Lazarus would be beside himself as he would simply stand there, his face not changing from the now forced smile as his clothes dripped from the drink that was oh so rudely throw back in his face. "You little Mother f*%er." The words would slide from his lips in a low but almost rumbling fashion. He would clench his fists as he would begin to let the anger set in. If it was some poor fool that knew no better, it would be fine but it was the simple fact that he was also around his wife which made it all the more enraging. He didn't notice the Goliath and when the Kenku offered their hand and was just as disrespected, Lazarus felt his hand start to move on its own but would stop as he heard a familiar voice through his mind.
His eyes would shift a bit but would let himself straighten his posture in an almost rigid manner, almost forced as he aimed to keep his composure. "I just...I just wanted to enjoy a drink with my new acquaintances and, just, f*#k. I just wish you'd just..." He would move his hand to his side, thumbing on the small hand drum attached to his hip with what would seem to be to contain his anger but there was a spell in the works as a bit of sand would bounce from the canvas of the drum. "Sleeptill we figure something out about how you'll be paying for my drinks."
The words would seemingly slide from his mouth as he kept his eyes on the drunk but his real targets were the would-be thieves. He wasn't about being a hero but he felt that if they did well enough, the tender would seemingly offer them a bit more than simple free samples and he figured his love would be thinking something the same.

Upon hearing Alyndra's exclamation, "Oh goodness, I do hope you three are paying for all those!", the wine seller turns around, sees what's going on, and shouts in surprise, before addressing his two stock boys with an incredulous, alarmed tone.
"What the...?! Thomas, Victor, what in heaven's name are you doing?!
Just then, you hear the dull patter of sand bouncing off of Lazarus's drum as he speaks a few words and points at the suspects at the back of the cart.
Both stock boys drop suddenly, falling into a magical slumber, as does one of the thieves. The other two thieves turn to look at you with surprise, their deception obviously blown. Rather than stay and fight, though, they simply grab their packs, spin around and start running, each one taking off in a different direction; one up the street, and across the busy square.
Bosko watches the three men closely, and beyond them sees the city street with all the people. He grunts and puts his bear claw back in it's sheathe. Using weapons out in the open here will only cause more trouble.
Now in position he hears the half elf call out the thieves, and the stall owner start to berate his stock boys. Then the stock boys and one thief collapse to the floor. From his position he can't see whether they are dead or unconscious, but the other two start to flee.
He darts out of his position behind the cart. "Don't think so. You not get away", he says as he strikes out at the thieves with his long arms and bare furry fists. Not trying to cause serious damage, more to knock them out.
(OOC: Hoping the below feature applies here. If he can't reach both he will hit the same one with each attack) (OOC 2 : Just realised you cannot use two weapon fighting unarmed, so scratch the bonus action attack))
Surprise Attack
If you hit a creature with an attack roll, the creature takes an extra 2d6 damage if it hasn’t taken a turn yet in the current combat.
Launching forward, Bosko surprises both of the thieves, who are just taking foot to flee in opposite directions. He catches one of them with his large, furry fist, connecting with a pretty hard hit just below the man's shoulder blade as he races by. The guy lets out a groan, but keeps running, as does his partner.
Narumi looks down at the half-elf before seeing the thieves taking off. "Now this is more my speed!" She leaps towards the uninjured one. "You should stop now before I get angry!" She chases towards him, shoving her way through the crowd.
A smirk pulling at the corner of her mouth as she watched the two stock boys and one of the thieves drop to the grounds utterly unconscious, Alyndra then watched with a groan as the other two began to run. The bugbear tried to get one of them to stop by attacking them, but both keep running. Meeting Lazarus' eyes for just a moment, the half elf comes to a decision and shakes her head with a sigh before cupping her hands and calling out to the giant woman and bugbear (assuming he was also pursuing) "Pace yourselves! And don't kill them!" Moving around the back where the sleeping cons were, she said to the merchant, "I think your Thomas and Victor were in on it sir. Does this one or the drunk seem familiar to you at all?" Could be that they were just the stockboys' sneaky friends but one never new. "We should probably make sure they can't run away when they wake up and flag over a guard."
Bosko grumbles under his breath, he can't in all conscience let the thief get away without at least trying to stop him. He briefly looks in the direction the second thief went, and sees the Goliath lady start to chase, and then sets off after his own quarry.
He utilises his innate Bugbear sneakiness to make his way through the crowd without bundling into other folk, and tries to keep himself hidden from the view of the thief, hoping he will stop running if he believes he isn't being followed.
