As you are all pondering the strange, intimidating and abrasive behavior of Norak, you continue to follow their rapid pace, looking at each other from time to time, trying to sort out what to do. Should we turn back?, you think. In for a penny, in for a pound... some say. In the end you are fairly turned around in this section of the Caverns, so you end up following the orcs to see what happens....
Suddenly, you hear a loud, howling cry. Flying off the 4 foot bank through the thick vegetation are Orcs. These orcs are wearing black dye furs and leather. Axes whirl as the Black Wolf Orcs viciously attack Norak's orcs!
(Surprise round, the orcs in black seem focused on their enemies, the Red Wolf Orc clan)

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(( OK...Garth would be waaayyy back...thinking 100'. He can't even voluntarily approach if frightened. And I just want to check .... if frightened, all our rolls are at disadvantage, correct? ))
((No, you are only frightened if directly confronting Norak, not the other orcs. At 100 feet back you would lose sight of the group of orcs and lose your way from them, but I think you would be behind them. And ignore the 'not being able to move closer' provision, in this setting moving closer is required. He has his back to you fighting these orcs, so remove the frightened condition. Norak was the only orc hit, by one of the javelins, and for 5 points of damage. He looks unfazed.))
