Seeing Gol rush forward, Ban sheathes her rapier. In the same motion, she retrieves a dagger with cunning action . Facing towards Sarros, she gives a deep shrug before taking off after our half-orc companion. "I think there's a saying about following one's paladin."
Sarros lets out a short, brief sigh before also giving chase. While running, he channels another fire bolt. Slinging it from around his arm, it arcs wide. To hit: 17 damage 4
Grol's swing cleaves into the Forest Walker and more dark colored sap pours from the wound.
Despite taking two hits from the branches, Zephyros finally manages to hit the tree and cleaves into it further. It tries to move away to avoid taking extra damage from his aura DEX ST 10. However, the Forest Walker is not very agile and takes the full brunt of it.
Sarros's Fire Bolt lands true and burns the Forest Walker more, doing more damage than expected (vulnerable to fire).
Ban retrieves her dagger and now,
The Forest Walker has taken severe damage this round and now appears to be badly hurt. It rumbles in a higher pitched noise that can only be described as fear and turns around to flee deep into the forest.
Realgâr sees the Forest Walker is fleeing and quickly casts another Vicious Mockery at it to make sure it continues doing so to show it is overmatched. 2 psychic dmg. WIS ST 5. It fails its save and takes yet another assault on its mind as it continues stomping away.
The Forest Walker has taken a beating and is badly hurt. It has also fled 30ft deeper into the forest and shows no sign of returning to meet its certain death. (79 dmg overall, bloodied)
Ban, since you're 1st in the Initiative order, what would you like to do?
Ban will ready herself to continue if need be, but she's following Gol on this. It clearly wants away, but it did attack the group after warnings were issued. Ready an action. Ban will pull out another dagger and stay behind Gol. If he attacks, and it's still up, she attack with both weapons.
If prompted, she will unsheath a dagger with her off-hand, cross her arms, and throw both daggers when within range.
It probably simply didn't understand Common, however, Ban readies her daggers and continues to follow Grol chasing after the Forest Walker as it runs deeper into the forest.
Realgâr looks very apprehensive about pursuing it.
The Forest Walker on its last turn has run 30 ft away from your group and is in a more heavily forested area.
Sarros whirls his arms once again, channeling a firebolt. This time he works the flame around his arm down into his fingers flicks it in it's direction, half-heartedly. He sees it retreating and doesn't have any vendetta against it... but also wants to prove he's useful in his new group.
Approaching Gol, Ban asks, "You alright, big guy? Seemed like you really really wanted it." With the paladin standing down, she will put away her weapons.
With a slight grimace, Grol replies. “Yes, I should have better control over that by now. All this battle... It’s making maintaining control difficult.”
He turns to Ban “I’ll be ok, thank you. Where you hit?”
Sarros's Fire Bolt hits the Forest Walker and sets more of it on fire before it extinguishes. It does turn when you mutter something in Elvish, as if it may have recognized a language it hasn't heard in a while, but does not stop its retreat.
You all do hear a deep rumbling noise come from it that does sound like a form of language (Sylvan)
"No kill I! I go!"
Zephyros is up if you wish to take a turn, otherwise the Forest Walker sees the half-orc paladin stop its pursuit and flees deep into the forest, well out of sight. A trail of smoke from the freshly charged foliage can be seen above the tree line leading off into the distance.
Realgâr wipes the sweat off his brow and says, "Well, there's somethin' you don't see everyday — I thought those were only legends. We should get back on the trail. There should be a place to rest for the evenin' not too much further."

The Forest Walker disappears into the distance and suddenly the air around you doesn't feel as sinister as it did prior to the attack. The hallucinations of colors all around you and giggling also stopped when combat started.
Realgâr says in response to Sarros, "Hard to say. Maybe it simply didn't like the way we were walkin'! Ha! Anyways, it's always customary to have a drink after a fight."
He takes out a bottle of dwarven ale and takes a swig of it, then offers it to anyone who cares to partake.
Realgâr obviously has no real idea as to *why* the Forest Walker attacked or why there were giggling voices with color changes all around, but if anyone feels inquisitive then a Nature, Arcana, or Insight check may yield an answer.
He stands ready to keep walking further down the trail whenever you're all ready, spending these few moments to check his armor and weapons.

Grol ceases his pursuit, the rage still burning in his heart. He closes his eyes, and repeatedly mutters “I am not the rage, the rage is not me.”
His breathing slows, and he can feel the light cool wind across his forehead. He hears the tree beast stomping further into the forrest.
Opening his eyes, he turns to the group, “Anyone hurt?”
