Lazarus would watch as his comrades would take down the final awake creature which left only one. Looking back to Bosko and Sunita, he would call out "Hope everything is looking good on your end!" His words would carry with them healing properties to help Sunita a bit. He would walk swiftly over to the creature at the waters edge, feeling the water around his feet as he would raise his rapier outward and then down at the scaled fiend. "Nighty night you would-be nightmare." He would thrust down at the creature at his feet whilst commenting. "Hehe, nightmare. Because you're asleep."

Sunita feels her injuries fully heal and looks around in confusion before seeing Lazarus looking in her direction, with a smile she moves to his side ready with her dagger.
Sticking both of their blades into the sleeping creature, Lazarus and Sunita quickly end its life.
Just then, another big aftershock rocks the tiny village, and you notice that the area around the beach drops about 5 feet below the surf, and it quickly becomes apparent that Palma Flora is sinking. Amidst the chaos of the screaming beach goers who are all fleeing in all directions, the female half elf hunter that had been attack, yells to you, urging you to accompany her to the ships on the eastern shore and escape.
In the flurry of activity, you hear her refer to the creatures you just killed as Sahaugin.
Meanwhile, you watch as the young tiefling man begins sprinting towards the north shore with many other people, where a single wooden bridge spans a 50-foot channel and connects the island with the mainland. As he takes of running, the half elf screams, "Elanza...NO!!!!"
From your current position near the southern tip of the island, you can head either west, north or east.
East Shore. The village docks are here, and you can see that several ships are already sailing away.
West Shore. You can see that the village is sinking most quickly here, and several beachside houses are already half submerged. Everyone over here is fleeing toward the north shore.
North Shore. Having explored the island a bit earlier, you know that a 50-foot-wide channel separates the two parts of the village after the earthquake splintered the bridge.
It was oddly satisfying both saving people from monsters by killing them and also helping his comrades. Lazarus would pull his weapon effortlessly from the body and give it a good flick to rid it from blood. "Well, I didn't think shark hunting was going to be a land sport." Almost as soon as he had finished, there was a sudden rumble and his feet would lock under him as it felt like the entire island was shaking... and sinking.
He would look down at the water that was rising and then around him. "Holy crap! This place is goin under!" He heard the yells and screams from all over the island but his eyes searched for the only thing that mattered and found Alyndra to which he would yell out to her. "What do you wanna do honey? Do we need to care?!" He would hold his hand up to his mouth to try and get hive voice to carry as far as it could, even if she wasn't that far away.
It was quite something seeing the rest of the group so quickly dispatch the weird hostile fish people. It both left her feeling rather impressed and safe and yet also deeply inadequate at the same time. But any sort of thought scattered as the ground, or sand rather, seemed to shudder before beginning to sink into the ocean. Living in landlocked cities for all of her life, Alyndra immediately felt panicked. It was one thing to read in books about how natural events or even disasters could shape the face of Exandria and it was quite another to experience it first hand. Much much less "interesting" and much more "terrifying". Stopping and starting towards Lazarus as people ran past her, the half elf looked at him incredulously before shouting back with a dash of sarcasm, "Oh, no, who'd care about drowning with a sinking island?!" Before her brain would catch up from her panic and she looked around at where people were running and considering their options. "We can't help anyone if we're drowning too so let's see if the Sea Spirit is still around. Or whatever ship has room."
The other half elf that their group had saved caught her attention, the way she was looking after the tiefling and screaming a name made her think of herself and Lazarus and before Alyndra knew it, she was pointing towards the tiefling to cast Message and try to get his attention, "Elanza! If this island is sinking what makes you think one right next to it won't? Listen to your friend and head to the ships with us."
Looking around she would stick to Lazarus side as they follow along with the other half elf but she would say to her husband, "You're taller and louder, make sure you get our friend's attention so they go the right way."
Sunita looked around in panic, she'd never experienced any sort of tectonic forcesand the idea of being swallowed by the ocean wasn't helping....but all her stuff was in the lodgings....
She saw the couple head towards the ships and nodded calculating how fast she could move.....deciding to risk it she dashed toward the lodgings to get her stuff. Yelling at anyone along the way to head for a boat or ship.
Bosko stands frozen for a moment as the beach rumbles and sinks. He looks across to find his friends, and sees them gathering closer to the surf before Sunita dashes off.
He stows his bear claws, picks up his hat which had somehow fallen off his head during the fight, and starts a loping run towards the ships. The half elf hunter seemed to be sure of of herself when she calls for them to head to the ships, and he is more than happy to take that advice. He keeps an eye out for more of the Sahuagin creatures as he moves.
