Gorm's skilled attacks make the Queen screech in pain, and it seems obviouly debilitated by them and the ret of the attack it has suffered.
Having being in several hunts, both the desert nomad and Logan know that her natural instinct should be fleeing now, but it seems that the fire behind her and the death of her offspring had driven her mad and she growls and prepares to attack once more, even when the etheral whip of the drow hit her in the face, leaving a slim but painful line of blood in its face.
Gorm feels part of the wounds caused by the acid heal, as the drow mutters a word in a strange language that make her hairs stand, and touches the tiefling, she can feel the burns from the acid healing under it.
Dr. A, and Logan knows that it is now or never, before it can unleash some more lethal acid or finish them with her claws.

Dr A. magic strikes the mind of the Queen once more, making it roar in pain and madness. It tries to bite down Logan, extending her long neck but the warrior is ready and puts his shield above his head while he ducks a little bit and protects his head. He take a step forwards, with the head of the creature stil above his shield and punches with his longsword upwards, crossing the Queen's neck side to side and piercing the creature's braing.
The massive kruthik gurgles, a spam runs through her as the body goes limp. Logan moves quickly and pulls out his sword while moving aside. The creature corpse falls to the ground, the tail moves a little bit tryng to launch another spike but it lies motionless before could do it.
The only sound remaining is the fire behind them, slowly diminishing now.
"Well.. that should do it "says a cold voice from their backs. "You've done well. Maybe I'll keep you as my personal slave human... "the drow says to Logan not hiding the lust in her voice "You on the other hand "she says to Thandril " You must die, you understand... Believe me I am doing you a favor. Better to bring your head as a trophy than face what the High Matrons would do to you. I am being gracious to show you that I can be thankful for your help in ending this thing... Slaves"she say to Gorm, Dr. A. and Logan "Kill him. Fast I want to be going."
Gorm flicks some of the blood off he sword then slowly turns to look at the new arrival. Are they alone? Do they have support with them perhaps hiding in the shadows or anything? (Perception: Nat 1) Gorm has no idea, she wouldn't have noticed this woman if she hadn't opened her mouth.
"I've not known Thandril long enough to be particularly attached yet," Gorm says with a bit of a shrug. "But I am nobodies slave."
(Same initiative? New initiative? Gorm would not hesitate to attack as being a slave is just not acceptable at all...)
Dr A cups a claw (paw, hand, take you pick) to where his ear (Tortles don’t have ears just a ear hole) would be and peers shortsightedly at the Drow “Ahbut did you say thanks for helping me out there as I had no desire to be that creature’s slave. The drow look at the party and smiles. The etheral whip cracks the air as it flies over their heads and goes next to her.
"What I said is that you have obtained your liberty for your participation into destroying this threat to our patrols. I will not include you in my report, so you will not be pursued... but I will not forget you. " she looks at Logan. "Specially you... such fire in your heart... waiting to be tamed... are you sure you don't want to come with me? No? hm your loss... "
She moves up to the passege and looks Dr. A. one last time as she goes into the darkness of the corridor, and smirks, the ethereal whip following her

I must be honest I do not know if we would have been able to defeat her should she would have decided to make her threats reality... "he takes a deep breath and produces three silvery litte spheres of light as the one coming from the burning eggs is subsiding, it reminds Gorm the light of the stars in the desert night.
"I suggest that we destroy any remaining eggs that could be left, as gruesome task this could be and..." he falls silent as he notices what his light is producing. Illuminated by the magical light of Thandril a mineral is reacting to it in the walls, floor and ceiling of the huge chamner. Running throught it like a glimmering web or like the flow of dozens of rivers. The elf only says one word in his own language but all of them understand it.
”Thank you, Thandril—we all fought well, and hopefully we eliminated a threat to the region. I do worry about the drow, though she may have been bluffing. Being left out of her report is probably the best we can hope for,” says Logan.
He starts the grim task of thrusting his Longsword into the eggs, killing the young before they can eat more sentients.

