Gorm is impressed by the magic more than the moss. Still reluctant though. She is eager to rush through the hole in the tree and be done with the bears but she looks to Thandril to either lead the way or at least confirm the destination beyond looks correct...

Bowing to the werebear, he says, “Thank you for your aid. Fair weather and good harvest to you,” as he strides towards the tree opening, though he does look to Thandril for confirmation before he steps through.

Dr A chooses not to say anything when the women says that there is nothing which can be done to arrest the progression of lycanthropy an that is not his understanding of the disease. However, as the the three party members step into the portal he says to both in an aside "ahbut while backwoods people such as Lady Bear may believe you can do nothing to arrest the progression of the lunar disease, I do not believe this is really the case. Assuming that you both want to rid yourselves of the disease - which may not be the case as some martial types feel that once controlled it can be of benefit - once we reach Cormanthor I will reach out to more senior members of my order and seek their advice on cures."
Thandril nods to the werebear druid and steps forward crossing to the other woodland. The party follows and they can hear the creak of the bark closing behind them.
They are still behind the canopy of tall trees but this ones are like no other they had seen. The wood in the trunk is white, almost glowing in silvery light under the moon rays that come down from the golden canopy formed by the big, golden leaves that hang above them.
"Welcome to my home" says Thandril with a smile. "We are very close to Mithendil. Come, soon we will find my people"
Gorm's jaw drops a little and she takes a moment to slowly turn around and take in the new sights - she is unused to sight magics or so an abrupt change of location. "That was... sudden..." she says to nobody in particular.
Gorm follows Thandril, perhaps occasionally falling a few steps behind as she is still lost in the sense of these new woods and the magical sense of them... But she is careful to never stray too far behind.
As the small group of wanderers walk through the forest a song begins to sound around them. It seems that the leaves and the branches and the trees themselves are suddenly able to sing and play a beautiful, cheerful music. Thandril smiles
"They know I am here, they welcome us. Come now, we are not far"
He keeps walking and the rest notice that they are not walking alone. following their same direction there are more and more figures, elves that, wearing cloaks similar to Thandril, seems to appear and follow them. Soon they start to surround Thandril, greeting them and singing of joy, for their Prince has returned. He speaks with one of them, Gorm and Logan notices that this one wears a studded leather armor, and he nods to Thandril and takes the lead, making it easier for them to cross the crowd that is gathering. It seems that the news of the return of the prince are spreading. It didn't pass long before they start to greet the party too, smiling at them and calling them Eldandin. Thandril takes them to a grove, where the big trees seems to form a circular plateau. In the center of that circle there is a spring that comes down the other and forms a stream. There there is an elven maiden, tending to some yellow flowers that surround the spring. She is dressed in a green moss tunic and carries a cloak made of leaves and moss. Her long blonde hair falls free over the cloak. When Thandril enters the circle she turns and runs to her with a smile, her bare feet not disturbing the flowers or the grass. They exchange some words in elvish and she turns to you. Her golden eyes and her beauty leave you breathless. Before she speaks she looks each of you in the eyes for a second.
"My son tells me that you have saved his life and aided him in the completion of a perilous task. I welcome you to our home. I am Laurefindil. Please stay with us tonight. Dinner with us. We will sing songs and tale tales of old. "
Bowing deeply, Logan says, "You are most gracious, Lady Laurefindil. We would be pleased to join you this evening. Thank you for your hospitality."
Suddenly aware of his travel-stained clothes and sweaty armor, Logan feels rather coarse and vulgar compared to these elegant elves. He falls silent again.

