come this far, let's see what the other way holds for us, then back for Tark. One is probably their stash."
With that he turns around and resumes his position at the front, trying not to be seen once more.