"Where Sunita go? Must to the ships get!", he calls to her as he moves.
Gathering your possessions, you all begin running towards the ships, rushing past the Rip Tide Tavern, which is now completely deserted. Just north of that, in the center of Flora Isle, you see the wishing pool out of the corner of your eye, above which stands the state of Kord the Storm Lord, patron deity of Palma Flora’s shark hunters. You had seen the statue and pool during your initial exploring of the tiny island, and had watched travelers toss in a silver pieces for good luck.
As you reach the east shore, you see that one ship remains moored to the waterlogged docks. Its crew members are battling sahuagin as well as giant crabs with orange shells and vicious pincers as they attempt to board the vessel. A young villager wearing a bloodstained white robe stands back from the fight and screams an incantation, calling a burst of golden flame down on one of the sahuagin. As you arrive, he turns to you, clearly frightened.
“Are any of you wounded? Those sailors need help, but I can’t get close enough to heal them. But if I heal you, will you please help them?”
Sunita finally got the last buckle done on her armour, " I'm good. I'm going after the fishfolk, someone who hits harder should see about making us some crab-cakes."
She charged past the lad heading for the back of one of the sahuagin with her sword aimed at its spine.
"Fit and well", Bosko says to the healer. "But help will. Need ship for escape".
He watches Sunita charge towards the sea folk, the Sahuagin. He surveys the scene for a brief moment, before deciding that he might well hit fairly hard sometime, especially if he can get the jump on them.
With that he draws his bear claws and charges towards one of the vicious looking crabs.
Eyes drawn to the evidence of bloodshed on the robed boy, Alyndra forced herself to look up and meet his eyes before nodding. "We're fighting fit, more or less. Just stay behind them," Referring to her more melee adept companions. Rushing over to stand by the young man before looking over the disheartening scene. Almost subconsciously, the half elf had taken out one of her pens and had begun twirling it between the fingers of her right hand, green eyes flickering over the ships and combatants. She couldn't in good conscience use her more powerful spells due to their wide and destructive nature considering the sailors and the fact that the fighting was happening on the very ships they needed to get to safety. Holding her pen between her teeth, Alyndra held up her right hand before saying around her pen, "Tormentum!" and flicking her middle finger like she was flicking off a booger or an annoying bit of lint. With that out shot from her finger a translucent purple quill that shot towards one of the Sahuagin. Then she flicked again and again, aiming for another and one of the crabs.
After that she would keep a keen eye on the battlefield to wait for some of the fish or crustacean creatures to cluster up into either a five foot radius or hopefully a ten foot radius with no innocent sailors in the way.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Acting quickly, Alyndra casts her magic missile spell and watches as three purple quills shoot forth from her fingers. Two of the missiles slams into the sahaguins, and the other one flies forth and hits one of the giant crabs. All three explode with a bright burst of purple energy.
The first sahaguin spins around in surprise and retaliates by hucking his spear towards Alyndra. It's a long shot, since she's further away from the normal range of a weapon of this sort. Attack: 14 Damage: 6
However much to her own surprise, the creature throws it with enough power and accurate aim to actually hit her. She feels the pain of the sharp point as it grazes her shoulder.
Lazarus would flick his rapier in front of himself and then point it toward the enemies, as if using it to pinpoint just whom he was aiming to start his attacks on. "Thanks for the help but I'm doin pretty solid.... so far." He would turn to see Alyndra prepping her spell and letting it fly and he would think for a moment before he sees a spear shoot against her shoulder and he would turn in the direction of the sahaguin that threw the weapon. "YOU STUPID REJECT OF WATER AND WASTE!" His voice would echo and be covered in hate and magic, letting his Vicious Mockery coat the words as he began to make his way closer as much as he could without diving into the water.

As Lazarus casts his spell, he can tell that the sahaguin is affected by the magic. The creature flies into a rage that seems to overcome it and even cause it a bit of pain.
Nearby, you see as one of the sailors that's fighting for his life manages to stick the crab that was hit by Alyndra's spell with the tip of his own rapier. However, it's a short lived success, because the giant crab lashes out and grabs him with one of his huge pincer claws. The poor sailor screams from the pain, and you see that he is stuck in the grasp of the crab and cannot escape.
You see that two more of the giant crabs repeats with same kind of attack against two more sailors. However, unlike their companion, both of them manage to wrestle free although, even though they're both injured from the attacks.