Gorm tenses when she first hears the music of the forest, first notices others trailing and following... But she quickly comes to realize there is no threat here, only the return of a popular hero. The details may be different, but her people have a similar welcoming return when one has proven themselves worthy of their swords, she hopes to earn it herself some day.
The forest and the grove are unlike anything she has seen before, it is like nature structured by those around it. But not through force or pruning, but cooperation? It is surely beyond her understanding but she finds it quite beautiful.
"We would be most thankful for the rest before we continue on with our perilous task. Thank you," Gorm replies to Laurenfindil, giving her a small but formal nod. Unaware of Logan's self-consciousness about his appearance, Gorm is of quite the opposite mindset. She wears the stains and toils of battle and adventure as badges, proof she is doing the work of a warrior. She feels no need to hide the fact.
Dr A’s ears - do tortles have ears - prick up at the sound of ‘tales of old’ ass hopefully they will learn more information about dragons and their time that will be of assistance in their quest.
"Come" says Thandril "I'll take you to your chambers and we will meet later for the dinner. My father will be there too."
Their friend leads them to the entrance of one building that has been carved into one of the massive trees, or it has been grown that way to form a elegant and beautiful house? It is hard to say, but the rooms that they are given are spacious, comfortable and they even had their own private bathroom where they can relax before the dinner. When they come back to their bedrooms from the bathrooms the elves had left there some new clothes for them.
It is hard to tell exactly how much time pass before some elves come to their rooms and guide them through the branches ( wait, when they had climbed to the treetops? no... they are not that high for the treetops are still several feet up their heads ) to a clear, or a room surrounded by slim columns that climb up to form a white vaulted ceiling above their heads. In the center there is a round table that also seems to have grown and they take a seat there. Thandril is already there with his mother and another elf, with the same silver hair and silvereyes that Thandril has that stands when they enter.
"Greetings and welcome I am Finwion Celebhen and I am both grateful for your help and honored that you have joined us tonight. Please, take a seat, leave your worries behind tonight and let us eat and drink, sing and listen and enjoy."
Gorm does her best to act dignified and well mannered. She doesn't pull it off well. It is obvious she is not used to such cultured or formal surroundings or people but she does at least know enough to try to make the effort. She may be a barbarian but she's not a... errr, well... nevermind.
A night of food and drink and relaxation does sound good though so she bows he head and mutters a "thank you" as she takes a seat.
Gratefully resting and cleaning himself before dinner, Logan spends some time caring for his armor and then hangs it and his clothing so it can air out and dry. He changes into the elven clothing and show up at the dinner, refreshed and relaxed.
Bowing, Logan expresses his thanks and sits as indicated.

Dr A takes the time before dinner to update his journal and make a list of the questions he will ask of the elves that evening. When the party is introduced to Finwion he bows and introduces himself as a scholar of the arcane. He then to sits as indicated.
The dinner isn't quite as they would have imagine for elven royalty. They all are quite relaxed and soon they are laughing telling the tell of their shared adventures. The fights were quite hard, the creatures they fought, both in the abandoned mines and in the werewolves den, were terrific, but now they focus more in making fun of themselves than other thing. Thandril mimics his own hands tied and how he tried to fight on them, Logan reminds the moment that he was about to hit one kuthrik with his shield but Gorm had already taken it down and he almost tripped on the body... then they move to more pleasant topics, when they talk about the goings of the creatures of the woods, and the passing of the moon since Thandril left home, apparently a couple of years ago. Talking about how he had honed his skills, Thandril points out that he has forged his friends new weapons and his father asks them to show him.
With their permission, someone is sent to their rooms to recover the weapons and Finwion takes them and looks at them with analizing eyes.
"It is a great work indeed " he says returning the blades to Gorm and Logan "but I do feel that their abilities are... unfinished. Not because Thandril was interrupted, but because he lacked at the moment of the precise elements that would be needed to finish the proper enchantments. But it is not too late if you allow me to help you."
Enjoying himself immensely, Logan makes sure during the course of their stories that their primary mission concerning the dragon cult is emphasized, hoping that some of the following storytelling will shed some light on the subject from the elves’ perspective.
He also shares his concern about having been bitten by the werewolf, hoping it did not give him any type of disease.
At the mention of the weapons, Logan says, “Thandril said as much, that here the weapons could be further refined. I would be honored if you would take the time and effort to further improve them.”