Gorm still seethes and is eager to follow after the drow woman who dared suggest she could be made a slave but seeing the others relent and relax as the woman departed Gorm restrains herself and also allows her to leave without incident.
"Perhaps I was being unkind to the dwarves. Perhaps they planted the insects here to keep the drow in check," she suggests.
"We should not dawdle here. I do not trust that woman to not return with others..."
Blinking out of his trance looking at the mithril Thandril kindly accepts Dr. A's help and replies to Gorm.
"I highly doubt it, specially if they found the Mithril. I suggest that we do mine here, and get as many as we could. I can forge the weapons that family need in their struggle and I can forge you a couple of weapons or a suit of armor if we mine enough. Believe me, you are not going to regret it. This... this is a real treasure my friends. And I wouldn't worry about that drow. She said that their own scouts were dissapearing due to this creatures, but she is proud enough not to accept that she was captured and we saved her. She helped sure, but I do think that it was more for self-preservation that her good heart. They are treacherous and dangerous people the drow... distant cousins of my own people... a real pity they walked so far from the light and goodness"
Recalling the picks and other mining tools they found, Logan says, “I agree that we should mine here—we have found what we needed and more. Tell me, Thandril, what would be the properties be of weapons or armor made of this metal? Beyond perhaps affecting lycanthropes?”

The eagle looks over her shoulder to Gorm and squeaks.
"She says that it will be the smarter decision" translates Thandril with a light tone.
He then goes to the dwarves table, followed by Logan and start speaking in their tongue, obviosuly introducing himself and Logan before switching to the common tongue after one of them reply in kind.
" Logan, allow me to introduce you to Gralgorm, Gramkyl, Armgram, Rangarn and Bramgron of the noble clan of the Firestones. " each dwarf nods as their name is spoken "You see, it has been taken into our attention that some miles to the southwest of here lies an old dwarven mine, a silver mine to be more precise, that now lay abandoned. We happen to be in dire need of silver to solve a werewolf problem, and we were asking two things. One, we didn't want to... " he hesitates looking for the right word " take away what't not ours to take, so we think it would be a good idea to ask you if that's ok if we go there and try our luck. Also, perhaps you alrady have an interest in the place, and our objectives may aling."
The dwarves share looks among themselves and a couple of them take a long sip of their beers.
"We do not know nothing of such mines. Go and do what you want" says Bramgron, really uncomfortable.
Logan:
”I seem to recall we asked the dwarves about the mine, and we were given explicit permission to do what we wanted,” replies Logan.
”Though I am not a miner either, I can learn quickly,” he adds, hefting one of the picks and trying it out on the stone around the Mithral vein.

"Mining is basically digging, no? I'm sure we can all do that," Gorm says begrudgingly. "And that is the reason we came here in the first place. No point throwing up our hands and giving up now..."
And with that Gorm grabs a pickaxe and looks around for a good starting spot. She doesn't throw herself fully into the effort, a part of her continues looking aroun d, specifically back to the entrance, regularly for more drow or more bugs... But if the decision is to dig here then dig here she shall.
“Ahbut I’m too old for manual labour” Dr A comments as he starts examines the veins of mithril closely interested in how the precious ore presents itself in its original state.
"Indeed they do" says Thandril when Logan recalls what the dwarves said "And even if they weren't probably the former owners or miners of this place and I would bet that they didn't know about the mithril or they would have come back and kill all the creatures. And hopefully that drow didn't noticed it. We couldn't mine all of it but enough. And don't you worry smithing is kind of a... family thing so I would be happy to create something for you. I am no epxert on mining myself but... I think it couldn't be so hard... "
After a few hours of hard work you all notice that it is, in fact, a hard work. But you manage to collect enough ore to make yourselves something fancy.
Thandril talks exictely to you while you work, telling you that a suit of armor made of mithril would be lighter and touhgter than a regular one, allowing you even walk in silence. He also says that the material is easily enchanted, pointing at his own sword, apparently made from the same material.
Thought they were tired, they decied to move the ore at least back to the chamber were the shaft ends and think on their next move, but they make it just to the other side of the collapsed wall before they had to call it a day. They make shifts, just in case there are more creatures or the drow decide to come back with reinforcements, but they get a good night sleep, or at least as good as the conditions allow them.
Next day, or their better approximation to a next day, with muscle pains but still motivated to carry their treasure with them they finally make up to the chamber where they first entered to proper mines and look up, looking for a way to climb with that ore.
