Cassia nods her own assent, resettling her pack on her back and combing a hand over her ears. "Will we be walking there then? I assume you have cart or wagon for these 'supplies' of yours. Or are the means of transport in Neverwinter as well?"
"We will be walking to Neverwinter. I will then pick up a wagon and 2 horses there. I and Sildar will go ahead on the horses because I have some business here. You will take the wagon of supplies back here to Barthen's Provisions and Barthen will pay you."

Cassia was marginally worried about Sildar's choice of words and Vanir's subsequent safety, but stickler for accuracy that she was, it was the gender mistake she chose to mention and politely as she could.
"...you mean he. Vanir might have fallen back asleep, but Gwylla..." She casts about for any sign of her fellow female traveler. "I don't know where she's gotten off to. Quiet corner to read maybe?"

Vanir asks Sildar, "How many days will this trip take us? I have a gig in Waterdeep in about two tendays, so if we could make it snappy that would be great."
Vanir doesn't have a gig in Waterdeep, so here is his deception roll for that lie: 24
"The trip there should take about 6 days, and back should be about 5. After this, you can head back to Neverwinter in time for your gig." Despite you failing miserably at lying, he rolled a 4 on insight.
You all start down the Triboar Trail, it takes a few days, but you get to the High Road without any attacks. From there, you go north and eventually reach Neverwinter.
Beowulf is young having seen only 17 summers and "fresh off the farm", he asks Sildar, "Have you ever been to Neverwinter before?" "I've heard that there's a port where great sailing ships dock, and many strange sights and peoples from all over the world can be found there.".
Even from the outside, the city looks giant. You can see the towering walks of the city as Gundren walks in. Sildar stays outside the city looking for any dangers

Beowulf asks Sildar about how to get to the port. He wants to see the ships while he's in Neverwinter.
Once he gets the directions, he sets out at a brisk pace, in order to make a brief visit and then return to the gate of the city (where he left Sildar standing guard) in time to be back before Grunden gets back.
Along the way (as in any urban center, surely can be found) Beowulf selects one poor person with whom he can share a meal and encourage him with the message of his Lord.
Upon arriving back at the gate, he reports to Sildar and awaits further instructions.

It was in fact Cassia's second time in the great city of artisans but the first since her hunt song had been preformed. She had only vague memories and spend a pleasant hour renewing them in a quick tour as they awaited the next leg of their journey. It had been easy enough so far and she was in high spirits, so much so that she volunteered a quick storysong for the youths playing in the square (performance roll - 11 ). She returned to the gates with a skip in her step.
Finding Beowulf there and their instruction just told, she tilted her head and looked between. "Has Gundren gotten his supplies then? Off to this something big? Well, I'm ready. How'bout you, Beowulf?"
(I assume Gundren is there with his supplies? Or is it just Sildar?)

The shopkeeper says a quick "Thank you!" Sildar walks up to you and says "Alright, now that that's settled, let's hear to Neverwinter."

"I'm ready. Somebody check Vanir and make sure he's still awake."
"Anybody seen Gwylla?"
Sildar replies, "Oh, I'll make sure he stays awake."

Beowulf stands ready to begin the journey and makes use of the time while waiting, to sharpen his sword.

Having never been here before, Beowulf can't speak from experience, but he's heard that Neverwinter is a pretty big town.

Sildar tells you that you to go to the north until you hit the river, then follow it west.
