Belkaria gladly finds a spot to sleep, "Bought time these orcs come around! I knew it'd happen sooner or later. Come on guys, lets get some rest." And without waiting for a reply, she closes her eyes and goes to sleep.
Salamir is still wary of Norak and the Orcs, but after a short time finds himself also falling into sleep.
They had proved themselves in no short measure, and he was more confident that they could work together with the Orcs now.
After all, having some brute force around was certainly useful in some situations. And in others, Norak would find the Shadow Guardians come even more into their own.
He resolved to wake early, and help with final watch though, and requested such. He wasn’t sure if he would be woken though.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Garth nods to Norak but says nothing. (( Insight would say he's not trusting the orc completely either, and finds the sudden turn-around unusual ))
When time comes to make camp he looks around his companions, "I've always found two sets of eyes better than one." Turning to Hlin he says, "Wake me when you need a break. I'll take second watch."
During his watch he will take the time to speak with the orc on watch, asking about any other orc tribes that we might encounter, and trying to get a sense of how trustworthy they might be. (( Insight 9, passive 13 )) He would also be happy to share what he knows of the cave system in return for anything the orcs might be willing to share.
At the end of his watch he will shake Javier and Salamir awake, "You two should keep a watch each." His gaze wanders over Belkaria and he frowns. "That should be enough," he says.
Garth you take watch with an orc known as Erek Swingblade. He tells you about prior adventures in the caverns, expeditions he has been on. He has had a couple of prior run-ins with the Black wolf orc clan, but he’s not aware of any other competing clans nearby. He’s never seen the area that Norak is leading you to however. Your impression of him is that he is the duty bound soldier, he doesn’t question orders, but he does have a sense of honor and is bound by his word. You don’t sense any ill will directed toward you or the Shadow Guardians, he is all business. He is telling the truth when he talks to you. He admires your scimitars and he is curious about how you acquired them, a little curious but relieved that the Guardians are helping his clan. Finally, you go off duty and fall asleep.
In the morning you awaken and the orcs are already up, eating some rough rations and preparing themselves to get moving. “It’s not far.” Norak says, “We are close.” The orcs seem more at ease about you, and as you fall in line marching with them, give me a marching order please.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

If the terrain offers cover and the ability to hide, then Garth will ready his bow and move into a forward position, scouting stealthily. If there is no real cover, he will hang back hoping to remain unobserved by enemies given his superior darkvision.
Stealth: 19 Perception: 10 (passive 13) 90' Darkvision Position: either in front or at rear depending on conditions.
Javier sticks to the middle of the group not too far from Belkaria in hopes that she carries his weight in the social aspect of this trip. He sends his familiar Olive up onto Salamir's shoulder to assist his scouting (Not sure if you can use this advantage for the above roll, but Olive will help you with your next perception check). Javier himself nods along to the conversations and asks the occasional question about the clans culture and history, taking some notes, but trying hard not to be too rude. "I'd like to learn a few words of your language if you wouldn't mind... learning about you all is helpful, especially if we want to continue to improve relations and collaborate." he says curiously with the best of intentions.
Garth, the terrain doesn’t offer a great opportunity to hide. And the sound of the traveling orcs is not stealthy, you will be at the rear of the group. Javier and Belkaria you are in the middle, Salamir you and Hlin are at the front, but you don’t see much, but you are fascinated by some of the rock formations. Olive perches on Salamir’s shoulder and seems to be interested in the new sights and smells as well.
You travel through a canyon heading east. The walls tower high above as the valley narrows. As you round a corner, just as Javier was asking a question of the orc nearest to him, you hear some mysterious snorting and snapping noises to your left. A buzzing sound zips past. Then another. Norak yells out, “It’s Sprites, kill the little farts!”
Roll both initiative and insight! There will be a surprise round.

One of the sprites flies from above and touches you head, does not attack you, but rather looks at you with a quizzical look, looking at all of you and thinking about something. Please make a charisma saving throw.
The sprites fly up and shoot their short bows, there are three of them on either side, and each of them targets an orc, they seem to be ignoring the party.
