Rosado, you don't notice anything out of the ordinary about the room at all.
Bayrith, with you eyes and deductive skills, you do notice something about the pedestal the book is on. It seems that based on the way the book is positioned and the apparent way the pedestal is leaning, taking the book off from the pedestal would probably activate something.
Bayrith still inspecting the book and pedestal says to the others. "Gentlemen, I'm not quite sure what secrets the book holds just yet, but it appears that if we were to remove it something will activate, whether that something is good or bad, I cant be sure."
Bayrith, now more aware of danger to himself begins to reach for the pages, but stops himself and looks around at the others. "Shall I try to read it? Just a warning, I'm not sure what will happen if it is read."
OOC: If they want me to read it, what roll would you like DM?
Narstin, using your divine sense, you don't notice any unnatural presence within the area. Whatever feeling you get when you sense any unnatural presence doesn't seem to go off here.
Bayrith, the open pages of this book is talking about a man named "Kam-Karat" who was a powerful but very decadent wizard. He once ruled this local area with burning fists and an iron hand. Another part is basically a ledger of items and treasures stored within the very treasure room you are now. You think that if sold and taken, the entire hoard could be worth about 100,000 gold when adjusted for inflation. Lastly, a part talks about a curse laden within the tomb, that whoever disturbs or seeks to destroy it, will unleash a powerful cursed illness within a large area that can only be removed permanently by destroying its source: a lantern found within the burial chamber of Kam-Karat himself.
Bayrith reads the text over a few times before he turns around and walks around a bit muttering to himself in thought. As he is walking around he stops and pulls out his notebook and begins to write things down. He turns back around to the book and makes sure he got everything down correctly. He then begins to look around the room for a door or a passage that continues on, completely forgetting about the rest of the group due to his damn curiosity.
Bayrith stops short when he hears Narstin yell his name. He turns around and stares at the group for a split second before he starts to walk back towards them. He starts to speak before he even gets to them. "Gentlemen! We have to keep moving, theres more to this structure. It seems to be a burial tomb of some sort I believe." He flips back a few pages on his notebook and reads off of them to the group. (OOC: relays everything about his findings to the group)

Narstin nods. Go ahead and read it, it's the only lead we have so far.
Rosado scratches his head "Maybe read it first ... ye know.. IN YE HEAD?"
Fionn watches the dwarf intently