Would any of your healers be able to help?” He pauses and then says “and on a different matter I would appreciate talking to your loremasters about the time of dragons and any portents of a possible return they have observed!”
The queen and the king exchange a look and they speak.
"Many issues sholud be taken care of. " says Laurefindil. "As for the wolf curse, you can drink the waters of the Fountain of Sheanine. It will clean your soul for the taint of the shapechangers. But be aware. The spirit of the wolf is a strong and old one, but it only reflect and strength what's in our own souls. The wolves can be ruthless and fall prey to their own hungry and fury, but they are also fierce protectors of their families and guardians of their territories, granting the old, young and weak to prosper and thrive. They help keep the balance in the woods and the mountains. Sometimes, the spirit of the wolf find a soul kin to them, and they merge as one. In this cases not even the water can clean it but it helps to the fusion, making it easier to control the beast. "
"I will do what I can to provide you with weapons strong enough for the tasks you have ahead. For you Gorm Diabhal, I'll summon the powers of Aerdire Faenya and Tethrin Verálde, to make your weapons swift and deadly. "
"And for you, steamed scholar "says Laurefindil to Dr. A. " I will grant you clothes that will help you in your quest. Do not worry, you will prove that knowledge is a sharper weapon that steel."she says with a confident smile to Dr. A.
"And knowledge is what we can offer. "adds Finwion. He takes a deep breath and the mood changes, even imperceptible, but it's there. When he begins to talk again some of the relaxed mood has changed to a more somber one.
"We do remember the histories of the time when the dragons overlords ruled over all. It was not only over us, or the rest of the races, but over the whole world. The land, the woods, the air, the water, the fires that burn in the deepest roots of earth... all were at their disposal to bend to their bidding. It was a dark time. But we learned. Trough pain, suffering and patience we learnt. Our most talented and powerful wizards were born in that era and their learnt the secrets of the Wave at a great cost to many."
"But not all the dragon overlords were... tyrants. Some tried to protect under their wings as many as they could. It was under their care that many of us finally learn and from their lands some traveled to the more opressed ones and bring a piece of hope to that accursed lands. Many tales can be told of that times, but we will not do it tonight. "
"You must understand that it is in the nature of dragons to hoard... treasure, or power... and in the days of old there were no different. And they crave for more power, and the only way to obtain it was.. from other dragons. They hunt each other and terrible battles issued over the skies, crushed mountains and caused tsunamis that destroyed the coasts. When a Dragon Overlord killed another it was not only for their territory or influence, but for their very essence. They drank their souls if you will, becoming more and more huge and powerful. We... discovered that this was possible because the dragons are creatures so close to the very foundation of the creation that they really share part of the same... energy. "
"This gave us the key. If we could steal that energy, if we could harness it and take away from them... at least partially, then the Overlords could be defeated. "
"But this put us in a dichotomy, for doing that would also affect the ones that had helped us. We had to betray them in order to gain our freedom. "
"Long discussions followed. Many feared that if we tell of our plans to our allies, they will not allow them to come to fruit. To our shame, we did not share our knowledge to the ones that we owed so much. "
"We should have known better. In the end, when the Dragon Overlords discovered our plans, they came as one to destroy us. We are not only talking of the ones that were trying to accomplish the Mithral, but all of the elves. The other dragons came to our aid. Even after knowing what were our plans. The Archwizards completed the ritual and cut them from their very own essences, gathering it and trying to harnessing it. They couldn't do it. At the end, even the immortal souls of the elves are small compared to the dragons. The dragons wrath and anger amplified the energies that were being gathered by the ritual, threatening to destroy even the Weave and the world itself. In a desperate move, they unite all this hate, wrath and fury and bind it together with their very own souls. Knowing that it was impossible to contain it we threw it to the stars, creating a Red Star that forever will cross the void among the stars. "
"The Overlords were thrown away, their kingdoms collapsed and we were finally free. The Loyals were rewarded by Bahamut with skins of the most valuable metals in the world. Today some of them are still our allies.. "
"But the Red Star comes back from time to time, and the dragons, no matter their size or skin, feel it, and are overwhelmed by its power. And that's when the feared Flight of Dragons happens in Toril. And we all must suffer the punishment from our failure in the distant past. "
The music, they are not sure when it began, stops and the lights turn a little bit brighter again. They are not sure if it was part of a spell or their own imagination, but during the tale they could have swear that they could see ethereal images of the events that the Queen and the King had been narrating to them.
In awe of the elven royalty, Logan does his best to express his thanks and enjoys the rest of the ceremonial dinner. He seeks to drink from the Fountain of Sheanine before retiring for the evening, unsure if the spirit of the wolf would be a boon or a curse for his coming endeavors.
