Garth grunts and shakes his head, "Too much time away from the algae pools."
Stepping away from the chest, he glances at his companions, his eyes finally settling on his fellow dwarf, "I reckon there's something under here. One more solid push should do it. I just need to catch my breath...you give it a try."
Salamir watches the other's struggle. "I am afraid I am not built for heavy lifting. Maybe if we empty the chest it will at least help a little", he says taking the items out of the chest and placing them on one of the cots.
Belkaria shrugs, "Sorry guys, not exactly built for strength" she leaves the others to work on the trunk and she heads back to the entrance of the room, keeping an eye and ear out for any trouble that might come after that giggling sound heard earlier.
With everyone’s combined strength and efforts (and an invisible force pushing the trunk forward as well), you are able to move the heavy trunk. You find a dug out area in the ground under the trunk. You see 3 bags there and with lifting them they are heavy. Each contain gold dust, chips and nuggets. Javier and Garth, you estimate the value is worth approximately 150 gold pieces each.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Salamir considers the stash of gold for a moment, knowing that it would take a long time to earn that sort of coin worth.
"I think you might be right Javier, it would make sense that this belongs to Dirak. I think we take it. These tunnels are undoubtedly occupied by something more than Dwarves, and if this Dirak is alive and we are able to help him, we can discuss it then", he says trying to convince himself as much as the others.
"Let's be quick though, whatever is making those sounds could be upon us any moment".
Once they open the chest, Belkaria comes over for a peak. She gives a low whistle at the amount found, "You're right, it probably belongs to Dirak. Let's take it with us as we go see what else is in this mine. And maybe fine Dirak as well. Come on, let's get going!" She goes back to the entrance of the room and looks back at everyone impatiently.
As you divide up the gold, 1 bag each to the strongest members of the group, you decide to leave the chamber and return back to the intersection. It is quiet again.
As you walk back down the passage you see a faint light coming from the shaft across the way. It wasn’t there coming in, you are sure of it.
Which direction would you like to go?

"Uhm, should we head towards the light? Might be running straight to trouble, but it could expedite the process no?" Javier ponders as he takes his place in the back of the group... He seems nervous but ready for a fight.
As you walk into the shaft, you see what appears to be a natural chamber, roughly 20 x 20 feet, after going 40 feet or so. The walls are curved and smooth rock, they show no sign of a miner’s pick. However, the rock has unusual yellow patches on the walls and on the floor.
The light illuminates from a lantern in the center of the floor. It’s just sitting there on the floor, flickering light. A flash catches your eye, it was golden. That’s when you see 3 nuggets of gold on the floor of the chamber.

Garth grumbles as they move off, "They might be fish-people from the moon too. Just not very likely."
As they enter the room he snorts. "Now if that doesn't scream 'trap', I don't know what does." He looks around for a stone or something else that he might be able to throw at the lantern from the entrance. "Tempted to shoot it with an arrow and see what happens, just don't want to waste 'em."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Salamir stays at the entrance to the room, looking in. He uncovers his own lamp, which he retrieved from the previous chamber before they left, to add more light to the situation.
"Do those yellow patches remind anyone else of the description of Dirak? Strange yellow warts over his face", he asks the others.
"It all seems a bit suspicious to me", he adds as he has a good look around the room from the safety of the entrance.

Hlin steps up and helps Garth "Alright lets give this a go" She pushes the chest using her whole body leaned against the chest.

Belkaria laughs, "Oh come on, they might be friends! Let's head on towards the light" and she fits back in to their marching order.