He hears the half elf shout after him. It was kind of her to offer advice, but he is not new to the hunt, and in truth if he wanted the thief dead, he already would be! He thinks with a low chuckle.
Sneaky: You are proficient in the Stealth skill. In addition, without squeezing, you can move through and stop in a space large enough for a Small creature.
Launching off with his powerful legs, Bosko takes off running after the thief that he managed to tag with his fist. The man tries to disappear into the crowd, and for a moment, the bugbear thinks that he lost him, but with his keen eyes and sense of awareness, he spots his quarry and continues his pursuit.
Sprinting down the street, Bosko does his best to keep up with the man, who displays a surprising amount speed and agility dodging through the throngs of people. At one point, he pushes his way through a thick grouping of people, knocking a couple of them violently to the ground as he passes, and once again, Bosko finds himself trying hard to keep him in sight. After a few seconds, though, Bosko sees him, and races ahead in the right direction, although the pause causes him to lose some distance on the man and he watches him get an even bigger lead down the street.
Through all of this, the man doesn't pay much attention to where her pursuer is, he just keeps fleeing as fast as he can, so Bosko realizes that his stealth isn't much of a factor in this chase.
In addition, the sudden sprint leaves Bosko pretty winded. Normally, he's quite strong and fit, but for whatever reason, maybe the heat, the unfamiliar territory, the cider, or maybe he just wasn't quite ready for an all out run, the bugbear finds himself breathing quite heavily with his heart racing, which causes him to tire a bit. In trying to catch his breath, Bosko's pace slows, and he watches as the man quickly turns a corner up ahead and disappears. By the time Bosko rounds the corner, the man is gone, nowhere to be seen amongst the crowd of pedestrians.

Meanwhile, the wine vendor at the stall looks on with shock and a mixture of anger and disbelief as the situation unfolds. Answering Alyndra, he says,
"Why would Thomas and Victor be a part of this? They've generally been good employees, though I will admit, both of them are somewhat new to the company. I can't believe they would help someone steal from us. And no, I do not recognize this man who was apparently acting as some sort of decoy."
"Yes, we should indeed make sure they can't run away when they wake up... for they certainly have some questions they'll need to answer."
Lazarus would watch as the men would flee and both the Bugbear and Goliath would be in hot pursuit but between himself and Alyndra, they, without the need for magic or mind-reading, knew one another all too well. "They can have fun with that." He would simply say as he would rest his hand over the small drum at his hip as if to give it a simple 'job well done'. He would then look over to the passed out individuals and let his wife speak with the vendor as she had more a way with the more humanoid factions and he was more than willing to let it go until he needed to interject himself.
He would sort of lose himself in the thought of just what kind of price the stolen goods would go for, maybe they might 'lose' a few. He would snap back as he heard the mention of enchantment and he would look around. "Bout a minute or so. You got some rope or should I just pile em up and sit on em?"
Bosko curses under his breath as the thief escapes his sight, this was not like the usual hunts he undertakes. The city streets and pedestrians make it far more difficult. Still breathing quite heavily, he looks for somewhere to climb up a little and get a better view. He is taller than most, but it was too easy for this person to blend into the crowd.
They could also change their clothing, he thinks to himself. Best to watch for the bag rather than the thief.
If necessary, he will say a few simple, "Beg pardon", comments in his gruff voice as he looks to climb on a cart or crate or window sill.

The well-dressed "proper" wine vender gets a shocked look on his face at the mention of Lazarus sitting on the two men. Then he responds, "I do have some spare rope, but I don't know if I could untie the crate it's on in less than a minutes... Ummm.... I suppose....errr... sitting on them would suffice..."
Assuming that Lazarus complies, he drops his large firbolg frame onto the torsos of the two sleeping men. In just over a half minute, Thomas and Victor begin to stir beneath his fur covered frame and make desperate grunting noises, obviously surprised and disoriented, completely confused about how they ended up like this.
-----------------
From his position down the street, Bosko spots a particular stall that looks like it be easy to get on top of. After saying the obligatory "pardons," he quickly scrambles up on top to get a better view over the heads of the people in the crowd. The proprietor of the stall and the few customers he has in front look on with a bewildering stare as the bugbear climbs up on top of the wooden structure.
Unfortunately, Bosko is unable to spot the assailant, even from his heightened vantage point. Whoever it was, did an effective job of getting away.
