Bayrith, you began to note a few other words here that are familiar with meanings such as "powerful", "blessed", and "divine". You're starting to piece together a coherent conclusion about this place but the complete thought manages to elude you.
Narstin, you notice that the door that you can see in this corridor has some sort of indentation that could be a sort of handle for opening the door.
Rosado, you notice nothing that may constitute a trap, but you do notice something strange about the statue beside the door. It might be worth looking at closely...
Bayrith is walking towards the rest of the group near the door. Not paying attention, of course, as he is writing his findings down in his notebook. As he reaches them, he says "Gentlemen, we need to press forward I've almost got this language solved. I'm sure it will be important in understanding what this place was....or is I guess."
Rosado, as far as you know, this statue is just a plain old, statue.
Narstin, you open the door, and right in front of you is a room filled with gold coins, jewels, and precious artifacts. It's a fairly sized room, about 15ft, by 15ft, and in the middle of the room, surrounded by this immense amount of treasure, is a stone pedestal with an open book on top of it. The pedestal has a very intricate design and seems to resemble a spout of flame curling up from the floor.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bayrith looks at the book with total curiosity. He begins to step forward before anyone else, hes just about to step into the room when he hears Rosado's and Narstin's words. Bayrith stops himself and gazes about the room.
OOC: does he notice anything of arcane nature from his vantage point? ARCANA:6 ....bleh...h's too excited apparently to notice much lol
Fionn, from the doorway you can see nothing wrong about the room itself and the treasure, but you do notice that on the book is one of the same engravings that are on the walls of the corridor outside. Underneath it, you can see a familiar flowing script on it. It looks like the Elvish script.
Bayrith, you are a bit too jumpy and excited to really note anything magical around.
Bayrith straightens up and looks towards Fionn and Narstin.
"What do you both think? Shall I go in and take a closer look at the book? I speak, read, and write perfect Elvish. Plus, the book itself may be arcane in nature. I've calmed myself enough now I believ." He pulls out his notebook and prepares to enter the room.
(I misse dthe comment about seeing what was at the end of the tunnel).
Narstin will follow the others into the corridor.
(Is there any sign of a handle or other way to open the door?)
Rosado will look for any traps "watch where you step. Me not know why but these pesky tomb builders love traps"

Narstin points out the indentation. This might be used to open the door. Do we feel it is safe to try?
its either that or stand here
Laissez les bons temps rouler
Narstin tried to open the door.
Rosado checks statue. Maybe it has some mechanism or inscription that can be used for opening doors. Maybe it is pointing somewhere important.

[OOC: Well..it looks that some dust got into Rosado eyes]

Rosado turns to the doors "Me tell ya, room full of gold is always fishy. Do not touch anything."
Narstin nods. Definitely seems like a trap...

Rosado will move first "Aye, me and mr clean dwarf will check the room and the book. Give us a second lads"
The plan is that Rosado will move with Bayrith and try to keep him safe from danger while he reads the book.
Perception 4 .. or not
Bayrith will move cautiously to the book. He will inspect it before actually touching it.
OOC: Investigation: 7
If it looks ok to him he will check it for anything arcan in nature.
OOc: Arcana: 5.....man I cant win on that arcana check.
