Here you got the lore drop that sets the premises of our campaing
After that you decided not to go to Candelkeep for you have all the information ( and had been using the books from there for the gnome were taking some of them from there magically ) then you decided to go and search for Thandril and then head to Neverwinter. You got two ideas. One, to search information about the artifact that presumably prevents the dragons to fall into rage and join the Flight of Dragons and to search for some cultist and try to reach some mid-high level one and get more information of their goals. Chiara will go back to Suzail and try to warn the authorities about the upcoming Flight of Dragons.
Thandril smirks " I am pretty sure that we can find methods of flying quite fast from my home to almost anywhere you want to go..."
”Ah, excellent. Let’s get you home safely, then,” suggests Logan. He turns to his companions and asks, “Shall we head for Cormanthor?”
”Doctor A, can you tell us about the magical items you identified?” he adds, “Some of them may be of use to us (I think we only got info on 2 of the 4 due to tooltip issues).

Gorm seems less than enthusiastic about escorting Thandril home but she is not against the idea either. It just doesn't seem to move forward their investigation of the dragons or their mysterious flight which could ruin all... But she also doesn't think they have a solid lead to follow on that path anyway so she can't much argue against a little side trip.
Based on his result in Post #1008 (7 rolled - I.e. a natural ‘1’) Dr A responds to Logan’s in a very uncertain tone - which is very unlike his normal utterances - “Ahbut my young friend I truly know not. All I can do is bind up your wounds and keep a close eye on you - particularly when the moon is full!”
Thandril asks the others for a minute and goes back to the wolves den and enters. After a few minutes he comes out carrying a wooden staff, carved with symbols that neither of them recognize and something big rolled under a blanket.
" I do think that it will be in our benefit to visit the family that first talked to me about this pack of werewolves. This "he says raising the staff a little bit "belongs to them now. And I think it would be better if we burn this"he says tapping the blanket. "I think that's the best burial we can give to him giving the circumstances. He was the head of the family... " he hesitates " no pun intended " he says referring to the severed head of the great bear that were at the alpha's room.
After doing so, they head deep into the forest until they reach a cove were a stream rolls under a small hill. There is a cave entrance near the stream but atop of the hill there is a small house. A small clear in the treetops let a sunbeam fall upon it. Smoke with pine smell raises up from the chimney. They can hear the laughter of a couple of child inside.
As they step into the clearing to cross the stream a huge black bear appears from the cave and runs towards them. Raising on her rear legs it reaches thirteen feet and let out a mighty roar.
Thandril steps forward, without his weapons and claims.
"Be calm Tadg! It's me and I bring friends... I have completed my word..." he says raising the staff before him.
The bear looks down to the elf, and it seems to shrink. Her body transforms and as if falling rain cleared the mud of her, before the party's eyes the bear turns into a woman. Covered in pelts, still tall, taller than Logan, and with red, curly head long to the middle of her back.
"I see you bring his staff " she takes it from Thandril's hands, slowly, with reverence. After a few moments with her eyes closed she says "So, you have kept your word, and found my husband. I do hope that you have ended this evil threat to the woods... " she looks to the rest of the party for the first time with bright green eyes. "I do see by your faces that it is so. And that it hasn't been an easy task. My name is Tadg "she introduces herself to the others " And I welcome you to my home. Please tell me. How did my husband died? "
Gorm is immediately on guard as the bear appears and starts running at them but seeing the calm of Thandril she restrains herself from doing much more than taking up a defensive and ready stance. She leaves her swords sheathed for the moment. As Thandril begins to talk to the creature Gorm believes she gets the truth of what is going on and relaxes a bit but finds herself confused...
"We killed those weres for these weres?" Gorm asks of Logan and the doctor in a quiet and confused voice. "I thought we were saving people, not taking sides in a territorial dispute..." The words are spoken to her companions quiet enough that she wouldn't be surprised if Thandril overhead but such that she would be if the werebear did.
Wariness gives way to courtesy as the bear reveals herself to be a lady. “You could have warned us,” says Logan quietly to Thandril before speaking up and saying, “Greetings Lady Tagd, we were happy to oblige, given the death the werewolves were bringing to the people of the region.”
To Gorm Logan replies, ”I do not know much about lycan culture, but it is entirely possible these bearkin are peaceful and defensive where the wolfkin were aggressive and murderous. All the same, let’s stay alert.”

Dr A backs up Logan’s statement to Gorm as follows “Ahbut it is my understanding that Logan is correct and that Bearfolk whilst territorial are not generally aggressive!”
"The dispute with the werewolves " says Tadg, it seems that acute senses comes with all skinchangers " was not for territory, but for survival, not only for my family but the whole wood and region... rest assured, that your efforts were for the greater good..." she says with a smirk. "But that doesn't mean that I am ungrateful about it. About if my people aren't agressive... wel.. better not threaten one of us or you will find how wrong you are on that assumption... but what we care about is the balance of the woods... and that was broken, dangerously if I can say, when the arrival of that ambitiuos Alpha."
”Please excuse our surprise, we were led to believe that simple farmer folk were to be helped by aiding this wandering elven ranger—true enough, as far as it goes, though with an important detail or two omitted. Prince Thandril seems to have a true gift for understatement,” Logan responds with a wry smile.

Looking around for the being who communicated directly to his mind, Logan looks a bit confused.
“Some of us were bitten during the fight,” adds Logan, “and I have heard tales that a form of this lycanthropy can be transmitted in such a way. Is there any way we could be checked for infection from the werewolves?”

Gorm also starts a bit at the voice in her head... Was it perhaps Thandril himself? Or his eagle?
But then she is quickly shooting darts at Logan with her eyes. She would rather have not involved the werebears in the possibility of their troubles. Firstly she thought the likelihood of any of them being infected was slim but if they are... Would the werebears be sympathetic to their plight? She thinks it possible they may just be pragmatic about the matter and try to eliminate any chance of a new wolfpack forming.
"I see... if you are infected... the curse will manifest in the next full moon. I suggest you spend that night locked up afar from your loved ones. " she pauses "The first time everyone loses control... Have someone keep an eye on you. If you turn, I am sorry for you. Ask that someone to end your misery swiftly. If you don't turn that first full moon night. You will be fine. "
Gorm scowls not believing the bear. Seems to her it's most likely just tribalism and propaganda. She does, however, glance up into the sky and idly wonder just when the next full moon is.
"Yes, well, Thandril here got us to wipe out the wolves so you can hibernate in peace now," she replies.
"More than I and my family could have a peaceful winter now thanks to you. "
She walks alongside the stream and picks up some moss from a stone inside it.
"Take this "she offers to the party. "When the moon comes, if you feel that you are going to change... this could help you...she stares at them for a moment. "Now how I can be of more service to you"
"Well... we need to go to Cormanthor as soon as possible... my friends are in an important quest and we are in quite a hurry... I was wondering if you could help us..."
She nods and motion her head for you to follow. She walks nearby to a great oak whose branches extend to cover almost 30 feet from the trunk.
"I can ask the spirits of the woods if they can take you when you need to be. But be aware. This tree is old, and doesn't like to be awakened or disturbed. I do not know how much time he will keep the portal open.. "
"Thank you " replies Thandril. She just nods and begin a chant in a language that none of you can understand. The runes carved in the staff that Thandril had returned to her begin to glow with a greenish light and as she waves it it seems that little fireflies sprout from it and reach the trunk. Soon there is a line of greenish lights forming a vertical line in the tree. With the sound of creaking wood the trunk opens, making a hole surrounded by the motes of light. At the other side a dense forest can be seen.
"Quick now" she says "If you want to reach your destination."