Just as Bosko had begun his chase, Narumi took off after the other one. The thief had gotten the jump on her and had sprinted ahead away from the stall with a head start, but with strong legs, she was right behind him. He did his best to try and evade her in the crowd, dodging behind other stalls, weaving around the crowds, but Narumi never lost sight of him and stayed right on his tail.
After sprinting about two hundred feet or so, Narumi saw the thief begin to slow down, obviously starting to tire form the all out sprint. However, as she tried to make up the ground, she also began to feel the lactic acid filling up in her legs, with her heart raced and her lungs working overtime from the sudden all-out exertion. Determined not to let off, though, she kept going and didn't lose any ground as he continued to race through the streets. At one point, the chase when right by a pair of Zhelezo, but they were apparently distracted, dealing with a belligerent drunkard who was bothering people at another stall.
After another couple hundred feet, the thief, who, by this time, had stopped trying to evade her with stealth and agility, and was simply trying to outrun her, began to slow down even more. His legs and lungs were obviously no match for the powerful Goliath and her superior endurance. Ignoring her own fatigue, Narumi steadily began to close the distance on him, and after another 60 feet, she finally caught up.
With a final lunge, Narumi threw herself upon the man in a tackle that sent both of you to the ground, with the thief suddenly finding himself pinned, somewhat painfully, beneath the much, much larger, and powerful, muscle bound barbarian.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chuckling a little at the respectable merchant's reaction to being robbed right under his nose, the half elf shrugged, "You'd be surprised. Maybe they were being threatened or maybe they're just desperate or maybe you've slighted them in some way. That's up for the guard to figure out if they're so inclined. Speaking of which... I'll go flag one down if you have everything pinned down here?" She glanced first at her husband with a smile seeing him sitting on the three other men before green eyes flicked to the kenku who was by the "drunk". Assuming things were handled and she wasn't stopped by the wine vendor, Alyndra would step away to look for the nearest Zhelezo to either wave over or go speak with to explain the situation.
Narumi smiles down at the small man beneath her. "You get to come with me now. Back to the vendor." She picks him up like a sack of potatoes and begins heading back to the stall. As she approaches the stall, Narumi waves at everyone. "I got one! An easy challenge for any of my tribe."
Lazarus would nod in agreement as he would clasp his hands together and begin to rub them in a mild amusement. "Alrighty then, time to do some work." He would wave lightly at the half elf as she began to leave in a small bid of farewell as he would make his way over to the culprits. Each seemed just small enough that he would be able to pull them together and then just as easily plop right down on them, almost like a warped bed of sorts. "Not the most comfortable but I have definitely had worse." He would then look up at the vendor and then back down at the two under his frame as they began to stir. "You move to much, I might have to actually drop some more weight on ya. And believe me, I don't think anyone would want that. Don't tell anyone but I think I've been putting on a couple of pounds here lately." He would say in a joking manner.
As you climb down from the top of the sturdy wooden stall and ask for a sample, the proprietor looks at you with surprise, and a bit of confusion, but them regains his composure and says, "Why of course! Is that now why were are here? How about a nice, dry white, served cool to help ward off the heat of the day?"
Assuming that the bugbear takes the free sample, he does find it to be a bit on the sweet side, not quite as dry as he might have expected, if indeed he had any expectations or experience with wine, but it does go down easy, and the slight coolness of the drink does taste rather good on a warm afternoon.
After it's finished, you walk back to the booth and find Tap there, as well as Lazarus, who is sitting on both of the stock boys.
Alyndra
Alyndra doesn't have to go vary far to find a Zhelezo guard, and in fact, just a short walk up the street, she finds one patrolling in front of one of the stages, where a tabaxi duo is playing some sea faring jigs and reels. And what timing, because, no sooner do you come across this Zhelezo, do you see Narumi walking back down the street towards you with one of the thieves slung over her massive shoulders. Her quarry seems a little bit out of it and his clothes are covered in dust, you would guess from probably being handled a bit roughly by the Goliath when she caught him.
----------
Back at the stall, Thomas and Victor begin to grumble beneath Lazarus, but they don't try and squirm much, knowing full well that they have little chance of escaping the much larger firbolg who's perched right on top of them.
The wine vendor stoops and says to the two captives, "Boys, what in the world have you gotten mixed up with?"
Neither of them answer, so he continues, in a much more stern tone of voice.
"Well, whatever your reason for this most disloyal and criminal transgression, you do know that you have made a grave mistake and that swift punishment will come to you."
